I have known the owner (in a customer/owner type of way) off and on since I was in my early 20's (I'm 48 now). He used to run/own the store when it had a different name and location before he landed where he is now. Dean (owner) showed me some of the first magic I had ever seen, starting with the vanishing handkerchief, which is what all Magicians learn first. Although My Father was a Magician and I already knew some slight of hand, Dean taught me a lot of stuff even if I just came to visit the store and didn't buy anything. As the years past, I learned a lot of what I know today from Dean and although we maintained a customer/retailer relationship, I will always remember all he taught me. I am a professional Magician and teacher of magic today and I owe some of that to Dean Johnson. I don't care what anyone says about the store. If you need magic supplies or costumes, they are the place to visit. If you go there enough, eventually, they'll treat you like family. (Assuming they don't the first time) I haven't been there in a long time but I plan to go see him soon. His store is the last one standing in OKC that has magic tricks. That alone should speak volumes.

Not only were their costumes quality but every single one came with multiple accessories (even shoes) and the price to rent them is the best I have seen in Okc. The staff was amazing and attentive. They helped me pair every accessory to match the outfit and told me how to wear the costume to properly resemble the era I was portraying. They gave me a brief family history and insight to how they started their business. I felt like family walking out the door. I will be going to them for my costume needs from now on. P.S. they do alterations to the costumes on site and within minutes.

This place is a hidden jewel! The owner is very friendly and helpful. Renting a costume on short notice was actually a pleasurable experience. He was very accommodating. If you need a unique costume for any occasion, this is the place to go! He has EVERYTHING!

One of the last real costume stores left in OKC. The owner was very kind and gave me a small tour of the store and was very clear with prices and rates. The shop is a little hard to find but once you're in you can see the diverse selection and wonderful atmosphere. They also can make and order various costumes if given a good heads notice. Definitely give this place a visit if you're throwing a costume bash or play/event!

I walked in knowing I needed a santa suit. I walked out with a full suit, belly, beautiful beard and wig. It was a smashing hit. Dean was great and explained everything to me. I was very happy with the price and quality of the suit. I included some sample pics. Yes, two women played Santa.

Just started getting into magic. After being on vacation in Eureka Springs and running into an awesome magic shop, I bought some magic supplies and when I got home I immediately googled magic shops in OKC. I was surprised there was only 1. I found the costume fun house easily and to my surprise it was just down the street from my favorite restaurant gopuram. I went in the 1st time 2 weeks ago with my son who is 2. Immediately I met Dean he asked how he could help. I told him I saw he sold magic supplies and he directed me to the counter where he sold them. He was very nice and began interacting with my son, made him 2 animal baloons. He asked me how long I have been doing magic and I said I just started. He started showing me various trick he sold. He was very knowledgeable and knew how to perform well all the tricks and supplies he sold. He was even very patient with my son who kept trying to grab stuff out of the cabinets. After about an hour of showing me tricks, I bought a few things and he took time to help me understand how the tricks worked. So I went back again this week....again with my son....and he again gave my son 3 baloons to play with. He asked me how the tricks were going and showed me a bunch more. I was there for an hour and bought a few things. He told me to come back and show me what I learned and he would give me pointers. Overall I would give the magic portion of this shop as high a rating as possible. My son loved looking at all the costumes they had there. I didn't look around too much at this but they had a ton of costumes and accessories....just about anything you could think of. I plan on going back to this store often. And also to mention, prices are amazing on magic supplies. I paid almost double in Eureka Springs for the same things. And costume fun house is even pretty comparable in price to online suppliers, plus you get the benefit of seeing the trick done in person.

This place is fantastic for all of the variety of costumes that they carry. I rented a Tuxedo for a Senior Prom. They have plenty of sizes in all of their rentals n they do alterations if needed. Plus plenty of seasonal costumes like the Easter Bunny, pirates, roaring 20's dresses, etc. You name it n they've got it. I was also very impressed with their Prices, very reasonable n they've been here in Okc over 50yrs. It's a family run business n some of the nicest people. Dean is also a Magician n he does Birthday Parties for children n adults.

I came here to look for a deck of cards to practice magic and cardistry and left with alot more. Not only did he show me alot of stuff he had he felt would be a good fit but after buying he even took the time to teach me how they worked and recommended two books he though would help me. I highly recommend them if your looking for a few new tricks.

I decided to hire a magician for my daughter's birthday. I Googled for them all around the city. This was the cheapest prices I could find. NO DOUBT. Magician Dean Johnson was not only on time but he was hilarious and interacted with all the children and adults ages 2 to 35 throughout the evening. I would recommend him to anyone anytime. I will be hiring him back for future parties.

Their website says that it has, "Complete Supplies for the Amateur or the Professional," in regards to their magic supplies. I get here and I look around, to find out that nothing is for sale. I'm fine with that, I wish they would have said that on their site or anywhere in the store. I look around and can't find their magic supplies. After inquiring about it they point me to a display case. Their supplies consist of rope, ball and vase, and a coin changer. Hardly complete supplies, they had no cards, no cups and balls, really nothing that you could use to make a complete performance. The workers were not nice, and just watched me the whole time until I left. The store was packed with costumes that made it hard to move, as a result the floors were dirty and had a pretty bad smell.

I went in to see what magic supplies they had and it was a decent selection as I walked in and said what I was looking for he handed me a deck of cards and asked me to do a trick I’d open with he showed me a bunch of tricks ex. Coin in the bottle/three card monte. I highly recommend this place for magic supplies

Best place in OKC to get a costume! The most unbelievable variety for any occasion or just because... Most costumes are hand made and are available for sale or rental. WE JUST HAD GREAT TIME and found the perfect outfit.
