Absolutely disgusting experience with the store and the store manager. I ordered a pair of shoes that were 900. They didn't have my size in stock and they stated they'd ship it to me. I still haven't received the shoe. They confirmed it's been returned but I never received my money or giftcard I used. The only help she could provide is do a police report. Terrible service. They started out in 1901 as a little shoe store and became this incredible place where you can buy the best of everything. If there is that dress or shirt you want but just can't find anywhere else, don't forget about good old Nordstroms. They are probably going to have just what you are looking for. I have been a customer of the store for many years. I love my sales reps and they really do take care of me in every department. I have to say that in that regard, my sales ppl are Nordstrom are the BEST. However, the new store policies do not allow for price adjustments and unfortunately after two weeks of buying a designer item at the store, I find it cheaper at Saks or Neiman's and I am forced to return it to the store because my sales reps are not allowed to price match or adjust the price. I can see how frustrated they get to lose the sales and I feel so bad for them because I know how hard they worked and how patient they were with me. But at the end of the day, I prefer to save the money and I believe they'd rather adjust the price and get a lower commission that lose a $10000+ sale all together.

Very helpful and nice staff. My grandmother, who is my matron of honor, needed shoes for my wedding this weekend. We went to several stores but couldn't find one that she liked. My mom suggested Nordstrom. Zalima (I think that's her name) helped my mom find her dress and the perfect shoes for my grandma. She was very nice. But, we didn't realize the shoe had a small tear. We took it back and Brandon gave us a new pair in like 5 minutes. Very quick and there was no hassle (just remember to have your receipt, they email you a copy of the receipt as well). Definitely coming back after the wedding.

I had a horrible experience at this location when I went in for a purchase. The employees should be more attentive and aware of customers, as well as pleasant and friendly. It leaves the customer with a negative experience making the customer go elsewhere to buy. Nordstrom employees are the frontline that represent the company, therefore I suggest you look into making sure your reps provide the best customer experience if you want customers to keep coming back.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Now I remember why I do not shop here anymore and go to Bloomingdales, and Neiman instead. I stopped in near the end of the day, the store was empty. The majority of the staff were playing on their cell phones behind various counters and displays. I go in to purchase gifts for my family for Christmas and no one offered help. When I approached an employee and asked her for help she said "one sec" then disappeared. Mind you, I was already carrying bags from other stores, wearing a gold Rolex, and in no way should have appeared to be a waste of time to them- she simply just did not care nor did she even attempt in the least bit to create the illusion of caring. I then flagged down another employee, asked if she had a certain shoe in a particular size- she came back said no and that she had to leave. From there I approached another counter and they were too busy folding shirts to even help me- they were more concerned with getting out early from their shift at a job they despised than to provide excellent customer service, which the brand claims they offer. I am not likely to ever stop in this store again because the service is THAT BAD. Now mind you, I would imagine this location should offer the best customer service considering it is located in one of the most affluent areas in the country with customers having nearly unlimited amounts of expendable income, but the service was non-existent and absolute rubbish. I left and made one sales girl at Neiman Bal Harbour very happy.

I went online to order a pair of shorts for Valentine’s Day for my husband – but ONLY if there was guaranteed delivery by 2/14/19. Nordstrom’s had a lovely pair, in my husband’s size, with guaranteed delivery by today (Valentine’s Day) for an additional $20 in shipping. I’ve been a faithful customer of Nordstrom’s for more than 20 years. I felt confident that if Nordstrom offered a guaranteed delivery for Valentine’s Day, I would receive the shorts in time to give them as a gift to my husband. I looked for the package to arrive throughout the day. Nothing. Finally, it was time to go out for our Valentine’s Dinner, but there was nothing. I thought for sure it would be there when we returned home… but still no package. So I went online and started a chat with Nordstrom’s customer service to see when the shorts would arrive. I was told (repeatedly) that the customer service representative was very sorry, but the shorts would not arrive until 2/15/19. They offered to refund the 1-day shipping charge (very nice, considering they were not going to deliver them in 1 day). I said the shorts were of no value as a Valentine’s Day present on the day after Valentine’s. I asked for the order be canceled and that I be given a complete refund. The representative continued to be very sorry, but it was impossible to cancel the order. She went on to say that I could take the shorts to the post office and have them shipped back to Nordstrom’s and that I would receive a refund. Or, if I preferred, I could take the shorts to the nearest Nordstrom’s – 2 hours’ drive round trip – to return them. In either case, Nordstrom’s would ensure a credit back to my card… in 3 – 5 business days. Say, what? I pointed out that it did not take 3 – 5 business days for Nordstrom’s to charge my card – it happened immediately! Why was it going to take 3 to 5 days to give me a credit? My husband just came back from walking our dogs and we are going to exchange gifts – only his gift will be a Valentine’s card and I will have the fun of getting his gift together when it arrives and mailing it back to Nordstrom’s. This is incredibly poor customer service for what is supposed to be a premium brand.

I went to the Aventura Nordstrom with my boyfriend as he was going to buy me Clinique products. I was interested in a moisturizer - smart night. The sales associate at the Counter proceeded to tell me that the product was not for me as for my skin I needed something stronger like the repair wear uplift or sculpting cream to lift my skin. I was absolutely horrified at how rude this woman was. She continued on by telling me that it was more for her skin because she was in her forties - and her skin did not look so good, and she looked older than her forties. I asked her if because I was in my fifties did that mean I could not use the cream she uses. I believe that my skin is in pretty good shape and I have never had anyone ever say something like that to me before. I found her to be beyond rude, insulting and inappropriate and I will never shop in the cosmetics section of the this store again. I think this Clinique sales associate needs intense training or maybe needs to work where she doesn’t have to talk to prospective customers.

I came in last week to buy my Mac foundation and there was nobody there. I walked around for a good 5 minutes until I found a manager named Britney. Boy was she rude. Instead of her helping me she tried to get someone else to help me who was already with a customer. I dont know if it was because I was black but I dont understand why they have managers with no customer service. Such a joke!!! I ended up leaving and going to Macys because Nordstrom is known for customer service but this place is a joke. She talked very sarcastic to me and acted as if she hated her job!!!!
