Sale prices are misleading. Don't find out actual price until at register due to misleading color tags. Could use one of those stations like Walmart has where you can check the price before getting to the register and asking them to scan it.

Usually can find quality things to buy here but not enough employees. Waited in the online pick up line for quite some time. Also, needed help with something and there was not one employee around to help nor any cashiers. I will add that the employees working the online pickup desk was very friendly and nice.

Words Worth Writing

JCPenney (Westfield Mall at Countryside) is the least appealing, least attractive retailer at the mall. It looks like a poor-man's department store with cheap, loud, poorly displayed items, with many racks/bins often in disarray. Their store planners need to spy on Dillards. Their staff isn't as helpful as other retail clerks in other big retailers and their design has the bargain-basement look.

Had the front light stolen from our car in the JC Penny parking lot during the afternoon while shopping in their store this afternoon. Folks were not helpful when asked about security film: informed nobody in security office. Referred us to call their security department, we did numerous times and no answer. Understand that it's not their responsibility of what happens on their property. Their service attitude regarding the incident was not professional.

Great place to shop! I find that JCPenney has quality, long lasting clothing for a good price. For example, I've bought polo shirts there that are still wearable after a year. On another note, if you're into the "Harry and David" brand, visit this store during the Christmas season and you'll find some yummy treats from this brand.

Been going to JCP since I was a kid. Quality is better than Walmart and carry descent name brands. Prices are reasonable when there is a sale. Just spent two hours looking for a suit. Ended up buying TWO for around $100. I like the JF Ferrari brand as they are slimming, modern fit, descent quality and reasonably priced. I however, got a steal because we had to rummage through rack after rack to find matching materials. The organization is a fluster-cuck and got a 50% off coupon mystery deal.

They recently got rid of furniture and appliances so there's a lot of empty space throughout the store. They also downsized (tremendously) in the youth plus department. JCP was my go-to for my daughter's clothes, if they get rid of the plus department I don't know what I'll do

JCPenny, why do I have to find someone to help me at a check out counter? Now other customers cannot check out and the cashier has no product knowledge to help and instead of finding someone who can help me they just leave? Then, there’s 1 product left in stock but no where to be found? So the response I get is that means they don’t have it.. called 2 other stores... on hold for 20+ min, and hear they have 1 in the system but probably means they don’t really have it? What kind of system keeps one product in the system inventory but not in store? And why does it take me 10 tries to get an employee to answer the phone? Do you have a policy that phone calls are not important? Horrible customer service, horrible use of inventory management and horrible experience for a customer.

Very little left on shelves in some areas. The canned music was shriekingly young-centered. The Ladies restroom had broken fixtures and cheaply repaired missing hardware. Sad. But worst of all. NO sales help and the ONE checkout island was nearly impossible to find. JCPenney, I feel terrible for you, but you're failing. *sniff* Come back! Come back!

I haven't been here for years! This week I came in to look for storage cubes to match what I thought might have come from here. I found the 1st level very sparce, warehouse looking and hard to navigate. Not only could I not find the cubes, I had a very hard time finding the price on all of the products I looked at. There weren't signs on the shelves or easy to find tags. There were no staff to be found and I had a very hard time finding the check out counters. My experience was disappointing and leaves me unmotivated to visit anytime in the near future.

I took my son for some new shoes since he had a gift card. A good variety of Nike shoes to choose from. Prices looked competitive. Seemed like every pair he liked the style of didn't have his size. Finally found one after some time. Then went for socks which were a little on the expensive side. It was $20 for a pack of Nike socks with a second half off. The Hanes were priced way above competitors prices and he liked the Nike wicked sweat away so went with 2 packs. Total $78 for shoes and socks.

JC Penney, like several other retailers are probably in trouble. Inventory levels are low. Selection is poor. One of their cashiers said they are in bad shape. Not a decent shopping experience. Seems these stores are forcing us to shop on line.

September 14 2019 it is the first time my husband and his brother experience a racist profiling at JCPenneys on 19th North Highway. My brother went in the store with my husband to do a even exchange of men Nike merchandise. The merchandise was ordered a couple weeks ago and it was the wrong size. My husband went to this JCPenney's without the receipt. Attempted to do an even exchange. The female at the register call the manager over name Dino. My husband explained the situation to him and stated I have my JCPenney's card and I can provide you my driving license can you please look up the receipt. The manager refused he was loud and combative. My husband requested another manager to come over there he refused. After numerous of times my husband explain the situation again. also told him that he observed him ringing up a customer before him without a receipt and allowed the customer even exchange and change a price on Nike merchandise. My husband said this statement made this individual mr. Dino more upset. My husband stated he inform Dino that he will go to his car to look for receipt. When my husband left the store to retrieve the receipt Mister Dino turn to the cashier and told her he is a big black dude he probably stole the merchandise and need the money to go get drugs. My brother overheard the conversation told my husband when he came back in the store. My husband requested a new manager a female came up there he was very distraught. I told him to keep his cool explain the situation , request new manager provide credit card and his driver license to the new manager. A lady named Gladys assist my husband with this problem. she was wonderful understanding and she resolved the issue. She apologized for the gentlemen's behavior and will speak to him about this incident This is not the first time I have experienced racism by this gentleman mr. Dino and my friends calling corporate doesn't do anything because all them stick together we need to boycott go to the NAACP. Also video tape the incident and put on Facebook. This behavior is unacceptable but when 2019 racism is alive and managers are allowing this Behavior

This JCPenney's has gone downhill a little bit in regards to the men's department. I wear size 17 and a half 36/37 shirts. This store used to be my go-to for a great selection of nice styles. I used to be able to find a shirt in my size and almost any style that they had. This is no longer the case. I spent about a half an hour looking for shirts in my size. I never saw a single employee in the men's department. I did eventually find two shirts that I liked. But overall left the store feeling pretty disappointed.

I ordered from Penneys a 70.00 pair of sneakers and their made like a 20.00 pair of shoes. When they came the box was mangled. No arch support for that amount of money. Very disappointing.

Good size store with a great selection - we were looking at curtains and they had plenty of options to choose from. I usually prefer to see and touch curtains/sheers before buying them online since they can be quite different from what they look like on screen. Staff helpful and pleasant.
