She pulled out all of the options some which were not out until I found one that I loved. To my surprise, I left with exactly what I was looking at what I though was all my options! It is one of the most complete centers of department stores. All in one place and not only is clothing also food of all forms and size varieties. There are all the recognized brands and to be recognized in their respective departments, it is not that they are all in conjunction with each other, they are each brand separately even if they are at the same weight. If you need something to buy without going around many times this may be the best place.

It is like a shopping heaven. In the worlds largest department store, that fills a block of Manhattan, there is enough here to more than fill a day. The model for all good department stores with space to browse, helpful staff and, thankfully, good signage to get from place to place. Sales items are genuine and you can rack up some amazing bargains. New York visits almost require a trip here!

Macy's has quality brands in shoes, clothing, jewelry, home goods, restaurants, men, women and children's clothes. Pockets books, accessories and many choices in perfumes. During the holidays wonderful theme window decorations. People visiting New York always come to Macy's at 34th Street and Seventh Avenue. It is worth the trip. During the Christmas Season the decorations inside the store is spectacular. It is an experience not to be missed. The workers are professional and helpful. They are also very well dressed.

Disappointing redo of the store. Top floor section named Backstage I think feels like a low end discount store, with poor organization and long racks of mismatched items. Complete with winding back and forth checkout area lined with junk food. No sales people in evidence. Entire store was understocked and understaffed. Not the Macy's I am used to.

NEVER EVER EVER going to order furniture from this store again! AVOID! I will be sure everyone I know, knows not to order furniture from here again. We ordered expensive furniture and spent $200 on delivery services. We were promised a whole list of services including vacuuming and moving other furniture around. We have this proof in our email. Upon arrival these movers claimed they "could not carry the furniture" up our stairs. Meanwhile Ashley furniture had successfully done this just weeks before with BIGGER furniture than this set. So we knew they were just lying to us. They were lazy or crunched for time and did not want to finish the job. My fiance tried to help them by having them come through the back door but they still refused. They delivered half our furniture and while doing so, messed with our security camera so it could not monitor them. Then when my fiance told them to at least leave the furniture behind, they called him crazy, yelled at him and drove off with the rest of our expensive furniture STILL IN THE TRUCK! They literally couldve left it there with us at the very least but they drove off with our furniture, confiscating this new property of ours from us. While trying to resolve this issue, Macy's was no help and did not give us any information about them. My fiance took off work for this delivery and due to the laziness and unprofessionalism of this company, we now have to wait another week and take off more work to receive our furniture. The furniture that had already arrived at our house that they refused to let us keep. We only got 10% off our order for a large problem. NEVER COMING BACK! I wouldnt give this one star if I could.

This is a multi-level and huge store. The thing that I really liked about this store is that it well organized, the staff especially at the entrance is well trained to guide customers. The store is well equipped with restrooms, places to sit and also a small food court in basement. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot.

I found a few things I liked in my size, but what was the most disappointing is that the store looks absolutely horrible, to put it nicely... It needed to be updated about 10 years ago... The store looks dirty and unkept. The fitting rooms are an absolute joke.. they still have ashtrays in them but are now used to collect already chewed gum apparently.. the floors are disgusting and filthy. Not to mention I was never acknowledge by any of the many employees just standing around.. when I needed help in a certain department.. they didn't have anyone working in that area and apparently nobody else could help me.. I've worked for a big brand retailer in the past and I know what goes on and I'm more than understanding.. but this place needs help.. I feel like they have given up and it shows. The most helpful employee was the customer service lady who did my return after I realized my purchase was damaged after I got home.

The customer service is awful. Be prepared for long wait times and avoidance behaviors. They love to transfer and drop calls. I usually have to call multiple times to resolve a single issue. One of the calls, I was left on hold for 30 minutes and then the call was dropped. They are excellent at pretending to address the issue without actually fixing anything.

I went in to try on suits before buying one online. Claude Abbott (the suit guy) came over to ask if I needed any help. I informed him that I was going to be buying from the Macy's website because of the online sale. Claude, knowing that he wasn't going to get a sale from me, still took the time to help me find the correct size and style for me. He wrote it down on a card so that when I got home I could easily track down what I needed. He was very professional and incredibly friendly the entire time. He made me feel valued even though he knew he wasn't directly making a sale. I ended up buying not one, but two suits online from Macy's later that night. All thanks to Claude.

I went in looking for a medium sized handbag, not too expensive. Went to the main floor first and saw all the beautifully designed designer bags. They were priced too high for me. Went down stairs and spotted in the far corner, "Last Acts" reduced bags, mostly summer but some autumn colors. Found the right size and the right price! There's a bar code scanner to check the price before heading to the cash register. Yayy!!

I love shopping at Macy's, but they need to update/renovate the stores. They are starting to become dirtier, some of the store furniture is filthy and torn. It's not as upscale, clean and inviting as it used to be. Some of the staff are not helpful, while others are eager to please. Depending on the day, it can be hard to find an associate in many departments.

It was so much fun to be here with them showcasing bunch of electronics on the first floor like under water scooter and that was fun. Food court is good but waaayyy to expensive. Nice and organized. Staff is very ambitious. As I entered I heard someone yell, " Hello, welcome to Macy' can I help you?" I had to look for the person. I saw her as she waved me down. I shook my head no and headed to where I was going. That stood out to me to date. I'm glad she was eager for me to see her but she was so far in the distance it made me feel awkward. I like the way the young lady helped me promptly with no disregard to anything when I actually made it to where I was going, she followed through and made sure I addressed what I came to address Macy's. She was remarkable.

Last of the great big department stores, just like downtown Marshall Field's in Chicago, which is now a Macy's also. But the store looks a lot nicer than the Marshall Field's Macy's in the loop in Chicago. Clearly this one has higher end clientele. food options are about like any department store although there are a couple of upscale choices, but most are geared just for lunches for those who work at the store and those who work in the area or are shopping at the store. The oldest of the building is fantastic and I love that they continue to preserve, probably at great cost, the old wooden step escalators that certainly date back to the 20s or so, and give the feel of old time shopping which I'm not too old to remember, back when you would go to one big department store and get a lot of things you needed in one big long trip that you might even make a day of. only negative here is a problem that's true with every Macy's in that is that they outsource things like shoe departments and maternity departments and about half of the department's at least so that Macy's is really just a mall of sorts with lots of other vendors handling the purchase transactions and supplying the stock for a particular department, and Macy's itself is no longer buying everything through its own team and marketing it within the stores by its own team. This affect how you can use certain Macy's star points and bonus dollars and crucially it affects a heck of a lot of the big discounts which then only apply to sections of the store that are run by Macy's itself, or maybe occasionally will apply to one of the outside vendors that happens to be on the Macy's check-out point of sale system. Anyway, that's what Macy's has to do to survive and keep that beautiful old store open so I guess I shouldn't whine too much but that's why Macy's isn't getting five stars. Probably things will never be the same again so probably department stores will never be what they should be and frankly that may just mean that they will never get five stars. It's really too bad. But I think this is the best you can do for an old huge store that has kept its place in the city and has not become run down, and even occasionally has a good deal or three.

The manager Lisa is the worst customer service representative I've ever had the displeasure of working with. I will be filing a report on her. I had a problem with my Fossil watch that I had purchased there but I did not have my receipt she treated me like I didn't even exist. It is amazing. The store has woden escalators which is amazing to see. The store is huge and has many stories. Nicely decorated and organized. Go around and see even if you don't buy anything. How fortunate we were to see the Flower Show during our visit to NYC. We did not know about this incredible event until we arrived inside the store. What a treat. To think this event has been taking place for 45 years. The store itself is amazing. The sales associates are so very helpful and the displays are so beautifully set up. I came to the store, saw a Coach crossbody purse and bought it. Only to get to my car to find out it was missing the strap and the care white dust bag. I asked for assistance to inform what was missing and was treated horribly, as if I hadn’t just purchase an over $300 purse. The woman was quite unprofessional and tried to give me a strap from a different purse that didn’t even match and told me Coach purses don’t have white dust bags like it was my first time buying Coach. I left the store with what I needed,but not after 30 mins of arguing with this woman which left me extremely displeased. Tulsa doesn’t have any other Macys so I have to continue coming here.

I went on Sunday for a belt and only took a few steps inside when an older woman with red hair informed me they are closing. I apologized and while turning around she again informed me they are closing. I apologized for the second time and she started following me while saying "we are closing." She was INCREDIBLY rude and I only made a simple mistake yet that was justification for being harassed and treated so harshly. I will never return to this store as long as hateful employees continue to represent it.

Visiting Macy's is like the mall visiting in bad weather makes it easier and more enjoyable when you get those great buys . Purchases within those facilities during bad weather like a hide away from the world and problems . First I shopped in the children's Department. There was only one register open and there was a line of at least 9 or more people. It took me 35 to 40 minutes to finally be served. No fault to the lady on the register she was just one person and doing the best she could and was very pleasant. She did at one point called for backup, and none came. Then I went from there across the mall to the women's Department. I was in line there for a good 20 to 30 minutes, at this time my back was breaking from all this waiting around to be served. Finally when I got served the register wasn't recognizing that I had $20 in Macy money. The girl rang up my purchase for $85 twice and deleted it twice. Then another girl came and brought me to a different register and rang up everything and still no Macy's money, so that had to be deleted. We went from there to another register ring up everything for the 4th time and finally my Macy's money showed up. It was a very painful experience by the time I got home I had a migraine headache and a pain in my back from all this waiting around. Definitely not one of my better days shopping at Macy's :-(

Housewares July 4, around 4pm. The lady in housewares (shoulder length thick hair, medium build, caucasion) was very rude. I basically asked her if I could apply a coupon to a certain set of towels. She was very sharp toned, and said No not if it is a special sale. She then went on to tell me to "do the math" no less than 3 times. I can do math, I just needed an answer. . I told her she was very demeaning, then she went to my partner and starting talking to her about me as if I wasn't even there. REALLY.....we left the store. I had intentions of buying several items, but decided to leave. She needs another job or better customer service training. I hope upper management takes this to heart as I am sure this isn't her first customer complaint. This doesn't reflect any other employees, so the 1 star is for her, since I couldn't post a ZERO

Really beautiful store! I went there during the Christmas holidays. The decorations and the light fixtures were gorgeous. A lot of people were there but the store is so spacious that you don’t really mind. It has a wide selection of different things: clothes, perfumes, accessories, bedding, etc. It’s definitely worth a visit whether you plan to purchase something or simply go for a tour.

Macy's is Macy's, this post is meant as my review of the 2019 flower show. The Space theme was interesting but fell extremely short in that more emphasis should have been given to R.H. Macy's personal journal which for me was the focal point of the show. Perhaps the corresponding images from the journal could have been poster sized next the flower arrangements to dramatically show the public what exactly is being viewed giving the flowers in effect, more context. I also found the arrangements too sparse with not enough of the Macy journal exhibited. The photo booth displays were very well done.

It has been a few years since I shopped at a Macy’s and I was surprised that the store seemed to have quite a reduced stock in the men’s clothing. It also seemed “low end” and not as nice. The tie selection was minimal. After wandering through the clothes and shoes for 30 minutes or so I was never once approached by an employee much less greeted or asked if I needed assistance. I guess they are counting on the online shopping more than the in store purchases.

Worst customer service I have EVER experienced. They would only give me store credit on a return WITH the receipt, when I finally found something I wanted I realized when I got home that they left the security tag on. I tried calling the store for almost an hour and every department I tried didn't pick up the phone, one picked up, put me on hold and never came back. I sat on hold for 10 minutes. I finally just brought the bag back in and had to sit at the service counter for another 30min because no one was around and then they took 20 min with the person in front of me. This was the best shopping experience ever in Macy's. The sales lady went way beyond getting shoes from other areas and staying past closing to ship our shoes to Texas. I loved the experience. And I am not a Macy's fan

ok 1st off dont get the wrong impression about this place yes the staff can be a little pushy and usually ask if you need help about 5 times when your in a certain section or if you seem like you are interested in a certain product or whatever it is you are looking at : RELAX its a Macys! that is their JOB to make sure you are having a pleasureable shopping experience they got pretty much almost everything you would need and expect from a typical department store. the good thing about this store is that it isnt as pricey as it looks lots of good sales if you search around ive found tons of great things here i have purchased multiple times usually on sale/ clearance give it a chance its a little small but as long as you know why your in there getting what you want and arent skepticle a couple of times if you need assistance your fine its usually in general a very good store i think better than the downtown boston location.

Went to Macy's to specifically shop for a fragrance. As I'm shopping for a fragrance the clerk behind the counter never stopped to ask me if I needed any help, until another clerk came along and asked me if I needed help. And then when I made my selection of fragrance, she asked another clerk to ring up my purchase. Which I'm glad she did, therefore she won't receive the credit for my purchase. Left feeling annoyed

I dont like macys. They do well in the make up department but the rest of the whole store seems bare. They need more decor and advertising posters. Needs better shelving and display units for the top shelf brands.... I feel like macys is a first stop top shop oh a Burlington coat factory really... basic shelves with shoes lined in rows.... very minimal decor... It doesnt make me excited to shop. Or excited to keep walking to a clothes rack and searching for possible items to purchase. I will just keep shopping at dillards like usual. Dillards has better Atmosphere... much better. If I am going to spend money in your store then your store better make me feel like spending money.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered some shoes online to be picked up at the store, but I ended up not being able to go to Sioux falls when I thought so I wanted to call to return the order. So I called and multiple times was hung up on or just out on hold with customer service never to hear from them at all. I'd call and finally get connected to the customer service department, they'd put me on hold, and then after a while it would just go back to the home menu. So frustrating! Like theres no way to contact them about anything because no one will talk to you! I'm so angry. Never ordering anything from there again

My companion and I shopped yesterday after reading the sales flyer in The Tulsa World. Our sales person, Claude, in the men's shoe department was very friendly and helpful. Of course the store is always sparkling clean and the merchandise that was advertised was fully stocked and plentiful. I pay attention to sales, and I detest making a special trip for an advertisement item only to be told "we're out of that item", sorry! Not that way at Macy's.

Unfortunately, I wanted to purchase my wife a fine leather pair of shoes but none of the pricey women's shoe boutiques had anything but summer sandals or high-heeled dress shoes (my wife is 65) and I must say I was a put out by the exorbitantly priced shoes which were stamped MADE IN CHINA and reeked of chemicals commonly found in a so-called 99-cent store. If this is something the newer generation tolerates, that is just sad. Quality workmanship and value is something we should all insist on.

Gosh you could get lost for days in this store, but never fear, you can find anything you want, including food. Discounts are really good and every member of staff we interacted with, sad really lovely and helpful. It's well laid out and we visited quite a few times for items to take home. A word of warning, going through the handbags and make up can be a little daunting for someone with anxiety as you get shouted or approached at every turn. Just say No, politely and you will be left alone.

I love Macy's Harold Square. Always have good quality items - trained and often expert staff. It's just a NYC icon and a great place to spend some time shopping. Great basement kitchenware and a nice bar for a burger and beer before stepping back onto the busy streets of midtown. You haven't been to NYC if you haven't experienced this great department store.

Nicely ordered store. Located in an upscale mall, entry is accessible directly from the parking garage, allowing quick in and out if you don't want to stroll the mall. The worst Macy’s store! I love Macy’s, but this store needs some serious customer service improvement. I bought a dress in the store few weeks ago. I was experiencing issues with the zipper when I got home, so I had to exchange it. They didn’t have it in the store anymore, but it was available online. They mailed me the same dress with the same problem. When i returned the dress, the agent didn’t even bother to apologize, she just refunded me the money. I believe a simple “ I’m sorry for the misunderstanding” would had made a difference.

Purchased a bridal shower dress for the bride-to-be at the Peabody store (thought they'd have a larger selection) and come to find out, day of shower, they left the plastic tag on that, if you try and get it off, has ink in it to destroy the garment. Needless to say, a huge disappointment from the Peabody store. Brought it back to Manchester for a return and was asked if we still wanted it. I bought a new mattress at the Macy's at the mall of newhampshire, Manchester newhampshire... The woman whom I worked with Ingrid was amazing!!!.. I went in not knowing what type of mattress would work best for me and she helped me find out what was right. She then pointed out the different mattresses in the type I needed so I could try all of them.. And they weren't just the really expensive ones at that.. Honestly I have never had such a pleasurable experience shopping before.. Ingrid was both professional and very fun.. I would absolutely recommend buying a mattress from Macy's!!!

Inventory and total floor space for inventory down from 2 years ago. No Petite sizes or even samples to look at and order from on-line.
