I have shopped Sonya’s several times but that’s it, never again! I purchased several dresses for formal affairs Weddings, Proms, etc. all around $500. Each Straw that broke the camels back is when they refused to have beads resewn on a dress. In fact I was told they could put it back on the rack as is.....unfortunately I had already purchased the dress. Oh did I mention no refunds or exchanges! Their horrendous customer service is absolutely appalling.....Good-bye, good riddens, good luck......by Felica

I bought my mother's Christmas gift here and it was a big hit! They have more than just dresses, nice accessories and yes tons of dresses too, friendly helpful staff!

AWFUL customer service! The 2 girls at the front desk didn't really acknowledge me or anyone I was with. I never understood why places like this stay in business if they hate their job so much. The sales associates offered no help whatsoever. I left simply because I felt ignored and didn't want to support this business. Shop elsewhere!!

Robin and Francesca are good, but Hailey (assistant manager) and Sonya (owner) are out for the store, not the customer. Charged us 20.00 restocking fee for switching a dress within a week even of it being on layaway l. The store is STILL making money it was a change. They almost made my daughter keep the original dress. You the customer choose what to buy. Then the dress we switched had beading missing one associate said no problem bring it in. Of course Hailey sorry we can’t fix it! Smh beware. When shopping here. Some of their policies are bull sh%! You should make customer happy. These things are not asking for much at all.

They were lovely, the people were very helpful and helped me find a dress based off what i told them i liked and said i did or didnt like on the dresses i was trying on. It was a fun experience finding my dress there rather than stressful like it was at other places I've been to.

Got May daughter's Quinceañera dress here. We found this dress on line and NO PLACE in RI sold it, except Sonya's. A bonus: the staff is incredibly helpful.

costumer service? terrible. Sizes? terrible. They apparently have a 10 pound limit and unfourtly i am more than 10 pounds. Do not suggest this store unless you are a size 10 or under and size 10 may be lucky. they don’t deserve any stars

I went with my girlfriend here and was treated like I was some perv. They made me sit on the couch and I couldn't even walk around with her. They make every male any age sit on the couch even though the sign says 13 or under has to sit on the couch.
