Well folks I will ask a favor of all my followers on goigle. Please boycott all Ross stores across the country especially the one in Louisiana Blvd..They do not return phone calls. The store manager Mrs. Britt. After my calling the district manager Ms. Wanda and telling her of my most horrible expense and about all my phone calls. She told me to please give her about 5 mins she would have the store mgr call me and that they would get me taken care of.well their idea of taking care of the customer was it is to call the police. Then now mind you I've not been back to the store since my experience. The police call me and tell me not to come back to the store I told them I had not planned on it since Ja wanna called and told me not to come. Please tell all your friends and family not to go. Since when is it a crim e to call in a complaint? Since when it's it appropriate behavior for a customer to be subjected to this type of problem for calling the dm

I enjoy this Ross location, it's variety of clothing in men's athletic, and especially pricing. However, those are what have been factored into the 4-star rating. The one knock on this place is customer service, as it's certainly lackluster. My hope is their management gets to work on it (assuming of course they care), as this issue could cause rapid declines in future shoppers.

I've shopped here 3 times. Each time before today was a pleasant experience. Today I went to go get some jeans, and found 3 pair I wanted to try on. So I headed to the dressing rooms. I work retail and 100% understand trying to reduce shrink. But the young lady working the dressing rooms today made me feel like a shoplifter. Her tone, demeanor, and attitude made me quickly try my jeans on, and leave. I wanted to get a few pairs, but I only bought one and left. Even if it wasn't her intention, I felt horrible for trying on clothes. I will not be going back.

Let me start off with the only positive thing I have to say about Ross in Manhattan Kansas, they have a fun and nice selection and pricing. However, there was a Tornado Warning, with confirmed touchdowns of a couple Tornados in the surrounding area. The sirens were blaring and all radio stations were reporting on it while advising everyone to remain indoors and if shopping, to remain at the business......this however did not happen. Ross employees were going around informing their (paying) customers that they are REQUIRED to stop shopping and leave the store right away. I’ve been in retail, I own a business, and yet never have we ever required our customers (paying or not) to leave during any type of sever weather, specially during a Tornado Warning! They sent someone to talk to us and told us to leave, and when asked “are you really REQUIRING your customers to leave during a Tornado Warning?” They claimed “Yes, you’re required to leave right now actually” all in a very careless, cold, and heartless attitude, like they couldn’t care at all on any level about their customers who were willing to spend their hard earned money at their store, thus helping to keep them in business. They kicked out a mom with two kids, one who looked around 4-5yrs old and one who was easily under 2yrs old, they kicked out a couple elderly people, and they kicked us out, including my pregnant wife and my 2yr old daughter. None of the local businesses were REQUIRING their customers to leave but Ross was and that’s a horrible business practice that you require people to leave and venture out into dangerous weather. Like many of us that were leaving all stated, let me state it here, we will never shop with Ross or any company affiliated with them simply due to their lack of care for their customers and terrible business practices that were shown today. **Yes I’m aware people always say/think one person or even a handful of people actually matter to the company’s bottom line, to some extent it’s a true statement. But if this type of thing happens at one location, then the chances are high that it happens at multiple locations. Could be during sever weather or just sever situation at the moment.**

Such a fun store with so many bargain items. However, I will not be going back after the dressing room experience I had. All of the clothing items have security tags, but they make you hang up your items so they can pick through them one at a time...before AND after you try them on. Both girls working had horrible attitudes and treated my sister and I like we were stealing. The staff needs retrained and the dressing room policy needs revised if you want return customers. I will not be spending my money somewhere I get treated like a shoplifter. What a horrible store.

Well organized and kempt store. It seemed understaffed in cashiers at this visit but staff were extremely nice and professional. This store displayed a large stock of items in each department. Both the home decor section in addition to their garden decor section held eye catching merchandise equivalent to items expected to be found in stores like Pier One, Hobby Lobby, and Kirklands at prices much lower than them.

I like the prices and selections of all their clothes and housewares and even make up. They have updated their art supplies and sets and have added a variety of really rich and high-ended items like pastel palettes and paint markers and even books and canvases. I do have to comment about the ridiculous rat maze they call the check out line!! Its ridiculous and time consuming and there is usually just two cashiers and one of those does returns exclusively.

Great stuff, prices are much, much cheaper than any retail store, they are usually pretty stocked, ideal place to buy sports gear, shoes, or household items, although of course their stock isnt always cobsistent. But after a visit or 2 you get a good idea of the kind of stuff they carry, but if you need something make sure you check Ross before going to any other store. Conveniently enougb its located in a strip mall with Academy, Target and a bunch of other stores that are bound to carry what you need if you cant find it at Ross.

Love there clothes but I bought my husband 2 dress shirts for our recent cruise. He opened one for our formal dinner and it didn't fit. Today I went to exchange them for a bigger size. They were out of the shirts. I got 3 different kinds. I should have received a $26 credit but because the 1 was opened and I didn't have my receipt even though they knew it came from there they said no even though they told me when I entered the store go get what I needed. Both shirts I paid $12.99 each for. She said now they were on sale for $8.99 even though there were not any there and the shirts o exchged for were $14.99. So I ended up paying $41 with my $8.99 credit and taking a too small shirt back home. The lady in front of me got 1 cent credit. Poor Customer Service@
