What there is NOT to love about this store?They have a variety of clothes for men and women, they have costumes of every kind,they have a lots of hats,vintage clothes,vintage furniture and vintage jewellery. If you are looking for something UNIQUE I would strongly recommend you look here before you go elsewhere. The people that work in the store are very nice and helpful and the young lady is extremely nice and helpful. If you are looking for an opportunity to photograph unique objects and art...you are in the right place!

Junkee is different things to many people. An awesome used clothing and costume boutique. A neighborhood thrift store with definite amped up personality. An antique, knick knack and nostalgia emporium. All combined, Junkee embodies Reno’s quirky Midtown concept of uniqueness. We’ve shopped there during the bustle of a crowded Saturday night, the quiet of Sunday afternoon and purchased furniture, Halloween items and more. The place does also have an underlying aura of spiritual character as well - so many vintage dolls watching you shop. The employees (very creative, check out the table top displays) are upbeat and always helpful. Plan on spending a bit of time here just wandering, as Junkee does become addicting - It's easy to become a Junkee junkie :)

Junkee has been a long time fav of mine and I always take out of town guests! There is half second hand clothing (with some new stuff mixed in) and half vintage and antiques. The pricing is a little steep in the clothing side, but it’s because it’s all good stuff and you’re paying to not hunt through Savers to find a cute piece or two. Also, the staff is super helpful if you’re looking for something specific (including things like “I’m going to a pirate party.” “I’m looking for a rockabilly style dress” etc.).

Fun little store that really defines the Midtown area of Reno. They can be a touch on the expensive side as far as clothes, but most things are less than $30. Definitely recommend if you want festival wear or a costume, or if you want a unique addition to your everyday wardrobe.

This store has anything you could want for good prices! Lots of vintage/unique clothing options. Good for special occasions/Halloween/burning man. Also have a very extensive antique and whatever else you could want selection. Some of the items can be priced a little high for what it is, but overall good value. Also a great place to sell items. Got free beer while we were there and all the employees were super fun and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!

WOW... WOW... WOW---> I can't believe all the fantastic, wonderful, beautiful and gorgeous jewelry for women and nice things for men - photos, lamps and antiques... the list goes on and on and on. I'm serious about this. I think we could spend 8 hours a day for probably two or three days and possibly see everything they have. But of course you wouldn't remember the beautiful things you saw three days earlier because just about everything in this huge Warehouse has interest to everybody. I plan on going there next weekend and spending another two or three hours. Okay in this Junkee store as anything and everything you could possibly want for yourself or a gift for someone special.

Found this place in the hotel room advertising book. Really funky and fun. Antique side is very reasonable and carries not only antiques but some vintage and shabby chic sellers. Typical stall sellers which makes it very eclectic. Great vintage costume jewelry selection. The others side is costumes from vintage dresses to hand made theatre costumes to new stuff.

This place did not exist in Reno when I used to live here some odd 15 years ago. This makes me sad because this store is quite amazing! There are two sides to the place; one for clothing and costumes and the other for antiques. I paid a visit to Junkee Clothing Exchange today because I was just given notice that a friend of mine having a 1920's themed wedding where costumes are very much encouraged. Junkee had quite a few racks of dresses containing styles from just about every decade; in fact many of the tags are labeled with the decade. After leafing through all of the racks I headed to the dressing rooms to try on a handful of dresses. The associate who let me into the room stayed with me the whole time helping me to choose the perfect dress and find some amazing accessories. She was super helpful in telling me what kinds of things were popular in the 20's. I know for a fact that I would not have walked out of that store with the perfect ensemble without this help. If you are in need of any kind of costume this is the place to go. If you are just in a browsing mood this place is likely to eat up some of your time, but I'm sure you will have a great time and will maybe even go home with something unexpected.

This place has literally everything from used to antique and there is always something for everyone there. The staff are highly knowledgeable and very welcoming and very professional. This is probably one of the best thrift stores you can walk into. If you're looking for that one-of-a-kind collectible there is a very good chance that this place will have it.
