The best place for tall/conservative clothes. The men's Stafford Executive collection is in a class by itself. They still know what 100% wool and 100% cotton are. They have blends also.

Store was basically empty. Employees were hard to find for help with the items I was hunting down from their big sale catalog. Finally an associate showed after I had found everything I was looming for--except one item: a vacuum cleaner featured in the catalog for a good price; was told they don't keep in stock, have to order & takes 4 days to get in store. Ended up ordering the item elsewhere for the same price with free delivery to my door. I don't wonder that the once-very good JCP is struggling.

Went in to check out their Foundry selections. Found some shirts I liked, but needed them in Navy blue. Unfortunately, they didn't have the color in stock, so I'll check online or at my next visit. They did have some decent clothes at a decent price, which is rare for the Big and Tall lines.

The store has too much clothes, could not get my wheelchair around to see what brought my family and I into the store. The store was kind of messy as well. No employees offered any assistance until we had walked through the entire store. The offer came from a young lady working in the makeup department. The store needs better management and to be better organized. The lay out of the different departments made no sense.

This is the only place I take my granddaughters and because I work in Jeff City, the only place I'll go to in town to get my hair cut. It is a hit and miss place, I would suggest you don't take the first stylist they give you, I learned that the hard way. There are master stylists and ladies who have been there a long time, as well as girls who have only been cutting hair and such for a year or less. One of the worst cuts and eyebrow waxes I have had was by one of the younger, newer girls. At the end of my service, she gave me her contact information and told me she was moving to another salon in case I wanted to follow her....NOT. The other services I've had done there by the master stylists were done very well and I was happy. My granddaughters who are 9 and 10 are treated kindly and professionally and they are always happy with the work done. I have never seen anyone in the nail salon part and the receptionists for the most part are also hit and miss in terms of friendliness. There are always a ton of products on sale and coupons in the paper.

Me and family took photos at the portrait studio. The visit was pleasant and the associate was professional. I was happy with the photos taken. However, the price was a little on the high side for my pockets. The first package I chose was the digital, with 12 sheets option. The total price was $$254.52. Originally I wanted J.C.Pennys to take the pictures outside but unfortunately MS. J.C.Portrait didn't offer this. Overall, I love my pictures. You know I had to get it because they were much needed. Don't assume that every woman coming with with her two children and a big purse is coming to steal. From now on when I plan to spend 100 or more dollars, I will NOT spend it in Flowood J C Penny. I went into this store in February to order a pair of sandals for my brothers wedding in May. I had returned a pair for being to small, so I needed to exchange them for a bigger size. We put the money onto a gift card to reorder them, that gift card was a penny short so she had me put a dollar on another gift card so she could order them for me. The lady who had ordered them said that everything had went through and that they should be here within a few weeks. After a month of not hearing anything, I went into the store for the shoes. Well they weren’t there. Fast forward to April and they STILL weren’t there. I got the number for the online store given to me. I called them and they said my order wasn’t placed due to insufficient funds! I then went into JCPenney for a refund since they just took my money and gave me no shoes! I was told it would be under investigation and I would be told something by the next week. Next week came and NOTHING. I went back to the store, none of the on duty managers knew anything about it so I got told again to leave my name and number and they’d look into it. Fast forward to TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING and my 12th attempt for my shoes and YET AGAIN NOTHING. They knew about it but couldn’t do anything because the lady who checked us out wasn’t there and no one even talked to her about it! Now 2 days before the wedding they still couldn’t give me the shoes nor my money to go get some kind like it from Walmart. 2 weeks after the wedding I went back in since I was already in the mall and I stood there for about a hour for them to figure out what was going on. I was then told that they would put the money back onto my card and that they didn’t need it to put it back on. Well it’s not the end of July and I still have no shoes nor my money back. I won’t be ordering from them again and most likely won’t be in shopping.

When calling, most departments do not answer phone, and when someone answers, they are unintelligable. Never resolved and am letting order go back to distribution center for refund. My experience at shopping JC Penney's in Jefferson City was a good experience of course there's plenty of parking it's in the mall. My associate that worked with me and helped me find my purchases that I needed was a very caring employee. She made sure that I got the best deal that I could that day. Also while I was there in the shoe department I was just shopping and I actually had somebody ask are you doing okay I told her yes I am and thank you because you don't get asked that too often anymore.

Terrible customer service. The Sephora is apparently not connected to any other stores and they cannot use your Sephora account to verify purchases, even if purchased in this exact store. Received two of the same $49 item for Christmas (1 purchased here) but was offered $7 on the return, even though the item had been released only a few weeks earlier. The sales person was very rude and said "You and I both know this item will never sell for $7, but that's just how the system works". I will never shop here again nor at any other JCPenney or Sephora.
