Everyone at Greenstones was really patient with us as we traipsed around the city with our two- and four-year-old boys! We needed a new pair of shoes for each of them after they decided to stomp in puddles and thus couldn’t possibly wear their wet shoes, and the two people we worked with at Greenstones helped us find just the right pair for each kiddo. They were so patient as we looked through their incredible selection, got the right sizes, figured out which ones my kids would be willing to wear, and the rest of the sometimes laborious process of doing seemingly simple things like shoe shopping! We got some adorable Spider-Man snap-bracelet watches, too, and some great summer clothing. Next time we’re back in the city, this will be my go-to place with kiddos! They have something for everyone and a seriously impressive selection of clothing and gear, from infant all the way up to pre-teen!

As wonderful a selection of ultra-stylish fashions for your or your friend's (very young) children as you can find in NYC, and with correspondingly ultra-high price tags. Best for those who want to hear "Oh, isn't that just dear!" and who are willing to pay dear just to hear it.

We've been shopping here since before I had kids for gifts for friends. Love the owners and the selection and they've grown with my children. Now they have a tasteful, yet fun tween/juniors collection that allows my oldest daughter to have her own taste without it becoming tacky. My kids get everything from beautiful classic dresses (Mayoral, Lily Gaufrette, etc.) to high end jeans and coats, to casual sundresses (Splendid, etc.), beautiful backpacks and headwear, to great under garments (Esme), here to camp clothes (Dori, Scoop, fun shorts). I've never had a problem with returns (they give store credit only), and they've been great about special orders for colors or sizes when they are able to.
