There is so much fun in this shop; it's unique, it's quirky-- it's New Orleans, in the best way. I hope they keep doing what they're doing, because it's always a new treat to stop in.

This store was a fun store. It's like walking into another world. It's quirky, fun, inviting, bright and unique. Good store for cool gifts. They also sell locally made products. Upstairs is a cute area with sex/body positive art, pins, pictures, etc. If you're in the area, stop in and check it out.

Went in with my future brother in law looking for cuff links for the grooms men in his wedding. Saw some with the New Orleans Water Meter on them, and asked if there might be room to adjust the price if we bought 20 pairs. The lady behind the counter sarcastically scoffed and said, “These are hand made by artist and we would never have 20 pairs. You can try Walmart down the street if your looking for something like that.” I don’t know maybe I’m wrong but I would think that the artist that made the cuff links would probably appreciate the business.

My favorite store on Magazine. A small shop that features products from local artists. They sell everything from jewelry, clothing, magnets, cards, candles, keychains, art, home decor, and other goodies. The staff is friendly and the space is gorgeously decorated.

This place is super cool! We saw a scooter on the sidewalk with a sticker on it that looked like the NASA logo but it said “NOLA” so we asked where the owner got it. She said Miette and told us where to go. What a cool place! All kinds of local hand made jewelry and souvenirs, plus I found a t-shirt with the NOLA logo! Definitely coming back the next time we’re in town.

The most amazing locally owned shop in uptown new orleans. Perfectly decorated, friendly staff, it's like a adult candy store filled with so many beautiful pieces of art work, hand made jewelry, etc. High quality products & Affordable.

It's got cool stuff, but should focus on getting more local artists.

I noticed Miette strolling down Magazine street and decided to stop by my second time passing by. I am so glad I did. If you love things that are cute, naughty, sexy, absolutely adorable, or slightly morbid and glittery you will love Miette. They are a bit pricey, but if you consider the craftsmanship that goes into these items it is well worth it. Well done, wearable art costs a bit more. I'm OK with that. Also, being able to support local artists and women in business is pretty dope too. Some of my favorite items here include: "I'm Your Present" earrings (super cute, funky, original and made from laser cut acrylic which makes them light enough for my sensitive ears). Lashes by Chimera ( I have ZERO talent putting on lashes but I love the look of these). Super Dope cards (I got the "I Love Uranus" card for my partners return home).

Was just strolling by when we saw the worlds dirtiest coloring book amongst the store display . We had a bride to be in our group and we wanted to get it for her. We stepped in to the store and there was this alice in wonderland vibes smacking us right in the face. It got more interesting as we went deeper into the store. The lower floor seemed to be regular yet curious collection of merchendise. But once you step onto the upper floor it takes a more kinky vibe. As we acended they were preping for a embriodery class whose theme seemed to be nude bodies. The walls displayed in hoops a variety of completed embriodery works of various aspects of human nudity. Overall a very interesting place to explore that quiet comfortably fit into the identity of new orleance.

Miette pronounced MAY-ETT Was a very surprising and eclectic store. The bright colors and soothing sounds make it a place to want to stay in and shop for hours. The great staff is helpful and extremely inviting... No pressure just friendly help and suggestions. Candy was awesome. The upstairs exhibit as I will call it is the best of all in the store but as the wall Muriel says... 18 and older only. I will be updating around festival season to give a deeper perspective on this hidden gem of New Orleans.
