Ahh American Eagle. There are stores all over the country so rating it on it's clothing selection seems a bit trite. Instead I'll say that this store has a great layout with ladies on the 1st floor and menswear on the 2nd. It's a huge store compared to the mall locations I'm used to in Ohio. The staff is young, upbeat and helpful. The dressing rooms are large and accommodating but the unwanted clothes need to have a place to be left. I went during a big sale and it still seemed like i had to plenty of space to walk around and find what I was looking for. Great location and great deals!

American eagle is one of my favorite stores. They have a wide range of clothes which are appealing to young adults. They can be a bit pricy but it is wort it. Their clothes are very comfortable and fashionable.

I don't care for there clothing I was on a manhunt for a beanie for my boyfriend. However, I got a spray called surf from there and everyone loves it on me. It smells awesome and last longer than any bath and body works spray. So I will be stocking up on the perfumes.

I don't usually shop American Eagle for their clothes. But, their recent $20 bra promotion got me in the door, in addition to the $5 discount. They have a limited selection of sizes though compared to the Soho location. It doesn't require a purchase to reveal what you win in the promotional card, but the cashier was a little pushy about how she will only reveal it I make a purchase...

Union square ae studio was remodeled. They have custom jean decorations. Very friendly staff. A sitting lounge with free water bottles. A free laundry service for neighborhood students.

I stopped in here because I saw a bra online that I wanted to try and happened to be walking by. While this location does not have bras I discovered (they do have swimwear), the store seemed super well organized, well-lit and all the salespeople were INCREDIBLY friendly and nice. Like not in an annoying way! Somehow I genuinely felt like they cared when they asked if I needed any help. Very pleasant experience even though they didnt even have what I was looking for!

Then we went back to try on clothes and realized the mirrors make you look much larger than you really are. Not a sound business decision.

Went her once and never again because my first visit was not normal. I could not freely walk around and look at items. Was constantly being rushed by sales associates and the items I did want I couldn’t hold them like other customers; mines was taken straight to the counter. I have been there a year ago had to return some jeans I have orderd online. Got so much attitude from stuff . I am very disappointed. She was complaining that store isn't a post office and online orders should be returned by mail. Well, since then I don't shop with American Eagle at all. If company states that a buyer has 2 options to return things and then in store you getting attitude as if you are stupid or not able to read is too much. Make it clear for buyers and employers. If i have an option to return in store make sure to inform you employers not to give attitude about that. I don't have a car and I live close to subwas. This actually gives the most convenient way for me to return online orders in store. Returning by mail will cause me more waist of time and problems than in store return. This company's policies are not thought through. Disappointed.....

The store is usually packed with "younger" crowd like teenagers. Which is why I am guessing why most of the staff is teenagers. The service is usually good but sometimes, the reps are way too friendly or pushy. I remember one of them telling me how she is going start binge drinking over the weekend to get ready for the bikini season. {I am not even sure how that make sense, maybe I am too old or something...} Although, most of the people who work there are more than willing to help you find a size or direct you to the correct department. I used to wear American Eagle stuff a lot during college and it was very affordable with the discounts. I now mostly come here for the jeans. I like how the jeans come in different lengths, short, long, "normal", etc. Although, at 5' 2", I am still a bit short for Short, perhaps in the future they will have a super short option available. The jeans are comfy and last a decent amount of time. I usually wear the jeans on days I am doing some "active" where I don't want to wreck my more expensive jeans [but now I am thinking about it, why did I bother buying them if I rarely wear them]. Overall, the clothes are durable and very affordable especially with the sales and discounts.

I really just wanted to get in, get what I wanted and then get out. I really don't need the over persistent employee engagement. I was approached the first time by a lady who asked me what I was looking for. I wish she had asked if she could help me so I could've said just no. I said jeans and she continued to ask questions while I replied with one word answers hoping that I could just shop in peace. She came up to me three different times all while I had my earphones in.

The space is beautiful. The selection is great. Unfortunately when you go to try on an item and it didn't fit they refer you back to the section where an employee is said to be waiting to assist. I've always had to go and get my own size and return to the dressing room myself. The clothes are okay for men but there are better options nearby. (Scotch and Soda)

Bought two jeans and got 25% discount, good deal. The staff was really helpful and managed to find the jeans that I had seen online within a minute. There are also laundry machines to customize your jeans, really cool, I didn't use it though. Everything was organized and clean, great shopping experience.

Foosball. That's what this place is to me. Upstairs in the women's clearance section they have foosball. Granted, some pieces might be broken, but that's what makes the game fun! Otherwise for clothes, check online for on-going sales. It's a sweeter deal in store where you don't have to pay for shipping.
