Excellent customer service! I put something on hold the other day when I was in a hurry and didn't have time do make a decision. When I went back to the store (over 24 hours later) they happened to be out of the item so they insisted on overnighting it to me. I was in the store after close (which I hate doing) and they went ahead and overnighted my entire order - as them of the other items they did not have in my size in the store. Very impressed with the training and kindness of everyone there. Great shopping experience.

Bought suits for a wedding. They were very helpful in ordering the sizes and gave me a great deal with discounts I didn't know they had. We had to get an extra suit at a later date and they still matched the previous price they had given me. Excellent servixe and friendly help.

I’ve been to this location several times and even with normally having a greeter at the door, have not been acknowledged by any of the staff. Workers seem pretentious and are not welcoming, which is a shame as the clothes are well made and appropriately priced. I end up ordering online instead of shopping at the store.

The store is nice, but the service was terrible. They obviously work off commissions, and it shows. Outrageous prices too. Cute things, but buy online so you don't have to work with these people.

I visited this store last Saturday and LOVED it. They have a nice selection of cute clothes, and the people who work here are really sweet and helpful! There was a 60% off sale going on at the time that I visited, so I got a $50 top for only $15! Overall a great experience, and will visit again next time I’m in the area.

It's sad J Crew decided to dump Boise as a location of a real J Crew store. The new J Crew "Mercantile" only sells J Crew Factory items. I visited today. Items are boxier and materials are not as nice. J Crew was the best men's fashion store in Boise. Now if Idahoans want the best quality, we have to shop and buy everything online. Update: If you buy clothes from JCrew.com, you cannot return them to the J Crew “Mercantile” store in the mall. Instead, you have to pay J. Crew $7 for a return shipping label. I had to do this when a shirt they sent was ridiculously baggy (clearly not size Small). J. Crew really should accept returns at stores they own to make shopping convenient and close to risk-free for customers.

"Mercantile", or outlet, as the cashier explained means the material and stitching used is not as high quality as standard J Crew stores. I can attest, you may as well walk to H&M and spend less on the same low quality garment.

The selection in the boise store is a JOKE. If you want bigger and better selections u must go to a bigger city. The mens section is tiny.
