Terrible customer service and incredibly unreliable!!!. Called a day ahead of our visit to Red River. Booked and paid our 15% deposit for a 4 Door Jeep rental - 1/2 day. We were told to be there 30 minutes prior. We got there, filled out the forms and proceeded to finish the process and obtain our Jeep to head out for our adventure. The female (elderly woman who wears a cowboy hat) began telling us that “Kit” had called to let us know there weren’t any Jeep’s available for us. We had not received any calls and our reservation had been confirmed the day before. No one even tried to remedy the situation. They were very dismissive and couldn’t care less. NEVER will we even TRY to do business there again. BAD BUSINESS people.

My wife and I decided to go to Red River for a vacation for a few days. Ten days before our trip I contacted Red River Mountain Adventures to reserve a side by side (OHV). I was told there were machines available for every day we would be there, so I reserved one for all day Friday, and they changed the deposit to my credit card. When we arrived on Friday morning we were told, and I quote “We don’t have a machine for you. We are sorry, we overbooked, someone has to lose and today it’s you”. No compensation or anything, horrible place of business. Don’t let them ruin your Red River Vacation.

This was our first year @ Red River & unfortunately, due to wildfires, the Carson Nat'l Forest was closed to all recreational activity! We were so looking forward to doing a UTV tour, too! But, RRMA, to the rescue! When we first checked, they were booked solid our entire week in NM. But, I called the morning of our last day & Kit had a cancellation for the EXACT number of people in our party! We were thrilled! Even though we ended up split across 2 UTVs and 3 littles in a Jeep the tour was AH-MAZING! We had no idea the trip would be 4 hours long or the amount of history we would learn - never mind the views! Ed was a fantastic tour guide. We will definitely be doing this tour again and would recommend it to others...but, book early!

I happened upon RRMA while looking for a ride up the mountain to drop off a friend who we hired to shoot some aspens near Emerald Chair. While there, I found a screw in my tire...Brad agreed to a small $ to ferry the friend in an ATV the next day! (We showed at the appointed time the next day and another awesome young guy took us where we needed to go AND picked us up when done with the photos!) Asking where I could fix a tire, he said "Let me take a look..." He fixed it in under 5 minutes, perfectly done I must add, and refused to take my money for the repair. There ATVs are in great shape, from what I see, and they are more affordable than some other folks in town.

We rented a Jeep for the day and had a blast. I think the price is very reasonable for a day of exploring around the area. The vehicle was dependable and provides a way for someone with limited physical abilities to get out and explore the mountains. We will do this again very soon.
