Remember when they used to sell hot tubs here? I went one time years ago and this super coked up guy in an ill fitting suit with large shoulder pads was yelling at this bleach blonde plastic surgery disaster about how her electric bill wouldn't go up THAT much for having the hot tub LOL

Just went to the State Scare Haunted House over the weekend and it was pretty good. My gf def got scared and the whole set and costumes and actors were really good. This is one of the better ones in the area. At $20/person it is a little expensive, but it was a good time. Highly recommended. (p.s. - there is a coupon for $2 off online).

After walking around for about 20 mins looking for a costume, i was asked that i check my mini bookbag at the cashier while i shop. My husband and i looked around and saw that 2 white women had the same mini bookbag and were not asked to check their bags! When i asked why they weren't asked, he said he is working on it. 2 mins later he went back to his post and didnt ask anyone else to check their bag. I love halloween and this experience made me feel terrible. Talk about blatant discrimination! Y'all should be ashamed!

Buyer Beware! Bought a pool from them less than 3 years ago. Siding is rusting, two holes in the liner - one is a HUGE gash we discovered after uncovering this season. Having owned an above ground pool for many years, definitely faulty and was told not covered by them to replace.

Did not enjoy my last visit even though ive been going there for years. I tried on a costume and was unsure if i wanted. The woman folded it and put it back in the bag. She then followed me through the whole store til i put it doqn. Which i did on purpose to see if she was actually following me. I wonder if this is policy

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS STORE. My parents went into the store in late July to buy an outdoor patio set with a table, chairs, umbrella, and umbrella stand. They picked out a table on display and the store rep sold them the entire set plus a delivery fee of $50 to deliver to it to their house, which was 1 mile away from the store. Total cost with taxes and delivery was $840. Within a month the table and chairs began to leak rust. The rust stained the carpet and deck on which the set was located. I proceeded to contact the store about the defect. After 2 weeks of going back and forth with store reps, they finally were able to speak to owner and the owner said they would give a full refund for the defect. The store manager said they would be picking up the set and then we would have to go in with the receipt to get a refund. The owner sent her employees to the house to pick up the set. I proceeded to go to the store with the receipt to get the refund. THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM BEGAN. The storeowner only wanted to refund my parents $790. She did not want to refund the delivery fee even though they sent a defected table set. She proceeded to say that she was doing us a favor by giving us any refund at all. She mentioned that my parents should’ve known the table would leak because it is an import from china and therefore it is cheap material. She said and I quote, “They got what they paid for”. Insisting that it was a low price therefore it was bad quality. I proceeded to state that my parents did not speak English and therefore when they bought the set they did not know what they were buying because they figured that a store of that caliber would not sell cheap quality items. THE OWNER THEN STATED AND I QUOTE, “WELL THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM THAT THEY DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH. I SPEAK ENGLISH.” I FOUND THIS TO BE EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I continued to ask if she would refund the delivery fee of $50 since they only delivered it a mile away and the item was defected and now my parents have nothing to show for paying a delivery fee. She continued to say she would not refund the delivery fee and that we were lucky to get a refund at all. Therefore, please be careful and avoid this store at all costs. They do not care about the customer, and they sell cheap quality imported items as the owner herself mentioned to me. The language remark was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional especially for someone who owns a small business in an area including many different languages with many different people who do not speak English.

When i first walked in i said hello to the lady who i seen first she didn't say anything back i dont know if she did not hear me or if she just didnt speak back but then another lady walks up and says hello and asked what did i need help with today but befor i can tell her a gentleman comes out the back and helps me from start to finish and i thank him so much for helping me he was customer friendly he listened and gave his best advice and he was very resourceful. I had the best experience at State Fair. I took my son daughter in law and 8 month old grandson there for his first costume. They had to evacuate their home in North Carolina due to hurricane Florence. They came to NJ. Upon arriving to State Fair we were told the Halloween section wasn’t open yet. I explained our situation to a lovely lady at the register. She spoke to her manager and allowed us to enter the costume section and get my grandson his first costume. You have restored my faith in humanity which is tried on a daily basis. They were so sweet and kind in understanding our situation. So looking forward to my trip to NC to trick or treat with my grandson aka precious little puppy( his costume). Thank you again ladies you made a difficult situation much brighter for my family. Job well done!!!!

I bought and intex filter from State Fair. After 6 days of purchase it stopped working. I didn't think about keeping the receipt as my first one lasted me 3 years. Called and talked to the manager. She gave me so much attitude didn't listen to me. I told her I have shopped at the store for years and never had an issue. She was so nasty and should not be a store manager. She even hung up the phone on me. Thank you for your rudeness. Will no longer shop her and I'm thankful there is another pool store up the road. Horrible customer service!!! Also on amazon I found the same filter for $40 instead of $80. I try to shop local but the is double the amount. Definitely never going there again.

By far the BEST Halloween store around. Beats all of the pop-up stores and Party City. They have great customer service and outstanding prices! The selection is truly incomparable to other stores.
