I would highly recommend going here to anyone I know! When buying my dress there was an issue with the zipper getting caught on the beautiful belt detail so the store paid for my dress to get the zipper replaced AND the owner came to the alterations shop when I went to try it on to make sure I LOVED IT. I was so impressed that she would go out of her way to come and make sure I was happy! When shopping here you will be welcomed with smiles and excitement. The owner always is so excited to see me and she takes the time to get to know her customers. This shop makes finding your prom dress a special experience and is always willing to make their customers happy!

Horrible service. We were under the impression you could just walk in and get a dress. And you can, but the employees were very rude and more concerned with someone buying a dress tHan the actual costumer. If there was an option for 0 star's out of 5 I would use that.

I came into the store last week, and I’ve got to be honest— I am extremely disappointed. Not only with the costumer service and high prices for low-quality dresses, but also with the way an employee was being disrespected. I saw a manager yelling at a young teen and not only did it make her cry, it had me tearing up as well. I was in utter disbelief that a grown woman would treat someone like this in front of the entire store and multiple costumers. It most definitely left a bad impression and I was embarrassed to be in a store with such a contentious atmosphere. Prom is supposed to be a pleasant, fun night and KooKoo’s nest left an unforgettably poor impact on me. I felt like I was on an episode of “What Would You Do?” I will be searching elsewhere for my kids’ prom attire, and I will be sure to tell my friends and family to as well. I’m am not usually the type to bash on businesses, but I would give KooKoo’s 0 stars if that was an option.

As a plus sized woman I can walk in there and buy clothing from a local boutique and that’s a big deal for me. Gave me the up down & said "I hope you keep it local, because that is important to Bismarck! NEVER will go back in for that treatment!! So many other online options!! This was our first time at the store and when I called to schedule my appointment I was asked if I was familiar how the appointments work. After responding no, only thing I was told was that there is a $25.00 fee to reserve your time. At no point or time was I informed of the 1 hour time limit. Upon arrival we were rushed to the back, again…no directions, we were given 3 clips to identify what dresses my daughter liked. Once we chose the first 3 dresses, we went to try them on. We repeated this clips process again and went for next 3 dresses. Again no mention of the hour time limit. I had noticed the timer by the dressing room door and after asking about it is when I was told that we only have an hour. If we can't find one in that timeframe, we are unable to continue trying on dresses, we would have to go to the front and see if we can reserve another time. 9min left of our appointment we were pressured to choose from the dresses we had seen. I had two more dresses that I had chosen but the girl who was helping us felt it was not enough time. Also I was rudely pointed out that I'm not allowed to remove any dresses from the rack, but yet the worker wasn't very helpful of seeing what I had picked out. Overall not happy, not impresses and would not recommend, unless you know what you want and like. Otherwise you won’t have enough time. ***Dear owner*** I see that in your response you are stating that you inform people about the 1 hour time limit while scheduling the appointment! I can assure you that this did not happen. I was asked if I was familiar with the appointment scheduling but no explanation as how the appointment works. I would highly recommend encouraging your employees to do that.

I got my prom dress from here last year and this year, and i loved shopping there but the girls who helped me try on dresses were rude. This year i was not finding the dress I wanted, so as anyone would, I asked to try on more dresses. The girl helping (I do not remember her name) was not happy about it and was encouraging me to just pick one of the ones that i had already tried on and not to try on more. This was because “the more you try on, the harder to choose”.. this may be true, but i hadn’t found one i liked, but I was there to have a good time and find a prom dress and she made me want to leave. I did try more on and found one i liked, but my family and I were not happy with our experience there.

Good customer service but high prices. I rented a tux there the origial price was about $200 got a 40% coupon so spent around $150. So not bad but high and then I didn't return it exactly the next day and bam $20 late fee like what the hell. I do not recommend renting anything from there!!!!!
