Was okay welcoming workers but even with a reciept NEVER WORN pants I got my husband with Tags on the lady in charge said she could only exchange 1x!?! Why 1 time idk but according to the policy as long as it isn't worn and has the tags with receipt I can exchange all day everyday or else change the rules and exceptions on the policy. That's all. Other than that was okay.

The employee that was at the checkout was too busy talking to her coworker to let me pay, made me wheel all my feed back over to another checkout because she had to finish her conversation before she could tell me where she wanted me to go. I then waited for about 5 minutes for her to look up a common bag of chicken feed before I decided I didnt need it that badly. Nice store, terrible employees.

We got some help from a guy who gave us advice on raising chickens and what we will need. Great prices on everything from chicks, to feed, to equipment for a coop. Downside is it's understocked and quite messy.

I love Big R! This place is great, good prices, they carry a great variety of products that suit many of my needs, and loads of parking. I did not have any customer service issues as prior reviewers noted - in fact, I found the staff to be friendly and helpful! Glad to have this in Santa Fe!

Needed a solid rubber tire for my manure cart. It took 10 or so minutes to find the clerk who had taken the tire to ask about someone else if they carried a 20 inch solid rubber tire. I finally found her talking with a male clerk. He told me I could buy it on Amazon (already looked, not the same size available) and then told me I could just fill this tire with CEMENT and use it as though it were a solid rubber tire. What?!?!?! And not particularly friendly. I really don't like this place.

I find it odd that not only does a store correct a price change that got missed, but also should give a discount on top of it...Also find it odd that we would buy a dirty hat and not point it out at the registers. I believe this gentleman was also given a $25 or $50 gift card as well as returning the hat for his troubles. This is a great store with competitive prices! They will also price match anything that you find in another local store, can special order just about anything that they don't have or carry! It's a new store that is going through the growing pains and establishing a great staff, which takes time and doesn't happen over night. Go in and give them a try!

Both the Assistant Manager Joe Cruz and lead Manager went above and beyond in rectifying a truly traumatic terrible experience from the Las Vegas Big R that almost costed me as a valued costumer to the Big R brand. I even upgraded to a better product at the Santa Fe Big R, spending more money ($120.36). With a feeling of being not only a valued customer but a respected costumer. I didn’t feel profiled like I was in LV, NM Big R. The Santa Fe Big R has greatly improved over the last year and after today they have my loyalty as a costumer. Their management responded and reacted like a professional well trained team of leadership. As a Military Veteran who struggles with PTSD, I was faced with anxiety, gender discrimination, and treated like a second class citizen — at the Las Vegas, Big R. I will NEVER return to the establishment until leadership is replaced. I felt comfortable, safe, protected, valued, appreciated, and heard at the Santa Fe Big R. Thank you for making me feel safe and taking away the painful emotional distress Las Vegas Big R impacted on me. You have really gained my loyalty as a customer and reestablished my trust in the Big R brand. That welcoming feeling is irreplaceable. Thank you.

I've had very good and very bad experiences here. I love the store, good prices and variety I buy my jeans here and have bought a 38 revolver. This week I went to buy a trailer that they had on the lot. Gave the manager my info and waited around for a good 20 to 30 minutes to find out they don't have the title to the trailer. How does that work? Where was it lost? Bad for business.

I have made good purchases from them over the years, but just bought a 29$ SUP paddle from them for daughter and friends for a lake outing, paddle did not float went to bottom like rock, came back to store w package, manager refused credit or refund. No warning on package "does not float" my other 2 paddles float as might be expected.

Very poor management which then trickles down to employees. When the manager, Phil, is weak and unprofessional, it sets the pace for all employees involved. He has no business running any kind of establishment with that kind of attitude. All of these people need a lesson on Americans with Disabilities Act. You don't call a coworker stupid names based on their very serious disability (I hope you're slapped with a huge lawsuit Mindy) and you don't discriminate against an employee with a disability. I hope they face some major fines from EEOC, especially Phil and Mindy.

Today I picked up some dog food the dog food was clearly marked at a price at $21 and some cents . At the register it was $24 more than the dog food that was stocked at the manager Ryan was called to witness The error he did honor the price that was shown he did not offer to give any manager discount. With a group of three men they made me as the customer feel as I was the one that made the error what happened to customer is always right I enjoy coming into the store for the quality that they have but in the future I am going to consider going somewhere else

It's okay. Can't find the simplest things here. Like a feed bucket with a air tight lid. 50 different styles of buckets but no lids. Wth! Usually have a decent feed selection but run out items often.

I decided to go in but found I had a few questions so Andrea helped me out and made a GREAT recommendation for my new humming bird feeder and food.
