Would have been great if they had lids to the solo cups to make Jell-o shots for Halloween. Had every cup size but no lids to any of the cups...... Need someone to place better orders there

Large store with a great selection of many varied items. But when i was ready to check out there wasn't any employees at the registers. I ended up leaving without making a purchase.

Dont even get me started on this place, nothing ever priced. If you want to know how over priced this particular item is then you have to walk up to the counter hand to whatever new employee the replacednin two weeks and find out. Always changing staff and aparently cant keep a store manager. Everything is over priced and that makes everything being unpriced that much mlre frustrating. Thjs may be the worst retail store in town

Balloons...Balloons ..to match..every imagination..glad to say shop here at the Ultimate Party Store...especally in Hammond, Louisiana...its the best feeling in there because it knows what you want and have it in stock in the store for as much as you need...

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. Terrible service while ordering my balloons. Absolutely no pricing protocol for pre-purchased balloons. Questionable pricing for larger balloons. Order promised for a certain time, arrived on time for pick up and balloon order was not ready. When calling for a status update on why the balloons were not ready, given no reason. Asked for them to speed up the process. After hanging up, they mocked me and went slower in front of my relatives waiting for my order. Lastly, I was not given 5 of the balloons I ordered and one large character balloon was not completely inflated. Contacted the office the day following, was hung up on. Then contacted the owning company who is investigating. Awaiting a response for such negative business.

Went there for a costume, they’re way too overpriced. I bought the costume and she said they’re non returnable. When I get home, it’s broken. So now I can’t return a broken, expensive costume? Ridiculous

Went there didn't have anyone to help you look for any thing in store the people at register were very short & rude to customer in front if me & when I tried to use coupon from phone to phone of the stuff I bought she said rudely we don't take them off phones have to be from advertisement paper only. I left store upset cause of this.

Horrible business and will never shop there again!! Went to purchase a few items this past Saturday, then proceeded to checkout. The young lady behind the counter after scanning all the items totaling $47.32 accidently credited my account. Then she told me what had happened, then ran the numbers again, but refunded my account yet another time. So what they wanted to do was actually debit my account for $94.64 then I would have a wait 5-7 business days to receive my money back. I did not approve such prior to leaving the store and was told the manager would contact me the following Monday. I checked my account mid day Monday and my account was debited for two amounts of $47.32, WITHOUT MY APPROVAL! I called the store and spoke to the manager, she told me they had to get their money back and that I should receive my soon. This really has me rubbed the wrong way and this business should be closed down!!

This store has an absolutely great selection of costumes and supplies for any type of event you can dream of. The customer service here however, is not the best. Employees always seem like they don't care or it's annoying that you need help finding something , in which case they usually point in some mystery direction and send you walking around the entire store only to come back and ask again. Other than that if your having a party or need a costume you will definitely find it here

Great selection of Halloween costumes in all sizes. They are a bit more pricey than Walmart or Target but WAY more organized. Also a great selection of wedding favors and supplies for almost any party idea. The best selection of balloons in Hammond, but they are pricey.

Warning: Do not buy latex helium balloons from this store. I picked up balloons at noon for a party I was having at 5PM. The balloons were a crucial part of a display for the party. I picked them up in an air conditioned car and brought them directly in my house. The balloons were down and not floating before the party started. It was very disappointing, and what a waste of money!

I am furious!!! When purchasing a costume for my daughter I was not told nor were there any signs posted that they do not do returns or EXCHANGES after October 13th. I tried to exchange the costume for a bigger size and was told I couldn't. I spent $30.00 on a costume my child can not wear now! I will never shop at Party Universe again! Poor management! Also the employee whom I spoke with was extremely rude! Do not shop here!

I went there to see what they had for decorating. There was a huge amount of costumes and event items like wedding,baby birth,anniversaries of lots of things. They only had one person working,though. I had some questions,but there was a crowd,all needing her attention. That's why I only gave it four stars. It had ample parking for handicapped people,too.

OK as far as selection it's a pretty good place for Halloween costumes and such it's also a good place. My one complaint is anytime around any holiday if you have a bag or a purse anything larger than the size of a postcard you cannot bring it in because they're afraid you will steal from them. This is not a joke they have a sign on the door saying if your purse or bag is larger than a sheet of paper you are not allowed in the store with it. And if you buy a costume from them they walk it up to the register you're not allowed to.

The Service sucks... They put us in the dark 15 minutes before closing time. There was no explanation given. When I asked are you all closed or closing the lady said we close in a little less than 15 min. The manager in front of the store when asked why were we put in the dark, and what if we slipped on something, said we should have been warned. Well we weren't , and I will never enter the doors again.. I am an experienced customer service rep, and I have never seen anything like this... I hope they go out of business. I hope the district manager sees this, because the one star is not deserved.

It was kind of busy and I get pretty anxious shopping with the kids in a busy store but the two young girls that helped us were incredibly nice and helpful!
