I would give them ZERO stars if I could, customer service is a joke!!! I bought a ten dollar hat and had spent 25 dollars to ship it overnight, but due to weather it was delayed. I didn't get my hat on time for the wedding (I was supposed to be in the wedding party and wear this hat). I called the shipping agency to have the address changed, but Chicago Costumes blocked me from being able to do it. The shipping agency charges $20 to "intercept the package" which I was more than happy to pay for. I called Chicago Costumes customer service and they told me that the weather was not their fault and it was against their policies to change the address after the order has been processed. Considering my circumstances (this wasn't for Halloween or a party or a performance, it was for a WEDDING) if they would help me intercept the package because it was scheduled to be delivered after my flight left, they refused to help me in any way- at ZERO cost to them! I don't call that customer service!! I don't care about a policy if I am willing to incur the monetary burden. Plus, it was for a wedding, really?? They couldn't make any exceptions?? Considering this was no one's fault I figured they'd be more willing to help, but instead they kept telling me no. I will not be buying from this store again!! So I spent double of what the hat costs to have it shipped NOT ON TIME, I asked if they would pay for return shipping and they refused so it's not even worth trying to get my 10 bucks back because I would have to pay about $35-40 total to ship it both ways. WHAT A WASTE!!!
