Choose your battles. The place has some decent clothes but it always seems so quiet and barren when you walk in. The staff doesn't really walk around much (I wish they did) to help so you're on your own. Better off ordering online and avoiding this awkward store experience.

I'm getting ready to return to work after maternity leave, so I needed a lot of new clothes. I took my three month old daughter to the store with me and didn't know how much time I would have to shop. The sales associate working the dressing room, Michelle, was extremely helpful. She ran back and forth pulling different sizes and styles for me (even though the store was very busy) and she gave helpful feedback. I was very happy with my experience and with my purchase.

I had never complained about this store until today. When I went to check out, the cashier ( a young black man) didn't greet me, he was very rude when I told him I was using the " friends and family discount" I had received via e-mail. He told me I should had say something before the transaction, and he said I couldn't use it because it was an online code. Meantime the bar code was there in the email to use in stores. His attitude totally killed my shopping experienced. In a bright side, KIM AND JENN were very friendly and helpful when I was in the fitting room, they helped me make a couple of choices and they were assisting me the entire time.

This store tends to get very busy but I came 20 minutes before they closed on a Sunday night. So, there weren't a lot of people and I got a room to try on the clothes immediately. The selection is good and they have a backroom where they put all the sales items. The prices at BR are more reasonable for workwear than J. Crew. I am not so thrilled with their design or creativity but they are comfortable and safe choices.

I like Banana Republic, but I prefer to order online. The store is usually messy with clothes thrown all over the place. Customer Service is poor. I find it difficult to locate a sales associate when I have questions. They never seem to have enough people at the cash registers which results in me waiting a long time to checkout.

I've been a client of Banana Republic for 20+ yrs..Its the quality of the cloths that keeps me coming back. The appeal is it's dual-styling of American and European clothing. The service has been 98% exceptional the other 2% is shopping the day after X-mas and the weeks after leading into the New Year which is rather over whelming at times but I can't be an absentee for the great sales.

Beautiful store, but I had a pair of light washed Rapid Movement jeans start falling apart after only 3 months! They were tearing in random places, like the wash had weakened the denim to an excessive degree. I bought the darker wash the same day and they are still fine. Not only did they not do an equal exchange for the same pants in the darker wash, but they only credited me the current (very low) price because I no longer had a receipt and had paid cash. Who keeps a receipt for 3 month old jeans? Lesson learned. If I buy anything there, it will be on a card. And they just starting to be able to email your receipt. In any case, I will think twice before buying there again. They were extremely disappointing on both quality AND customer service!

The most recent arrivals are always at the front of the store. There's seating area for the (patient) men/kids to wait at. The jewelry section is located in front of the check out section. Clothes are generally nicely laid out and no big messes created by customers; except for the sale section. The Petite section is located near the middle of the store and to the right side. The fitting room is not cramped and I did not have to wait long for one to open up. The fitting room staff member is also very courteous. Overall a pleasurable shopping experience.

I was not a fan of the new line of merchandise at the time of my visit. The sale area was a mess and I did not even find anything after exhausting myself by digging. I think their fragrances are pretty nice though. Maybe you have to be a slim fit and around the holidays that was not me.

Went on Black Friday and even with huge crowds the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the store remained very organized and clean. Nothing looked rummaged through or dirty. Staff members greeted me and were very kind and helpful.

A minority of guys working in the fitting room were messing around, which is all well and good when it's quiet. But when asked for the stock of an another shirt size. They looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders and replied we don't have any more. Shortly after, their shift ended someone else was much more helpful. He scanned the item on the handheld computer as well as found the item for me. This was the Saturday staff at around 5-6pm.

Its from decent to good qualities clothes, definitely more business centric attires, plus some semi casual, casual added. Some of their items don't justify their price tags. Highly recommend to shop on sale/clearance section. Thats where you get the gems. Take your time and go through it. Buying full price item is not recommended. Store is decent sized, so you find everything in that compact store. I definitely think regular training should be provided to staffs so they are more competent when it comes to knowledge about their job and improve customer service eventually. Mostly the staffs are nice. Visit during noon, or morning so you wont end up waiting for checkout forever.

I love banana republic. And this is one of their best locations in the city, it's my favorite. You can find a great variety of clothes there. Note that. Ot all of their locations have the same variety. Some of them have a very limited variety. Staff is very helpful and professional mostly, except for one time that I had a bad experience with a cashier who didn't know how to use their system and denied giving me an advertised discount, ended up leaving without buying Nd wasted my time.
