Unbeatable prices, awesome selection of items. 5/5
Muy Bueno y barato ok para las personas de edad avanzada ok gracias
It's a very great place to shop for goodies and probably good prices and deals I also worked for Savers for a few months Ask any questions for me?
Too expensive for used donated items
There are nice stuffs and some are not so nice. Some prices are just okay while others are just so ridiculously high. But if one takes his/her time, nice stuffs with reasonably price could be found
I like the savors on Gary better. This one seems dirty to me.
Savers is the best Thrift Store.
Nicer quality items than some thrift stores. Good selection. Okay prices.
Love this place.. Employees are friendly..people are nuts and throw things everywhere..great selection of stuff.
There is not much items wise compared to other Savers or second hand stores. Staff were not that happy to be there.
I go early Monday ever thing is half priced I always fine great stuff.
A bit more expensive than Goodwill but nice selection!
Always somthing of quality.
A place you've get to check out for hidden treasures.
Okay. Basically like a flea market without the negotiations. Hit or miss with good stuff.
Good experience
Excessive prices on second hand items that they got free of charge. I love recycling, but with those high prices of "Savers" I prefer to shop at Burlington which is right across the street. Burlington has very good prices for new brand name items. A pair of used, dirty, unsanitized, worn out, sandals for my kid can be priced $7.99 at Savers, while a nice pair of new sandals in Burlington can be priced at $9.99. You really have to be out of your mind to buy those used items at this place. Another example is a used pair of jeans for adults is $14.99 in Savers, while across the street you might be able to find something new for $12.99 or eve $10.99 if you look in the clearance area. Like I said, I love recycling cause that stuff doesn't go to the landfill; but, with those prices of "Savers" no way.
Huge selection of books, kids toys and womens clothing.
If it wasn't for such a cluster-eff of a parking lot, I'd be at this place every week. Lots of neat treasures, tons of stuff you can actually use, and most of it is priced just right. Fix your parking lot situation over there, and I guarantee you'll double your daily profits! Much of it coming from me, I'm sure!
This place is great! The best day to go is Monday when everything is half off!
I just love a good thrift shop. This is one of the most clean and well organized!
If you are satisfied with second hand things, than this is your store to visit!
I donated to Savers and when people donate used items they would hope that the people resale the items at a decent price and to reach out to the people that is in need of these items the most to be able to purchase these items at a reasonable and affordable price. that was not the case as I proceeded threw the Savers thrift store. I notice the high prices, the most stupidest employees ever in life and have you forgotten that this is a resale store you're all jerks what are you running a circus and just hiring clowns?
Love this place its my fav thrift store more selection
I'll give them the benefit of a doubt by it being a Saturday and maybe they were short staffed but this place was tore up from the floor up. Changing rooms full of discarded clothes, toys and other random items all over the floor.
Large selection of clothes. Great way to help others get on their feet. Donations are accepted here.
(Translated by Google) Order and cleaning. (Original) Orden y limpieza.
I just love savers. There are so many different things with decent prices. Not the cheapest but the stuff (clothes) they are selling are fairly nice. 4 stars instead if 5 b/c prices went up and b/c many things don't have batteries and sometimes don't work. Suggestion, if possibly have batteries in the back that the customer could try out the item or give bigger discounts. Either way, worth the trip! :)
Wonderful staff. Very helpful. Much tidier than other 2nd hand stores
I have found some really cool items here.. but it's slowly breaking down. Prices have gone through the roof and the place can be a little disorganized. They'll put a price tag on junk and expect to sell at a ridiculous price.
Go on mondays!
Entre caro y barato
It helps people
You have to respect the person who sets the prices- he has balls. Sometimes you'll find good deals, but often items are closer to retail prices than you'd expect from a resale shop
Yes this is a thrift store and yes thrift stores should test the electronics but who has time for that when things are dropped off in truck loads or car loads. I use to work at the Community Thrift store in East Dundee they test most stuff and throw out half of the electronics donated people shouldn't donate broken items in the first place or clothes that smell like some one died in them but it happens and then these write it off on there taxes. YES Savers is a little more expensive then other thrift stores but they have a nice selection. They are way more organized you just have to pay attention to what you buy. They have a section of cheap cords for electronics and outlets to try them so if you buy something broken it's your own fault. Savers also does have a return policy for some stuff so just pay attention.
Great bargains!!!
Way over priced and very old stock. Clothes were worn out & asking 6.99 for a shirt. 5.99 for something that had an original tag from store saying cheaper. A little bit Leary there wondering who prices these things....
Five stars for their amazing staff, who are sweet and have a generous spirit. Five stars because this place is big with lots of things to hunt for. I really like how the pricing is fair.
1st time visit. Didn't know what to expect. Suprised with a sale on items depending on their colour. Found a beautiful jewelry box from japan that plays Frank Sinatras "My Way". Make sure you have time to look as there is a LOT to go through. Books, clothes, knick knacks, and more. Staff is polite but really have to look for them. Store has a weird grandma smell lol. Which is expected.
Great place. My main thing with donation shops are vinyl records, CD, and cassettes. They did not disappoint. Average of 2 bucks
Pretty good resale shop
Good prices, clean for a thrift store
Love this store <3
They have more seasonal item and more bread machines
Good resale shop great selection of stuff and friendly staff

Great deals
Best Store Ever!
Very clean and friendly staff. Always find some items on ant random day.
This store sells many items that Buyer should be aware. They sell broken electronics with missing cords. My husband bought several clock radios from them...several had broken tuners...others could not be set. Printers that had not been used so in order to use them, you would need new print heads and new ink...you might as well buy a new printer. They sell out dated VCR's with no HDMI. A small TV about the size of a large computer moniter with a missing power cable was also sold to my husband. How could they even know if it works...the cable to replace it was $75. Why would you buy a $75 cable without knowing if it worked. Those should be taken to Best Buy for recycle...no matter how good they might look on the surface. Also, They sold some electric metal power strips to my husband, which are not safe by today's standards. And, I think they have no business selling electronics. Other examples, of poor merchandise...steam cleaners with missing or broken parts. One even had a broken plastic water tank. It would cost more for the parts than to buy new ones.Battery operated phones with missing cables and/or bad batteries....worthless. Here again, the adapters would be half the price of a new phone, not to mention if the battery were also need of replacement. Those things should go to places like Cash Converters who have the ability to judge what is saleable...or just sent to Best Buy for recyle. They sold my husband a beer stein which had been glued back together in several places. Wing's by comparison does not sell electronics. He had picked up some silver mugs that were filthy on the inside...they could not even be cleaned. This store has no scruples about what they sell. This is something that I found disgusting...they sold broken trophies from local sporting events. Parts were obviously broken, chipped, or missing. They ought to be reported to the BBB. Yes, you can watch what you but they ought to be more selective about what they sell. Not a good place to buy anything much. A lot of items would not even sell at a garage sale. In my opinion go to Wing's or the Good Will Store.
You will get donated stuff. You can get some good things in law price.
Honestly I donate my stuff here and they sell it for so much more than I paid for the stuff I find it very ironic I’m never donating my clothes here again support local churches and people that are poor or not corporations and probably take the money and keep it
The best one was in Lombard until it close. This one is the 2nd best. It's a hit or miss on items.
Love the selection of items, things in good condition and prices reasonable.
Love this thrift store.....good selection.but now they raised their prices...not good
Stores keep a large selection of stuff you can’t find anywhere else ,you can donate or purchase ,some shoppers says-it is real hidden treasure Go there on Monday’s 50% off
Good thrift store. Everytime I have gone I have found something for super cheap. On Monday's they do everything half price regardless of what it is or how new it is.
There are nice things to buy, but you have to look really hard to find the gently used and maybe even new things
The employee pam that workes at Savers in Hoffman estates has very Bad manners. when I was looking for a board game this woman( pam) got stuck on some toys trying to avoid me and said: um move I got in this position because of you, move. Also very disgusting the board game also has mold inside and when my sister took it the woman took it out of her hands like if she has no manners.
Prices are high.
Savers is the best thrift store ever, and this is an especially large one.
Everything is cheap
Good Luck finding parking on the weekends or in the evenings, and after you do, you find out that this store prices all of it's items about $2-$3 higher then the rest of the Savers. Rude managers. Also, if you need to return something, they only exchange things, which is fine, but if the new item is less, even by a few cents, this Savers will steal your money. All other locations give cash back if the difference is under a dollar, this one just keeps it.......I'm extremely disappointed that this is the location that will remain open, at least for now.....
Always good finds
This was my first time there. I can't believe the selection. I didn't make it through 2 and was put of time. The employees are wonderful.
Good selection with some great gem finds. Went today on National Thrift Shop Day and found a few amazing shirts I liked. One didn't have a tag, and although it was the exact same as the other shirt I had, the man who was working who seemed to be the manager on duty still wouldn't sell it or price it. It was the EXACT same brand, size, and type of shirt, just a different color. I was happy to have gotten the other one, but extremely disappointed nonetheless. Not a great attitude either from the gentleman. Also wouldn't let me hold it or anything, which I understand but it's still just bad customer service. Hopefully they can do better in the future
Personally I like working here.
Cool stuff
Huge store, organized layout, extremely busy at noon on a Monday. Everything here seemed to be in great condition, reasonably priced and clean. I will have to come back when I have more time.
The store look good, but its difficult to find good stuff. The majority electronics doesn't word.
Store is really messy but the prices are low. Not as low as good will but Mondays everything is half price which is great.
Prices are way higher than Goodwill! 16USD for used Duckers pants.
thrift store
Huge resale store with tons of quality items. It's a little bit hard to see from the street, but worth the find. It's a real hidden treasure.
Fun!
Good place to buy reuse Items!
Prices are getting too high.
Great place to shop, especially on Mondays. Everything is half price!
Very good service, and very courteous staff, especially Sherry M. who was able to correct a mistake done by a staff member at a different Savers location, which saved me a lot of time and stress.Thank you, Sherry!
Great place for random antiques..
I love your store a lot. I would tell all my friends and family members about the store.
Always great finds at great prices! They have days with specials like 50% off certain color tags. Lots of name brand items too!
Its decent.
the best store in my opinion, The employees are very nice!, Especially the employees that go by the name of Hope,Shamar and Jordan
Ok
Now that the Lake Zurich location is closed (which was the best in my opinion), this is probably the best savers in the NW area of the burbs (Naperville kicks rocks and the Arlington Heights one is just barely ok). Still, I noticed the price-gouging in this store.. Be ware... Unless its an almost new, name-brand item, you can get better deals at other places overall. At least they attempt to accept or collect better items than the other Savers I've been to but they are starting to get JUNKY too :(
Much higher prices items than other savers and poor selection.
It's a great organization of resealing giving money to non profit organizations. Good interchange system.
I like it. Always unique treasures and stuff you can't find anywhere else
Never know what you will find
Loved it.
This location has deteriorated in terms of merchandise selection, condition, and prices - suggesting unbelievable greed. The prices have increased significantly in the last year. The Arlington Heights location was far better in terms of merchandise and prices. I saw disgusting shoes that were ripped and seriously worn for $12.99! I saw new merchandise being sold for half the tag price - places like T.J. Maxx and Marshall's sell perfect merchandise for less than half the original. This is a thrift store, folks!!! I also noticed many chipped, cracked, or broken items in the housewares section - including an old plastic box I bought that crumbled when I got home! I hate to see thrift stores that benefit a worthy cause like epilepsy put high prices on items in poor condition - it's a huge turn off. Even with 50% off, most items were a rip-off! In addition, the coupon for donating is only 20% off instead of 30% - I can get the latter on senior discount day, so I tossed the coupon! I regretted donating five bags of really good merchandise when I saw the prices in the store - it made me feel like an idiot.
me and my boyfriend always raid this place on mondays bc half price monday and we love it and like my boyfriend works here and so like hes all "i saw some cool stuff today" and im all like "well then we gotta get over there!!!" and we always come back w a SICC loot of cool things so yeah im down for this place its better than goodwill like dont even waste your gas goin to goodwill when you could legit just go to savers
This store is amazing. My favorite thrift store. Super nice employees. I love this place!!!
(Translated by Google) .okay (Original) .ok
Wonderful Store...so many extraordinary finds and values...oh, Monday is 1/2 Off Day...great book selections
Pretty good place to find decent prices
Mondays are half off everything! I drive 100 miles to go there! Worth it totally!
Savers is okay. I never find anything much that interest me even though it is a huge store. They have a large selection of stuff tho. I recommend checking it out cuz it's different for everyone. The word I would use to describe this place is just it's "okay."
Unfortunately this store closed but I bought some of the good decorative and kitchen stuff here
Love this place! I find so many great things for winter!
Only go on Mondays as everything is 50% off. Every other day they are overpriced.
Nice selection of clothing, household items and books. Can usually fill a bag for less than $15.
employees were simply lazy minded. I couldn't get a clear answer from the cashier for anything! He just didn't care to articulate, or find out what he didn't know. Not looking for department store servicing here folks but pep up!
Love this place! Always find a gem or two every time I go! Very organized, clean, and the staff is helpful.
Great buys, very nice clothes.
Some prices little high, for used stuff
My opinion of this store has been up and down for a couple years. They do have a lot of inventory but what I'd like to know is who the hell the people are that put prices on said inventory. Sometimes I really believe they're high on drugs. While some things are reasonably priced, too many items are over priced. I'm starting to believe they automatically double some of their prices because Mondays are half price day. If an item is old, forget it. It could be a 50 year old piece of pottery that was broken and glued back together and it'll show a ridiculous price tag. News flash people. Just because something's old, doesn't mean it's worth anything. I was in there today after not being in there for some time. Wow! They had some repro cast iron banks priced between $24.99 and $49.99. I heard a manager tell someone else they were old. Even their management isn't knowledgeable. All a person had to do was flip the things over to read "Taiwan" as clear as day on the underside. I saw a broken porcelain figurine/music box broken in half and badly glued back together(there's no way someone could've missed it) priced at $5.99. They are busy but I see more clothes than anything go out the door. It's REALLY hard to find a good resale shop anymore. They're all pricing themselves out of business. Probably why Savers had to close so many locations. Isn't the point of any store to move inventory?
Cheep prices
I really like this Savers,. I dont live close by but every time I go to Chicago, I always go there and I usually manage to find some awesome deals. Toys or clothings are the best bets. Price is not dirt cheap but reasonable for the quality and condition.
Not a bad store. But every time [not often] I go in its more expensive then the last time.
The place is well kept and organized and they do not sell broken stuff contrary to the other comments, I have bought a great record player along with other speakers in the past. The clothes are in great shape being used and obviously priced on how well used. If you are on a budget, this is the best place to buy clothes other than of course Goodwills .
I don't know what is up with this particular location lately, but the prices have been absolutely ridiculous. I am not paying 24.99 for a pair of used boots. I frequent other locations pretty regularly, and none of their prices are as astronomical as these. Not sure if other reviewers just don't thrift a lot, but even for a popular name brand that is really high. That being said, they do have a good selection and are very organized. I will only purchase on half off days, though.
Buenos Precios - y se encuentra muchas variedades
The stuff there was cool like I found my old v tech console from when I was little but everything there was trash.
Bunch of junks, but so cheap. Personally would not buy anything there.
Its good. Far from great. Every time I go in the prices are higher. Its rare to find something that is reasonable priced.
Nice organized store.
Good values
I ALWAYS find something I can't live without!
Decent selection and well organized. Not as busy as some thrift or resale shops, but ymmv. Clean aisles! Which still surprise me. You'll want to spend time and look at the racks carefully to find a shirt or pants you'll like - or you may end up empty handed anyways.
Nice place
You will find everything that you need here.
Clean, well stocked, great quality, love my local Savers!
Great selection
Los lunes de 50 % de descuento son fabulosos! Pero hay que llegar temprano, buena ropa y mucho más.
Nice thrift store, large selection, good prices. Gets four stars because parking is always a challenge, and it's not quite as nice as the Savers in my town (Madison).
Super large thrift store with a wide variety of items from clothes, shoes, knick knacks, dishes, small appliances, kitchenware, holiday decorations, to furniture. Pay attention to the items on the wall, they bundle small items in bags on the west wall, some great deals. Monday's are 50% off storewide. There's always new stuff on the shelf. Money goes to the Epilepsy Foundation.
Good clean ad price is reasonable
Thanks for your awesome customer service. You answered all my questions to a Tee!
I LOVE Savers! I don't shop anywhere else for clothes. Once Savers opened up, Woodfield Mall became dead to me. I have bought so many items that are brand new with the original price tags still on. I have bought Kenneth Cole, Juicy Couture, Aeropostale, Guess, etc. They have designer brands and their clothes are affordable. Their prices range between $4.00 to $10.00, depending on the item. I have paid over those amounts, but the item was definitely worth it. For example, I bought a Juicy Couture Velour Hoodie brand new. The original price said $60 and I got it for $19. Their selection is off the chain! Always have new items and they always rotate their stock. I could go once a week and continuously find new items. Great quality, selection, and value. I HIGHLY recommend Savers, as it has truly saved me!
The employees are super nice
Pretty okay
We can get cheap used items.. not very clean though..
Nice place to shop.
You find cool stuff for reasonable prices and I've only encountered one unfriendly cashier in my experience there. Plus a nice selection of books. Monday's are 50% off.
This store has fitting rooms, and its clean.
Very clean and organized place to donate and purchase.
Awsome price.
Found a great dress and classy jacket for my daughter's upcoming Daddy Daughter Dance at a fantastic savings! $4.25 for the dress and $2.00 for the jacket!
Today was my first time in the store. The tags had the wrong size. The xxl was actually a L and the L were labeled at xl. At checkout I was not aware of the bag policy, and right after we paid for the stuff I waited for the cashier to place our things in the bag, but she just started with the next customers. I asked if we could have a bag and she said we had to buy them. I wouldn't have minded paying for the bags but the cashier didn't even make me aware I had to buy them in the first place. I had to carry my things all the way to my car because the cashier was already done with us and moved on to other people :[
Lots of bargains love it!!!!!
This location is very hit or miss. I rarely go here anymore.
One of my favorite stores. So happy they now have on going 50% tags sales.
Great place to buy!
Pricing is ridiculous.
Great deals
The prices are higher than other resale shops. Mondays are half price but there are no signs about that you just have to know. Once you pay half price then this is a great place.
You can find alot of nice things
Very crowded which is fine. Monday is 50% off day so that is why.. great housewares selections.
A bit over priced.
Filthy! Broken & dirty items. Kids running & yelling in the store. Shelves empty of merchandise. Very disappointing. Get organized, staffed and clean. The Niles location is no better. This was a wonderful place to shop when they first opened. We won't be back.
When this thrift store first open I thought it was awesome, but as time has gone by everything is very overpriced for what is seemingly a bunch of junk now! However, when you first open I bought an old fashion television set for $5.95, the kind with the cathode ray tube but they no longer sell these for some reason!
always something good here, good clothes good sales always
Impressively well stocked and maintained. There was some considerable disorganization among the various media formats (books, DVDs, etc in no order) but other than that it's a great place to do some frugal or superfluous shopping!
Nice place for help
This place is a hidden jewel! Always come here with my girlfriends and I always end up buying something! Got 2 very nice great condition London fog down coats. Very nice place.
