I went to trade in clothes for the first time and didnt know you needed a bag or the limits on the clothes. The lady that helped me was very insistent that i needed a bag to trade in clothes, and even after i told her how far i drove to get there, she said well next time you'll know. The clothes there wee in good condition but a bit pricy for a second hand store. It would of helped to have more information about the rules of trading in clothes before i came, or the wait time i was given 45 minutes, if I had a bag of course. I hope they do well, but having so many rules for trade in, i never went back.

Employees are very nice but the clothing items they have there are very much of a mature womans liking. Fair pricing most of the time but when selling them your clothes, you don't get much in return.

This store has so many awesome (gently used) items such as clothes, shoes, jewelry, makeup, coats, maternity clothes & designer handbags at unbelievable prices. I would recommend this store to everyone.

Maybe I'm just being picky, but when a sign at the store says they open at ten it should open at ten. The two workers leisurely walked up with no apology for being late, and should have already had everything ready in the store so they could have just opened the doors at ten for us. I found out they do not start processing clothing until 11AM, which would have been great to know and isn't on any signs or the website. We were the first people in line, and they could have easily gone through the eight items we had (most with tags) so we wouldn't have to come back hours later. It's very inconvienient

So as a store that promotes BUYING and selling clothes one would think no problem. I go there they are not buying getting ready for a sale...ok fine 2nd attempt. I walk in no one else is in the store (makes sense now). I had to attend an event in Allentown for work which is why I was even in the area. So I said can you look at these items for me. Again no one in the store. She says, it will take 3-4 hours. I said I don't live around here since no one is here and I just have a few can you do it? She says no the computer system only allow's me to process the buy in the order they came in. LIES..I used to work for CM and you can process anything in any order! Then she says just leave it here and come back in 3-4 hours! Again I don't live around here I'm 1.5 hr away. She says well so I am I ! Well who told you to open up a store that far from your home? Then I said well no one is here no one was even out front when I walked in. She says YEAH WELL I HAD TO DEAL WITH THE POLICE PPL WERE STEALING! Again as a customer who just walked in not my problem. As a boss you have to handle all different types of situations calmy, and fairly. Don't expect your customers to pay for your choices/mistakes. And as a customer who just walked in I don't need your bad day!!! Good luck to the owner in life and customer service! I will never go back. But for some reason I feel I am not missing much!

This place is absolutley appalling. They had the nerve to put out and sell RUSTY, dirty earrings to their customers. Thank god my kid was up to date on their tetanus shot after her not very intelligent father bought them for her.

I love Clothes Mentor, but this one was a bit small, so it felt a little claustrophobic. The selection was just okay, but it changes all the time so I'll check back. I'd you've never been to CM before, check out the Montgomeryville location first.

Staff are very friendly at this location and always thank you for bringing in products for resale. Merchandise is hit or miss, but the store is very organized and easy to shop. Pricing is fair. Shoe pricing can be on the higher side, in my opinion.

One must go in with time in order to shop there. There's lots of clothing, well organized, but you have to go through it. You can find really nice sales and buys. This place is only for those that are not squeamish about second hand clothing, but I've found brand new items of very good name brands there.

This store is very inexpensive for dresses. Today I took my girlfriend dress shopping. We left with 8 dresses, 2 jackets, 3 pairs of shoes, 2 skirts, 1 top and 1 scarf. All of this came to $200. You can't beat these prices and all of them items are very high quality. The staff were very pleasant and very very helpful. And I can't wait to see my girlfriend in all of these amazing dresses. My girlfriend is going to tell all of her friends of our experience, and after you go, you will do the same!

The staff is unfriendly. Very off-putting to customers. I felt compelled to say something after getting this vibe following the second time visiting this store. Also it was really hot inside the store today, near 80 degrees. Shop til you drop applies apparently.

Most AWFUL experience at Clothes Mentor Trexlertown. I came in Monday around 12:15 and didn't know I wasn't suppose to bring my things in a trash back so PETER said to me "bring your stuff in a disposable laundry basket next time" I thought okay, you didn't even say Hi to me or how are you today? You basically reprimanded me and I'm a new customer at your business. (Didn't say that but thought that) I said okay and asked which place I should get one of those, he rolled his eyes at me and said "you can get one or just DONT COME BACK" I was so shocked I basically stuttered and couldn't even imagine why he would speak to me that way, I really had no idea they didn't like trash bags and figured he would just say something nice or business friendly. Absolutely the WORST customer service for a business like that to give out. After speaking to Marilyn she said he's never like that which leads me to believe maybe it was my skin color (Italian and Indian -tan) Needless to say I did not sell with them and left directly after. This place is right near my house and was very convenient for me but no customer new or old should have to deal with a horrible nasty person like PETER. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE and drive to the clothes mentor in Montgomeryville.
