My name is Mary and I waited too long to start looking for mother of bride dress. I started to panic because I was having trouble finding any place that carries size 26. Someone found this store online and I walked in an hour before closing and walked out with a dress. Jan thank you so much. I was truly amazed at how you could tell my size without telling you. You knew exactly what style would hide my flaws. I can sleep tonight.

Today was our first but certainly not our last visit to this wonderful store. From the moment we entered this beautiful store, the owner Jan, gave us exceptional service. She listened to my requests and immediately presented several beautiful outfits, including some great bras, for some upcoming weddings. She made the entire experience very comfortable for me with her individualized attention and certainly worth the drive from Massachusetts. If you are looking for something beyond what department stores have to offer then I suggest you visit Botticelli’s. I promise you will not be disappointed. This is a first-class dress shop. I dropped in from NY while in RI for a short vacation, without an appointment. Jan, the owner, dropped her preparations for a fashion show to help me. It was like having a personal shopper. She is kind, funny and most importantly, very very experienced in helping plus sized women finding a perfect special occasion dress. The shop has a good selection of gowns, and before long, I found a gorgeous one for my son’s wedding, and another gown for the other three family weddings this year. You may think there are an abundance of plus sized formal shops in the LI/ NYC area, but there are NOT. Botticelli is well worth the trip, only an hr and a half from the New London Ferry.

I love shopping at Botticelli’s Jan always has something in stock that I want and need, and she is constantly updating her stock. I particularly like the fact that if I see an item on FB that I like but can’t make it there right away that Jan will hold it for me or I can buy it over the phone.

Went for a bra for the first time today upon recommendations of friends. First rate customer service. Great fitting...my entire profile changed (for the better). Finally a bra that fits! And feels comfortable. I am going to wear it for a few days (as suggested) to make sure I don't need adjustments. But I am really pleased...Jan knows her bras!! And women's bodies. I'll be back.

Finally, a place where I can shop stress free! Jan is very knowledgeable about how all the sizes run so I am always able to get the right size the first time. The quality of the clothing is always great, and I love the selection. If you are a plus size woman and haven’t tried Botticelli yet, you need to give it a try! Seriously, half my closet is from this store. Oh, and no more guessing at my bra size either- they measure you for free anytime. Love it!

Yesterday I went in to Botticelli's to find something new for the Jewish High Holidays. After looking at everything I decided on a long shawl type piece by Shein with sleeves. It is black with cranes. My husband said it is probably the prettiest piece i have ever bought and totally elegant. Thanks for a wonderful experience! There was no pressure and you were extremely helpful.

My daughter and I visited the store for the first time today. We each found a couple of great casual pieces, but best of all, Jan gave us both a bra fitting - we were both way off in our sizing. Jan put us into the correct size bras - what a difference in looks and in comfort! If anyone remembers the show, "What Not To Wear," whenever those women got a bra fitting, they looked like they had lost 15 pounds. Well, a proper bra can actually do that. Both my daughter, who is in her 20's, and myself, who - isn't, agreed that it makes a visible difference. Jan has some gorgeous dresses for special occasions, too. And she knows her stuff! We are over an hour away in Massachusetts, but we will be back! Thanks, Jan!

Found my wedding dress here! Jan will find the perfect match to your needs and style. Great for more informal gowns. The money I saved compared to the big dress shops was significant. I didn’t have to pay double the price for a poofy dress that I didn’t love. They have beautiful formal gowns to for those special parties or events. And this is the place to go for undergarments.
