Always a long wait for cashier, and you can expect to wait over 30min to have helium balloons filled...they seem to run out of the nicer balloons pretty quickly. Other than that it's a large location with lots of options.

To the reviewer below, I've always been asked if I wanted to upgrade. Also, it'a nothing to do with the actual helium. The high float you can pay extra for is a spray they spray into the balloons with the helium. It's supposed to extend the balloons even longer. Even when I don't get that, the balloons stay inflated forever. The weather also has something to do with it, but they usually inflate right back up when they get inside.

Horrible customer service at Yonkers. They put you on hold for more than 10 minutes. They pick up the phone and do the same thing over and over again. We sent the last mail with some modifications for my daughters wedding invitations on the 12th of february and still haven’t gotten the proof. They say “we made to many”! We can make a million if we want, it was paid in full because that is how it works, right? In the meantime, its been 18 days waiting for the proof and all we hear is “the system is down”, “the manager is busy talking to corporate”, “someone just called this morning, a woman, it must’ve been your mother” (i am the mother! I never called)! We are the customers. Without their customers, business do bad. A little bit more respect would be good, don’t you think? What a nightmare!!! Wedding is in june 7th. and we still don’t have the invitations.

Store managers here process your store credit as a manager discount and when you return the items they refuse to give you back the store credit you originally had. I complained to corporate and they will be refunding me my store credit. They even went as far as lying that a fellow store manager was a District manager to avoid the escalation of this issue.

Halloween Costumes is what we went for which we got at a decent cost (it was a set for a couple). We also found dome Halloween cards for this and next year at a great price. For it being a week before Halloween, they should have had more cashier's open and more staff on the floor. It was a real long line but it moved...eventually.

This place is definitely your go to when planning a party. If you're not being careful, one can easily go over budget. A simple fill up of a ballin is $1 each! Pros -Go to place for good party supplies -Friendly, helpful staff Cons - Some simple things can get be pricey - D not agree with the outrageous price of filling up each balloon for $1.

Huge place where you can find almost anything for partys. From baloons to masks, to costumes, to toys, to candies and many more stuff. Most of the prices are good, some stuff are pricey. When I went here the staff was cordial and the waiting line was long.

I've been buying balloons and having them filled at Party City for years. At the new Yonkers location there was something different they did which was ask if I wanted to have a special type of helium used for an additional price thats suppose to make balloons last longer. I've never been asked this before and my balloons have stayed inflated for literally weeks. It seemed ridiculous to pay extra for this particular type of helium. Well, we picked up our balloons the day before party and most of them were deflated the next day! What a huge disappointment! It seems apparent that they changed their grade of helium and are purposely using low grade helium and charging extra for the good helium they used before.

Easy party supply store! I had literally no time to gather items for a last minute cocktail party for 100 and Party City had everything I needed and then some - I bought too much and was able to return the items that I didn't need or use with no hassle. The staff was very helpful too!

Personally really dislike the concept of party City, but if one were inclined, this is a good place. Has large selection of balloons and plastic table wear. Clean rows fully stocked with toys and candy. Interesting store, converted from a movie theater. Staff is friendly.

Store is immaculate and clean and we'll stocked. However they're still getting their footing and staff is very, very green. You won't have much luck with simple questions and they won't even know the manager on duty's names. Solid location, but give staff awhile to learn the ropes. Even heard a phone ringing in the background constantly with no one answering it.

I'm not sure what was wrong with the other store. This is definitely bigger, brighter and prettier, however don't expect to pop in and out quickly. Expect to wait on line needlessly. Don't expect to find things quickly, either. While it's big and bright, it's a maze of 'stuff'... and staff is just as obscure. The physical upgrade did nothing for staffing. I liked the old, smaller PC with friendlier, easy to find staff...

This place is absolutely gigantic. Take your time because the size of the place can be overwhelming and finding things is sometimes a chore. It has everything you need for a party and more from floor to ceiling. The staff is very helpful. It's easy to park outside. Party City has been in the area for many years and always a dependable place to go for fun items. Kids have a great time here. No matter what the holiday or occasion, Party City is the place to go to make that party perfect. It's conveniently located in the North East end of Yonkers bordering Greenburgh. Fun place. Love it!!!

Horrible customer service. Would not answer simple questions about balloon ordering. Fill one balloon which takes 2-3 seconds then proceeds to take a 2 minute break. Told 15 minute wait time to fill balloons, waited over 45 minutes before deciding to just cancel order and leave. Do not recommend this place to anyone. Workers are terrible Just so everyone understands how bad this actually was, this is my first ever review on google.

All aisles need to be clearly marked informing customers what items are in each aisle. Need more staff available on the floor not just behind the register, especially when it's not crowded.

Do not go here if you need something quickly or expect any service. This is the first time i feel compelled to review a store. Selection is great but they are understaffed and not prepared. They don't answer the phone they are blowing up balloon orders as the store opens. Go to dollar zone on central avenue for simple balloons twice as fast fraction of the price.

Went there when they opened, doors were still locked. Waited a minute or so and then they opened them. Got a helium tank... way overpriced (it's about $10 cheaper at Walmart!) I did 2 separate orders (1st for work, 2nd for personal.) The cashier asked me for my email address for the first order and I gave her my work email, very convenient because the receipt goes to my email. Didn't ask me for an email address for my second order which was my personal order - a little embarrassing because I unknowingly got the receipt to my work email account where the whole office could see! Wish she hadn't assumed the email was the same... I clearly did 2 separate payments. Oh well.

Awesome store, with great inventory, but the staff isn't so great. It often seems like they're short-staffed, and the last time I was there I needed five simple balloons to be filled but I was told there was a 35 minute wait. There was no sense of urgency, no apologizing, no real customer care. I literally had to take the balloons from Party City and go down the street to Walgreens and pay them to have them fill them with helium. 2 star review is based simply off the staff. The store itself has everything party related you need!

This is the first time I've been to Party City since they relocated to the old movie theatre and I must say I was in complete awe!!! The place is gorgeous and huge!!! Fully stocked not an empty space on the shelf, Extremely clean, really tall aisles and bright colors all over, which make you feel like a kid in a candy store. It is really beautiful. A young lady, I wish i could remember her name but i think she was a manager, she helped me find everything, quickly and shared party stories. The downside was I literally was in line for 20 or 30 minutes. They had only 1 cashier and several customers had large orders for balloons that they were placing. The associate kept me distracted from the long wait by engaging in conversation which was a plus we shared some laughs. When i first came in I asked an associate for balloon inserts so you don't have to tie the balloon, she said they didn't sell that. But I'm like she cannot be serious as many balloons as you sell that you don't have the inserts. Then was assisted and found everything and even spent more money because the girl was very nice and pleasant. My cashier was very pleasant as well. Thumbs up Party City way better service than when they were located across the way
