Beautiful clothes, shoes, sunglasses, perfume, etc complete with unimaginable prices. It's great aid for daydreaming that far away date where you're finally rich and famous and can finally afford Saks fifth avenue. The place is pretty huge and there are two floors. All sorts of designers even ones I never heard of. It's never really crowded or anything when I go there. There's staff around if you ever have questions. Not sure if they have children's sizes.

THE MOST GHETTO CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever seen, the employee just snatched a jacket out of my hand while it was super obvious that I was looking at it! Then later laughed about it with another customer... I am a very understandable person when it comes to working at retail, because I’ve been there before. Decent. Just never had a comfortable shopping experience here, workers are cocky and not genuine(unfriendly). Also the brand selection is weird. G-Star alongside Helmut Lang alongside Versace. And other labels in between. Kinda sucks.

I ordered a dress by Alice+Olivia which I received on-time, however the dress had many defects. I had to return it. I drove to the store and the associate Alina helped me return the dress. The other problem is that Alina supposedly "validated" my parking ticket, which was actually no validated and I also had a surcharge of 3 extra dollars. Alina unfortunately had an attitude, asked me several times what exactly was the defect, so I had to show her twice the same problems. The dress had sequins which were inappropriately approximated in a couple of spots and the dress was missing the slit in the back. Alina needs to learn to validate tickets and acquire customer service skills!

I had made a purchase at saks online and didn’t need the product so went in the store to return it. I was assisted by Xiao at the men’s section and by far he was the rudest and most unhelpful and unprofessional person I have had to deal with. He refused to give me store credit for my purchase despite me giving my ID to prove that I had made the purchase. After another store service member informed he could do it, he huffed and puffed like he was doing me a favor. Someone eventually had to step in to help out and give me store credit for purchase I returned. Even after I was done as I was checking out clothes. I could hear him talk to a co-worker about the fact that he didn’t want to do it... all this while I was in close proximity. Not the kind of unprofessional and unpleasant experience one would expect from Saks. Sorry Saks, you need to get your act together.

Me and my mother went there to return some clothes. I find the workers that were returning the clothes very rude and lazy. Terrible customer service in the men’s shoe department specifically. If you aren't wearing a mon cler or canada goose you might as well not even bother going in. An employee was standing right and front of me and i said “excuse me” and he continued to ignore me and i waved the shoe from where i was sitting to get his attention and he just put his hand up at me. He was acting way too entitled as an EMPLOYEE of saks not a shopper.

This review is specifically for Larry in fragrances who is an absolute love. I specifically buy from him whenever I need anything. He has quite a following for his great/attentive service - he can help with products throughout cosmetics too. Even when I'm in a different area of the department, I'll say I'm Larry's customer and his colleagues always share how much they enjoy working with him. The service in the rest of the store is hit or miss, I would say 3 stars. I've had some great and not so great experiences within the various handbag vendors. The service in shoes is pretty good. The store has great selection and product, if they could improve the consistency of experience, that would go a long way. In the meantime, I'm grateful for Larry!

I was looking for a dress in a certain material and after we had a few exchanges she said she could help me, but then asked me to wait for her to ring up a customer (of which she clearly wasn't assisting). I sat directly to the right of the checkout counter and when she finished, she walked directly to the back of the store without saying anything to me. Rated Best of Boston for ladies shoes (really?) - I headed to Saks thinking I might be able to find a decent pair of wedding shoes... I walked by no less than two (not busy) shop assistants neither of whom bothered to ask me if I needed any assistance. In fact I'd say they actually AVOIDED eye contact with me. I had to approach someone and ask for help. It was obvious I was looking for something. When I finally did get some interaction, it was minimal!! Disappointing shoe shopping experience (can't speak for the rest of the store as I left straight after that).

While I admit that the tailoring service is very professional, the store itself and the staff appear overwhelmed. The store, especially the men's section is a mess, it feels cramped and cluttered, like a TJ Maxx during Christmas time but with 100× the price. And the staff / wait times to talk to someone in store for help is ridiculously. I've waited over 30min for a stock check only to find they don't have the product. Beyond that, for the price, I'd rather taking my time shopping elsewhere.

Saks is a very high-end store with lots of designers and brand names clothing, shoes, handbags, perfume, jewelry and makeup. This store was recently renovated and it is very beautiful with marble floors, white background, very clean and sharp-looking. They have several floors for any shopper who enjoy a day of shopping. They also have personal shoppers and tailors for those who do not like crowds. Saks is located in the Back Bay with underground parking, and many places to eat or get a drink when you're tired of shopping!

Don’t ever try calling the men’s store. I spent 30 minutes trying to contact somebody for an item I was told was at this location; everyone kept passing me around and putting me on hold for long periods of time. No one seemed to want to work there or receive commission for potential purchases. It was the worst experience from a Saks ever. And if they are this way on the phone, I would never trust them with an order or an in-store purchase, especially with clothes at $$$.
