Be careful if you make orders with Spandex World online. I ordered a sample set weeks before I needed the fabric to make sure I was ordering the right color. It states in their policies that if you order a sample set, you must CALL instead of ordering ONLINE when you go to place an order of that color, as dye lots may change. I am perfectly happy to abide by that; however, I did not call, instead I ordered from their online catalog, using the Product # (10405), but when it came in the mail, it was CLEARLY Product # 684 which I received - and I did have the sample set to compare it to. My sample of #684, when placed on top of the fabric they sent me with my order - the 2 are IDENTICAL. I have been buying color-specific fabrics for a long time, and I do realize that dye lots can change the color, BUT NOT TO AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT SHADE! They clearly take their customers for being idiots. Spandex World is trying to swindle their customers by not doing their job thoroughly, and then blaming it on their customers instead of taking responsibility for their mistake! And now I've got to waste my own money and time getting to a FexEx and paying to print out a return label to return the incorrect fabric! For their mistake! Poor customer service!
Does anyone have a recommendation for which one of their competitors I should begin shopping with? Because now I must find a new supplier as well!
