AMAZING!! I just got my prom dress from here and it's perfect! The service was wonderful! Everyone was very helpful. The women there helped me get in and out of dresses, and even pulled out a few dresses that I might like. One of those dresses ended up being the one I bought! It's a little pricey, but in the end, it's all worth it. They also make sure that no one else will have the same dress as you. Just make sure you go on a week day, because it gets insanely crowded on the weekends.

I can't even begin to express how amazing this place was. I've gone to a couple different bridal boutiques and this was hands down the best experience I've had. Natalie was my consultant and she was incredible. She was super helpful and made trying on the dresses fun, it was like dress shopping with a friend. When i began to get discouraged she pulled a dress that was exactly what I was looking for. I was still torn between the one she pulled and a dress I tried on the weekend before and she didn't make me feel pressured at all, she was nothing but understanding. I also love how they have a private upstairs bridal suite, it makes the experience a lot more relaxed. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

I had the BEST experience here at Claire's Fashions compared to other bridal boutiques I visited! I had a private suite with lots of mirrors, space and seating to accommodate my entourage. I loved how I was able to gaze through a catalogue of bridal gowns based on the styles I was interested in rather than searching through racks and racks of dresses on my own, which can be overwhelming. It was such a pleasure having Dalores as my consultant!! She was very bubbly and truly invested in helping me find the perfect gown for my big day. The very first dress I tried on I knew it was the ONE, but still wanted to try the others just to be sure. Dalores was very helpful when I tried on the gowns and reassured me on how beautiful I was in each dress. She was also personable, as she made my mom and my bridesmaids feel included throughout the entire process. Dalores was so sweet and just as excited for my bridesmaids and me when I said YES TO THE DRESS! Picking out the PERECT gown can become stressful, but here at Claire’s it was a breeze! Thank you for the excellent customer service and I cannot wait to grace the man of my dreams as I walk down the aisle in my gorgeous gown!

I bought my wedding dress here. They have a private room upstairs. They make the process way easier and more relaxing than any other place you will go. The girls come out with a HUGE book of all their dresses. They bring them out to you so you do not get overwhelmed by looking through a bunch of dresses squeezed on a rack. Also, the girl that measured me got my dress size PERFECTLY. Besides the hem an bustle I don't need any alterations. I highly recommend this place.

Had a good experience, though I didn't find my dress. It's not a very personal experience though - they just hand you a big binder of pictures based on the general style you want and you tab off the ones you want to try on rather than work with you to pull dresses that you might like or that would look good on you.

Worked with Diana for my sisters senior prom. She was quite helpful. It was very busy , but she was able to take the time to grab suits for my sister while she was in the fitting room. (She and I have very different tastes so I knew what I’d grab she’d not like). Planning to go there to find a wedding dress, I hope I have just as much luck as my sister did. Time to add more! Ended up getting my wedding dress here and I am so happy with it! All the ladies at the shop are incredible and helpful! Can’t wait to wear it!

Loved, loved, loved my experience at Claires.....Out of this world, one on one attention with a dress stylist helps you with trying on several choices and when you pick up your dress for a final fitting, you are treated with a private room where several people can join in the experience and you feel like a princess!!! The quality of the dresses were so much better than other bridal boutiques I had visited, and so was the service! I even went back and bought my daughter's prom dress!

They have a large collection of dresses and the girls are extremely helpful. The only downside is you have to pick dresses from a book and they retrieve them you can't browse on your own.

I originally gave them a 5 review but after my first time and the experience I had after is the reason for my change. I’m in 2 weddings that are a month and half apart, both dresses were Bill Levkoff and based off of my measurements I was told to order a size 6 and we were all told the dresses would only need minor alterations-if anything and definitely a hem. Us bridesmaids and the bride go to pick up the dresses and I was swimming in it, it was clearly and obviously not right and not one person working there noticed or seemed to care that there was something wrong one girl re-took my measurements and my hip size was and inch or 2 bigger and said they can’t do anything because my weight/size changed.. the problem wasn’t with the dresses fit on my hips. I called there after I picked up the 2nd dress (for the other wedding) which was the same size and that dress fit me fine just needed a few minor alterations and when I called I was told that the 1st dress had a looser fit to it and basically there’s nothing that can be done - didn’t offer for me to bring it in or anything. It took the bride calling and flipping out for us to go back with our dresses to meet the manager she took one look at me in my dress and grabbed the material and said this is definitely not right this looks like a size 10/12——the tag inside the dress and the regular price tag tags said a 6. Then the manager had me try on one of the other bridesmaids dresses that was a size 4 and it fit me perfectly. Unfortunately there wasn’t enough time to have the designer send me a new dress so I got sent to one of their seamstresses to alter the dress to my size and they would cover the cost, when I put it on the neckline wasn’t the same and the top half of the dress was still too big and didn’t fit right but unfortunately I didn’t realize that until we all got ready the day of the wedding and I saw my dress compared to another one. Also 2 girls were told that they needed to pay extra money to order bigger sizes because it’s more material and they both ended up needing the extra material taken off because their dresses were too big and didn’t fit right either. There was so much back and fourth between phone calls and having to go there and then go the seamstress and go back to the store and I don’t live in Delaware. I also sent an email with pictures to show my dress wasn’t altered right and I got no response. I will say the manager was really helpful and kept us informed with what was going on and Dolores is awesome but after that whole experience I’d rather stick to David’s bridal. ORIGINAL POST FROM 11 MONTHS AGO (5 star review): Went here for the first time with the bride to be and another bridesmaid to pick out the brides dress and the bridesmaids dresses and I highly recommend going to Claire’s they have so many different and unique options for wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses. We really liked the idea of looking through the books that had all the dresses. I’ve been in 5 weddings now and I’ve never had anyone take my measurements for my dress to ensure that it would fit me correctly, we were told that we would only need to have the dress hemmed and might need a minor alteration or 2- which I hope is true! The consultant who helped us was awesome, she gave us her honest opinions, suggestions and advice and told us what she honestly thought. She was very helpful and consistent and went over the ordering process and timeline several times. She answered all of our questions and if she couldn’t answer one she would ask someone else instead of giving us wrong information which we appreciated. She definitely goes above and beyond. So if you can request Dolores for your appointment you’ll have an amazing experience!

Yesterday, my future sister-in-law and all of us bridesmaids had the best experience at Claire's. When we arrived, there was a slight misunderstanding, but within minutes the problem was resolved and it turned out for the best. Our consultant Carmela was absolutely fantastic and knew her stuff. She made a usually stressful situation very relaxing and fun. We laughed, we cried, but in the end, not only did all of the bridesmaids say yes to their dresses, but the Bride said yes to her dress!! We took a little longer then the listed store hours, but not once did we feel rushed, all of the other consultants stayed and helped us get sized and pay for our gowns. It truly was an amazing experience and I will be sure to tell everyone about Claire's!! Thank you!!

Claire's was smaller than we expected but they have a huge selection of dresses. They cater to smaller girls but our group enjoyed trying different dresses on. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Dresses were costly so we had to shop on a budget.

Claire's Fashion is over 70 miles from my home in Baltimore, but I'm sure glad I made the drive. I was looking for a certain dress and they were the only shop around that carried it. I can't say enough good things about my sales consultant Samantha! She was extremely attentive and helpful. While the dress I came to try on wasn't quite right, she listened to what I was looking for and found the perfect dress for me. It was something I never would have found on my own. I'm so grateful for Samantha and Claire's Fashion, their service far exceeded the other shops I had visited. I'm very much looking forward to my first fitting :)

I got my wedding dress, vail, earrings, and bridesmaid's dresses from Claire's. I was super happy with everything. It was very easy to book the appointment. I had Taylor as my consultant and she was very nice. She looked at some pictures I had brought and picked some similar dresses. I also liked how they gave you a big book of their dressing that you could look through and pick from. The Clarie's staff was great with communicating with me about pick up dates and answered all my questions. My dress also came in more then a month earlier then I expected. I was very happy with the experience and I loved the way that I looked on my wedding day.

I had a less than ideal experience at Claire’s for my bridesmaid dresses and strongly caution you against ordering their bridesmaid dresses from Bill Levkoff. A consultant measured my girls, the dresses came in and none of them fit my bridesmaids. One girl provided her measurements and her dress didn’t fit either. We measured the dresses and they were incorrectly cut by the manufacturer. The staff requested each girl come back in to be re-measured and seen in the dress (new set of consultants got different measurements) but had to reorder the same dress sizes from the manufacturer so the whole process was pointless. They knew the dress for the one girl who had provided her own measurements was not going to fit but never gave us the option to buy another in a larger size. When the new dresses came in, I only got $100 back despite the girls having to rush alterations due to the delayed timeline. The manager was kind enough to give us extra material for the dress that didn’t fit and had to be completely rebuilt but would have preferred to known ahead and would have purchased the correct dress size. I was told that a seamstress should always measure girls who can’t come to the store but NO seamstress measured the girls who DID GO to the store so it’s just an excuse to cover themselves.

Took the time to sit down and talk to me about what my interest were in dresses. It’s definitely the best bridal experience I’ve had so far. I found a dress I almost fell in love with! Going back in two weeks to decide! Their costumer service is the main reason I’m trying to stick with them to find the dress I want!

If you're over a size 10 in formal gowns (size 6 in jeans) don't bother going. In formal wear I'm an 18 and there were about ten dresses for me to choose from, and they were placed in the front of the store so to look at the larger sizes you had to pretty much be displayed at the front. I was looking for a prom dress and everyone there was completely disregarding me. I was looking for a specific color that would flatter me and no one tried to help me at all. The store is stuffy and they make you wear gloves so "your oils don't get on the dress. " while they have to zip you in and out of the dresses with their bare hands. Didn't make any sense to me. The girl who was supposed to be helping me was preoccupied with slimmer girls and told me that "maybe you should go up a size." even though the dress would've zipped had I been wearing the correct bra. The dresses were incredibly EXPENSIVE and their quality was terrible! I would never recommend this store to anyone, and they should stop advertising it and making it sound amazing. Don't bother if you're not model thin.

Stay away from Delores. She was lovely up until the bride said yes to the dress. The bride wasn't ready to put a deposit down (her wedding isn't until NEXT October) and she's on a really strict diet. She immediately had some weird emotional reaction, and was so unbelievably rude. The bride had FULL intentions on buying the dress here, in a few months. The bride then asked if there was a discount if she pays in full (after Delores was already rude), and she was snippy saying she is unable to disclose any pricing options. She also demanded we deleted any pictures we took. I flew in from Canada to see my best friend try on her dream wedding dress and I am SHOCKED they treated her that way. BE AWARE. Revised: the owner called the bride today and was such a sweetheart. She couldn't have apologized more for the unusual behaviour. I will still leave the review, but overall she was very sweet and we will likely be back.

The experience was very stressful for a young girl who wasn't 100% sure what she wanted. The girl helping my sister was very pushy on what she liked vs what my sister liked. And the prices were extremely high for prom dresses. Wasn't impressed.

This was the first place on my list to look for a dress, but it was actually the second place I went to. I knew exactly what dresses I wanted to try on and my consultant Kelsey was great! All the dresses she pulled where beautiful, and fit my personality so well along with one dress that I showed her a picture of and they had it in the store! I took 7 guest with me they had a semi-private room for us and everyone was very comfortable. I’m pretty sure I’ll be going back to get my dress from there!

My experience at Claire's Fashions was simply wonderful! It ended up being the first and only place that I went to try on wedding gowns. I had 4 guests with me and they gave us our own private room, which was great! They also give you a book with pictures and prices of all of their wedding gowns and then your consultant runs and gets the dresses that you pick out of the book. Much less overwhelming then being thrown into a room of dresses. My consultant was Dolores and she made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. I tried on a few dresses, but ended up ordering the first dress that I tried on. I would highly recommend Claire's to anyone!!

I wasn't a huge fan of how consultant helped the bride. She didn't help her into and out of the dresses she was trying on. She also didn't offer any any insight or opinions on the dress. It seemed like the other consultants were much more involved. A little disappointed.

Sara Davis helped me pick out my wedding dress and she was absolutely amazing! I wasn't feeling too well and I didn't have my make up or hair done to try on dresses. Sara was so helpful and made me feel confident once I realized how much I liked a certain dress. She helped me pick ones only in my price range and was able to offer me a layaway program on top of getting a discount on a dress that was already on sale. I was not looking forward to shopping and was very doubtful I would find one in my price range. I was so lucky to have Sara as my consultant! I'll always remember her and how easy and fun it was picking out my gorgeous wedding dress, thanks to her.

Went here for my first experience wedding dress shopping. they have a whole separate bridal boutique upstairs so you have a little bit of privacy apart from all the prom shoppers. Natalie helped me and she was awesome! She helped explain everything in detail about how the dresses are supposed to look if what you are trying on isn't your size and what type of alteration could potentially be done. I ended up choosing the first dress I tried on! She also explained how the sizing worked and helped me choose the best size to order. I highly recommend this place!

Claires was a nice, clean shop although I was a little disappointed in their Allure trunk show. All they had was a small rack of a few dresses for this trunk show to try on, otherwise it was their normal stock. They do have a private bridal salon upstairs but it was a little small. Especially when sharing it with several other brides. There is only one large mirror and one pedestal for several brides to share so it got a little crowded up there. My consultant was very nice and accomodating and they did have a nice plus size selection but not much to choose from other than Allure. Overall a nice little place with friendly consultants!

I was shopping for prom dresses with my best friend and we had the absolute worst experience. We get there and a employee asked us what our size was and when we told her she said that we were wrong and we're actually bigger than we were. So we gave her the benefit of the doubt and tried on the dress in "our" size and of course it was so big it was falling off us. Not to mention we had previously shown the employee which dresses we wanted to see and instead of giving us guidance she puts us in the back room to look for it ourselves. The best part is that it wasn't there. We were losing hope because not only were the dresses not what we were looking for but also not in our budget. So then a much nicer employee took us to the clearance rack and of course there were only 5 dresses on the rack. Just an overall terrible service and experience:

Second time that I have been to Claire's. My oldest daughter got her prom dress from them and now my youngest has also. The sales associates who are about the same age as the customers were well mannered, engaging, and versed in the stores merchandise. They make you wear white clothes that are provided and the sales associates help you with dressing to prevent damage and so you don't have to buy it if something happens. They were so willing and to find dresses that made my daughter look and feel spectacular. It was a relatively slow night so she received all the attention. But, even when my oldest daughter was there in the height of prom season, she still received tons of attention. Now, the dress selection is amazing but pricey so be prepared. They do let you pay on your dress. Overall, it is a fantastic store.

I went here based off of a recommendation from my boss. Her future daughter in law got her wedding dress here and she told me how wonderful it was. She was right. I was helped by Natalie who was absolutely wonderful. The store was incredibly clean and fully stocked with many bridal styles. I even had my own private room that was beautifully decorated. They had couches and a pedestal in front of a fully lit mirror so that you could see yourself from every angle. My mom was able to comfortably wait while I was in the dressing room. I did not end up getting my bridal gown from here, but I would highly recommend shopping here and having Natalie help you. She was very professional and she went out of her way to make sure that my dress was clipped and arranged properly so I could look my best in front of the mirror. I should also add that they have a huge assortment of special occasion gowns and I plan on coming here to purchase one for the next event I attend.

Bought a bridesmaid dress about two years ago. The selection was fantastic and there was a lot to choose from. The sales associate who took my measurements was not friendly (don't remember who) but she sized me for a dress that was 4 times larger than I needed and the bust was huge! The dress my friend chose had cups already sewn in the dress and my seamstress could not alter that, so the dress gapped a huge amount on my friends wedding day. I would definitely go back, but it was frustrating that the sales girl was so quick to do measurements and I couldn't see what size she was ordering and she didn't explain it well. I had to spend almost $80 to have it taken in so much and the bust was a lost cause :(

Highly recommend! I was able to look at pictures and pick out dresses before my appointment that the store pulled for me, so they were able to see my style. When I got there, they were really welcoming and answered all my questions. The dress I bought, I knew looking at it on the hanger that it was my dress. It shipped really fast and the seamstress they recommended was fantastic.

I was just here for a bridal appointment in Saturday and ended up signing a contract for a gown, but I was 100% sure on the gown so I came back in today on Monday and I am so glad I did. Both of the women who helped me were tremendous, and I ended up going with a dress I didn't originally pick. I am so happy I changed my mind. Claire's is more about customer care than anything, I would highly recommend it.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Went to get fitted for two Bill Levkof bridesmaids gowns. I have two weddings and two different dresses. The sales associate tried to tell me I should order an SIZE 8.. I WEAR A SIZE 1 in regular clothing and typically a 4 or 2 in bridal. I told her no way as I was wearing a size 2in the store! We settled on a 6 and both of these dresses are HUGE on me. That same day my mom spent $1200 on a mother of the bride dress. The same associate told her to order a SIZE 22.. my mom is a size 10. So needless to say our experience was terrible and we spent a TON of money that day. They have done NOTHING TO HELP FIX THEIR MISTAKES!!

I bought both my bridal and flower girl dresses at Claire's. Buying my bridal dress was a dream. Everything that a bride would expect and hope for. I tried on beautiful dresses and found "the one" with my mom and dear friend. Shannon Knodel was my bridal consultant and she was great. My mom had to step in and correct the measurements a little, but that was the only gaffe. The flower girl dress was a pretty similar experience except that a couple of the dresses Ariel showed us were out of our stated budget. We did end up going $30 over budget for the flower girl dress because it matched mine so well, but it still would have been nice to see dresses that stuck within our price point. We got the flower girl dress just 2 weeks later and there were no hang ups at all. We ordered her dress 2 sizes too big since the designer would be discontinued later that month (November 2018). As of March 2019, she has already grown 2 inches so I feel okay about that decision. Getting my bridal dress was another story entirely. I don't know how many brides think about this, but my Martin Thornburg dress was apparently made in China. At the time I didn't think about that or think to ask. I just assumed that it would be made in NYC, LA, or wherever the designer is based. I bought the dress on September 8, 2018. On September 26, I got an email saying the expected ship date would be February 14, 2019 and that it would arrive February 28, not quite 6 months. (The maximum wait time in their contract is 6 months.) I literally do not have enough space to tell you about this store. However to recap: my dress was shipped 2 weeks late and I was not informed. Even though their contract says dresses will be delivered within 6 months, it was 6.5 for me. I called a total of 10 times, and had someone call me back twice - a 20% response rate. I was promised a tracking number and got it almost a week later. No genuine apology from Courtney - the head of ordering. I did get one from Sean, who I only spoke to twice. To be clear I do love my dress, and I'm sure on the day it will all be worth it. Shannon, Ariel, and Sean were all great to work with and I have nothing negative to say about them. However Claire's is not the only store that carries Mon Cheri gowns. If you are coming to Claire's because of the no sales tax - Montana, New Hampshire, and Oregon also have no sales tax. Try those states. I'm sure you will have much better luck!

On a busy Saturday the store was full of future prom attendees when I recently visited Claire's Fashions. I had an amazing experience from beginning to end. Jackie helped me find a dress for two weddings I am attending, one this Saturday and one in April. The size in the store was too small for me but I loved the dress. Jackie called me on Monday after locating the dress. She had the next two sizes overnighted to the store for me. She called me promptly when they arrived in the store on Tuesday. Chloe on Tuesday evening, as Jackie had gone home for the day, helped me purchased the correct size. These two young ladies were a great asset to the business!!!! I will be visiting Claire's when I need my next dress.

Had to help my niece find a prom dress, we went to a few big name stores with no luck mainly due to the small selection they had or the generic dresses. Luckily I found this place on a Google search and we took her here. They have a large selection to pick from and the staff helped her with any questions or concerns she had which was a major relief to me. This is now on the top of my list for any formal dress needs we have. Parking is tight but it was not a problem for us.

I made an appointment at Claire’s because I was interested in Stella York gowns and they carried that designer. Everything about the appointment was wonderful. Natalie, my sales associate, was so sweet and patient. She wasn’t pushy at all and made me and my mom feel so comfortable. I found my Stella York gown at that appointment and decided to sleep on it to make sure. They were totally understanding and was all the more reason, I came back and ordered my dress from Claire’s. The dress was gorgeous and they had so many beautiful gowns in my budget. They also have a great selection of accessories. I can’t recommend Claire’s highly enough. I visited other bridal salons and none came close to Claire’s.
