One of my favorite stores. Wish the staff worked together more to make the whole store shopible. What's the reason one staff just stands around in a tidy area when another staff struggles to make their area more presentable and clearly needs the help of 2-3 coworkers??

I had the absolute worst experience at this store. The woman working the register at about 2:40 pm on Friday January 4th 2019 was extremely rude to me and my mother. We were waiting patiently in line with smiles on our faces and when we thought the customer at the register had left we started to approach the register and she very rudely and loudly said with a LOT of ATTITUDE "I didn't say NEXT DID I? GO BACK IN THE LINE!" I could not believe she was so rude. All she had to say was "I'm sorry I'm not ready for you just yet" Or "hold on for another moment please"... Apparently she was having a bad day or she didn't like the way I looked, who knows? She was very unprofessional and barely said a word to me once I was able to pay for my item. She certainly did NOT say anything nice (like have a nice day) when ringing me up. She probably should be FIRED for acting so rude. I hope no one else has to encounter the attitude I did. I will NEVER return to this store it give Banana Republic a HORRIBLE name. For the high end brand name I expected much better customer service.

The store has a great selection and personnel on the floor are always great, but checkout is always incomprehensibly awful... No matter how many people in line (or the number of employees behind the counter), there is always only 1 person checking out and you can count on at least 10 minutes in line.... It's bizarre, great store, but expectations are rarely met as last moments are always so miserable.

Good place for looking classic, business or casual clothes at good price. For those who didn't know, Banana Republic is the "high end" brand from the GAP family. So it's really good quality clothes and the factory store has better prices than the regular retail stores. Maybe the don't have all the new arrivals but wait 2 or 3 months and they will have them. Also the store has a Petite women section.

Nice store in Harlem. Its on a busy street but well kept and it seems to have a decent selection. It didn't have my size (I'm a size 40 waist) the highest they had was 38, at least where I checked. Overall go to it if you like BR and you're in the area.
