My experience was nothing less of amazing! They had a great selection of plus sized wedding gowns which can be really hard to come by! I was catered to the entire time and loved the little fitting room/reveal room for my family and I. The entire shop as well, has a small yet welcoming boutique vibe!

I had THE best wedding dress shopping experience here. The girls were wonderful... so patient and friendly, they were reassuring and so positive but it didn't seem fake at all. I was a little nervous walking in because it didn't appear to me that there was very many dresses there, but after trying on about 10 it was clear to me there was more then enough. The 3rd dress I tried on was the one and they even had the perfect jewelry and headband to go with my dress. I special ordered a belt and my look will be perfect! All of the dresses seemed brand new, you couldn't even tell that they were tried on before. I really appreciate the fact the women that worked there were NOT your typical sales people being pushy. They made me feel so special and comfortable. It is worth your while to head down to The Dress Matters and find your dream dress!

I purchased my dress last September! The Boutique is beautiful and they have a great selection of dresses that are really affordable. I will be using their seamstress for my alterations as well. Debbie and her staff are incredibly responsive and helpful. I recommended that another friend go to The Dress Matters and she bought her dress there as well!

A little over a year ago I got my MOH dress for my sisters wedding. I went about a month ago to get it altered for the wedding and had by far the worst experience I ever had with their seamstress. She was pulling fabric and sticking safety pins everywhere and asking me for validation if what she was doing was "okay". I expressed that I didn't think she knew what she was doing and then she proceeded to scream in my face. My sister and I took the dress to a different and more competent seamstress. As a result of what the seamstress at The Dress Matters did, I had pulls all over my dress. I later then read their reviews and the owner has consistently commented on each review that "this is not a customer of The Dress Matters". Well, I am here to say I sadly gave them my business and as I walked out of the bridal boutique that day an employee in the office saw me walk away without asking if everything was okay and what she could do to help I very much advice against anyone doing business with them in the future.

I purchased my wedding dress 2 months ago and could not be happier with my dream dress - as well as my experience there! I had a horrible experience shopping at another shop right before my visit so I was nervous. I'm so happy that I found the dress Matters! Madelyn worked with me to find the perfect dress. She was very friendly & helpful. They had a great selection of gorgeous dresses with reasonable pricing! I had already ordered my veil and will most likely go back for some jewelry. Last summer, I went to The Dress Matters to shop for wedding gowns. I had an amazing time with the staff while trying on dresses that would fit my tastes. Going with my mother was definitely a happy experience. We thought of my grandmother who would have also enjoyed it as well. I thought I going to do the usual store-hopping for choosing the perfect dress, but I was overjoyed with what I found at The Dress Matters. I was so happy that I didn't have to go anywhere else. Luckily, the store is located just 3 minutes from my house. Even if you're close by or not, The Dress Matters is a must visit. The shop has so much variety of styles for bridal, prom, and bridesmaids dresses. I believe anyone who shops here will find what they're looking for. Especially with the helpful and kind staff, you will definitely have a great time finding the perfect dress.

I can't speak highly enough of the Dress Matters. The staff aren't pushy which made me feel comfortable to take my time and move at my own pace. Debbie, the store owner, was actually my consultant for the first visit and she was so patient with me and let me try on as many of the dresses as I wanted even though it was clear the third dress I tried on was my dress. It was just a good experience that left me with a good feeling. The dresses were gorgeous and definitely affordable. Not only this, but my dress came in three months early! I never write reviews, but this was such a good experience and for such an important day that I took the time. Go to the Dress Matters!

I ordered a bridesmaid dress from The Dress Matters at the end of February. When I finally received the dress in September, I went to take it in and get it altered, as it was a one-shoulder dress and the shoulder strap was too tight. My tailor immediately pointed out that he could tell that the dress had already been altered. The stitches on the shoulder strap are a mess with frayed pieces sticking out, and there is no additional fabric left to work with. I was very obviously sold a dress that had already had alterations made to it. When I spoke with Debbie, the store owner, she was completely unwilling to give me a refund or help me in any way. Her response was, "The designer runs small," which doesn't solve the problem as the rest of the dress fits perfectly. That information would have been really nice to know when her employees took my measurements when I originally ordered the dress. I asked for the suppliers contact information so that I may take this issue up with the dress supplier and have yet to hear from her. I would never recommend this boutique. Thank god this only happened to a bridesmaid dress and not a bridal gown. I've ordered bridesmaid dresses several times in the past and have been a bride myself, and I've never run into an issue like this. Terrible customer service, shady owner, all around bad experience and waste of money.

I came to The Dress Matters for alterations after a not so nice experience I had at another bridal shop on the main line. If I hadn't already purchased my dress at the other shop I definitely would have bought it from here, they have a great selection of designer dresses and affordable dresses too! Every time I come in for a fitting I look at all of the pretty dresses. Deanna is wonderful and patient! The owner Debbie is so sweet and the seamstress Mehta is amazing. My dress looks perfect and fits me so well. The shop is very cute and intimate. I look forward to coming in for my fitting appointments because everyone there is so nice. If I had to do it all over again I would shop for my dress here. I will refer my friends here when/if they get engaged.

Got my Mori Lee wedding dress here. I'm still waiting for the dress to arrived, but the service at The Dress Matters was great! they have a little room where my mom could be waiting and they help me try on as many dresses as I wanted, without being to "pushy" to get something right away. Update: my dress and sash arrived on time and the service was very good through the whole process, I even did my alterations there too.

Although ultimately I did not purchase my wedding dress at The Dress Matters, the women who work there are down to earth, no-pressure and honest. Other dress shops tell you that every single dress looks great - the women here felt like family and told you if the dress looked 'off'. The environment is 100% comfortable and I would certainly recommend anyone to look here during their wedding dress search.

I have been to The Dress Matters twice already. One afternoon I walked in and tried on a few dresses. Although it was busy, the staff was very accomodating and friendly. When I got more serious about dress shopping, I made an appointment. Laura helped me and she was great! She was friendly and helpful. All the staff was very nice and made the appointment comfortable and a very positive experience. Laura has a great eye; She pulled a few dresses for me that I wouldn't have thought of. She didn't rush me through anything, and didn't pressure me at all. I have appointments at 2 other shops. but have a feeling I will be calling Laura back to order a dress she chose for me! Highly recommend this shop. I was looking for a designer gown in my budget, and they had many options. Great selection, and excellent customer service!

Went with the bride to try on dresses for a 4:15 appointment. We were not seen until 5:00, another group was squeezed in and we were put on hold. All we kept hearing was "We'll be right with you." The sales woman picked out 4 dresses that didn't meet any type of preference noted by the bride. She provided little information about how to take poof out, add straps to strapless dresses, etc. I was the one who told the bride all those things could be done. Would not recommend coming here.

All & all my wedding day was beautiful. I ordered my Mori Lee dress from this boutique & I feel I was not treated with the same respect as my (excuse my expression)white counter parts as if my money spent differently than theirs. I did express this with the owner who was apologetic but if I had to do over I'd probably go to another bridal shop. My dress arrived a 2 weeks late & I was never notified I had to call to receive that information & when it did arrive the sales rep was very nasty. I got my alterations done at another shop because alterations are very expensive here, but as I stated in the beginning my wedding day turned out beautiful so I'm happy & the owner is a nice lady all in all as well.
