I really like Anthro, but I don't go here that often. The service is great, but they seem to have pared down their clothing section and expanded the home selection. It feels like it's less than 50% clothing now, and I wish they offered a lot more. When you go to other Anthros they have more.

As per all Anthro stores, there are many wonderful things here that seem incredibly overpriced. The clothing is well made, and the design is original and fun. Anthro has a large selection of adorable kitchenware and home accessories, if only I could afford it. This Anthro store sometimes runs awesome events, such as a fashion night where their sales associates modeled clothing and went around with free cupcakes and champagne. I wish they did that more often...and if you can find a good sale, it's probably worth the price!

really strange clothes for sale here. some clothes will incite a psychological reaction when i see it. the color and texture evokes an emotional response from me. personally i would not shop here. i do like to see the designs that appeal to others. there is also very odd household items for sale, such as pottery and aprons with bright and bold patterns. this is not my style, i am interested in the thought processes of artists

This is a fun store to visit. I go there sometimes just to listen to the nice music, look at the pretty clothes, smell all of the candles, and try out some of the lotions. Even if I don't buy anything every time I visit,(it's not cheap), I find it's an enjoyable place to browse around.

Great selection, but hours on website are wrong! I showed up at 8:30 and the doors were locked. Apparently the store now closes at 8, not 9. When I called, someone answered the phone but told me I have to come back tomorrow. Disappointing! It’s summer — hours should be extended not shortened.

My favorite thing about Anthropology is the beautiful and ever-changing interior design. Half of the store feels like an art gallery. This particular location has two sections that are off by half a level, which makes it feel a bit like a maze. Explore!

I love Anthropologie, and I especially love this location. It's huge - four stories - and there's plenty of stuff to choose from. The first floor has plenty of skincare and perfume, second floor is fully dedicated to candles and other home stuff, and the top floor has a sale section. They play great music (think Birdy, Florence + the Machine, Mø). The staff is also super friendly here and always greets you when you enter, but they *are* super clumsy. Twice now I've been charged the wrong amount and had to point it out to them. Taking off a star for that.

This review is NOT for the Anthro in Harvard Square but it is for the Anthro online furniture department which did not publish my review. I ordered two white velvet chairs and received them last week. One chair had yellow marks on them, other has significant indentations on the velvet. I called while the delivery guys still inside and customer service was helpful with the return process. However when I submitted a review for the chair, it never got published suggesting that Anthro does not publish negative reviews on the furniture. If I have read any bad reviews on these chair, I would have never bought them. I will not trust any of the reviews on the website anymore.

Nice layout and the staff is helpful. Unfortunately they don't sell what I was looking for. I wanted to get some oil for a reed diffuser and they only sell full kits (bottle, oil, and reeds all in one package).

Wonderful store with a great selection. My wife was able to get some hair accessories that she loved! Fair warning though, this place is quite expensive. A set of hair scrunches will cost you about $20. Be prepared when you come in for this.

My first visit to Boston. Awful experience- was followed from floor to floor by sales associate. Very disheartening. I was planning to purchase the applique skirt in the window but didn't. The only reason I'm rating one is because the clothes are cute. Very sad this is still happening today.

I love Anthropologie and the reason I am kind of disappointed is that this location has the potential to be great. Its in Harvard Square, conveniently located and in a cool space but yet I am never satisfied. I dislike the setup, it makes finding things difficult too many floors and little clear organization scheme. The service as well is not as great at the Newbury location. Yet I still love anthropologie! Their home stuff is great and it's the perfect place to find gifts and a fun dress or sleepwear. I just wish my experience was alittle easier here

I love this store! The fitting rooms are plentiful enough to accommodate busy days and the service is amazing. I am always greeted by the friendly staff, and can always find something that I want on the floor. I also would recommend the sale section. It includes a ton of clothes for really great prices and is totally worth the look.

Amazing, friendly staff, but it's tough getting around with a baby stroller as it's 4 floors. If you have a baby, I recommend using a baby carrier/wrap rather than bringing your stroller. Small sale section, but good finds.

High-end women's clothing and home goods retailer known for its lovely designs. This particular location is spread out over three floors. I very much enjoy their truly artistic seasonal window displays. Parking is challenging in Harvard Square, but the MBTA "red line" Harvard Square subway station is just down the street.

Cute dresses and attire! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when I told them I was looking for a water plate for my potted plant - even going as far as to track down some items of my liking. They weren't too pushy or too indifferent when it came down to what I bought. Overall, amazing experience!
