Very unorganized and unprofessional. I am the bride and my wedding is tomorrow and ALL my groomsmen and groom have had a problem with their suits on pickup. Everyone was fitted twice and they still got all their shirts wrong and have a problem changing them for everyone.(apparently HUGE shirts are in style now) They called telling us things are in and once we get there they are not. Everyone is driving back and forth to them. I called and spoke to the manager about changing a shirt yesterday and was suppose to get a call back and guess what, NO Call back. This place has been nothing but a problem and i do not recommend.
unprofessional..unhappy crew..except jasmine..they do not stick to timelines, they have horrible customer service...
The weekend was too busy for service but on the weekend we got very attentive service. Prices are reasonable especially when you factor in BOGO and alteration costs.
We had a wonderful experience at Men’s Wearhouse in Totowa. My 19 year old son needed an outfit for an internship interview. In about an hour, our fantastic salesman Hossam had my son completely outfitted looking great. Hassan was even able to get my son’s pants hemmed while we shopped for shirts. All this was done at a fair price.
Decent service, poor selection and quality
Too chaotic during prom they need to staff appropriately!
In town or out I use them!
The owner was really cool. Helped me out by measuring my size and everything. Will be coming back
Had a total disappointing experience here today. Buying a new suit should be a good experience, but a total lack of engagement and customer service by the staff at this location ruined that. My sales person was Tony - completely not interested in helphing me find a suit.
Great service with fabulous employees
Most of these reviews are wrong. Based on my experience here anyway. We came here to get fitted for tuxedos for a wedding. That went smoothly. Until the point when we where supposed to pick up the tuxedo. I gained some weight to o thought i would go in within a few days of my pick up date. I was greeted by a gentleman so I told him my situation and his response was a thing that took me by suprise (note that i paid the full cost of the tux when i got fitted for it) he told me I would have an extra charge if i needed and extra alterations because the wedding was in 7 days. (Now ive dealt with a different MW location and i enjoyed my experience with them so much more.) So i agree thinking okay how mich could have changed. Maybe just 1 measurement was off by a bit. So the lady that took the measurement told me it will be no problem we can fix that when i come to pick up the tux. (She was probably the nicest person that works there and the only reason why i feel bad for writing this review).i recieved great customer service from her! The day i come back to get my tux i give them my id they get my tux everything goes smoothly until i get told i owe 10 dollars. So i am flabbergasted and questioning if i paid in full in the past. Long story short she called corporate and it all worked out. No payment needed. 3 days before the wedding my friend called 9 times. 1 time someone picked up and hung up the phone on him. So he stopped in and questioned them about his tux. He had his receipt showing that he paid for it already. Turns out they cant spell Michael correctly. That does not make up for hanging up or not picking up the phone after 9 tries. The icing on the cake was the day before the wedding the bride gets a phone call "yeah we have a shirt that belongs to michael here and he needs to pick it up it goes with his tux" i do not get how this place does business with anyone. Neglecting phone calls. Spelling simple names wrong. Rude comments. Lacking a manager on duty for every shift. This place is out of control. If you can find an alternative place go there. Even if it is a different MW. This place sucks though
Husband and my best friend needed to get fitted for my wedding. They are both VERY slim. The woman who assisted us was very helpful in finding them the best fitted shirt for their bodies. Thanks for making them not look baggy for once!
Very respectful courteous and helpful I always have a good experience shopping there
Ask for Marcus. Heck of job. Great salesperson.
Totowa store is GREAT.
I'm a little late but I wanted to make sure I put this up. I went to this store with a few guys in my wedding party to get measured up and the associate Dave helped us and did an awesome job. He was very patient and attentive. Even though it took awhile he never lost his patience. I appreciated the way he was though this long process. Thank you again
Went to MW for my son’s wedding party attire. Be sure to make an appointment first to do an initial review. While service was very good, it does get busy in the store. My son ended up with a great custom made suit and his groomsmen all looked great. The one stop shopping was nice. Pricing was on the high side but we were satisfied since the service was good. A downside was tailoring pricing. Since the groomsmen bought (vs rented) the tailoring cost was not included in the price of the suit. Many men’s store will do simple tailoring for free (ie pant leg hem). Men’s Warehouse overcharges for sure. Pant leg hem we were charged $35. Even in NYC tailors/cleaners only charge $15 for a leg hem My fault for not asking up front. This was a real turn off. One of the groomsmen ended up paying almost $200 to have his $400 suit altered. They suggested alterations that were really not needed IMHO. Overall in terms of outfits, you could probably do better elsewhere price wise for the same quality, but the convenience is a decent trade off. Worth a look but ask all relevant questions about pricing up front.
I will give them one star because they took the time for my two younger ones. But all was easily negated as they failed to have both suits ready by the agreed upon date and time. As they lost them for almost 2 days. And lastly promised compensation for their mistakes and our time, and failed to follow through. We will not be going back there, nor would we recommend this store to anyone, in fact just the opposite, we would advise not to go here for everything from padded bills, to poor service, and no attention to detail.
Went here to rent my suit for a wedding I was in and the service was alright but the suit didn't turn out to be a tailored fit. I might have had my expectations too high. The collar was a bit loose, the suit jacket felt a little big however the pants and shoes fit well. The shoes in particularly fit really well.
Mark was great, he was really helpful and funny
Walked in and was never acknowledged by the staff. Terrible customer service. Staff needs to understand that no matter how busy you are, when a customer walks in to the store, at the very least acknowledge them.
When I went there to rent tuxedos for my twins, I was forced to pay a rush fee since I came in 6 days before the dance my twins have to go to. When I pay for a "rush fee", I expect the quality of the tuxes to be good. Well, I was wrong. When my husband went with my twins to try on the tuxedos last night, they found multiple errors with their tuxes. Eventually, one of the tuxes were fixed, but the 2nd tux had to be changed tremendously because of some "error with the system in Dallas". I was forced to wait the next day, which is the day of the dance, without some sort of discount, to have the pants delivered to me. Now I have to wait and see if they come with the right pants on time.
Great suits
Lots of suits, but finding your size and pieces that match was super difficult, and good luck finding staff to help you. Plus the prices weren't much cheaper than just going to a higher end place where someone will help you from as soon as you walk in.
The waiting is to Long but the service it's good
Good prices and great selection on tuxedo rentals.
Great service. Attention to your needs and concerns.
Amazing ask for Barry he will make great additions to your wardrobe.
The day I went to buy everything I needed for my wedding things went well. I pick up the suit , make sure you look in the bag unlike me who looked the night before and realize I was missing things I paid for. Went to another mens warehouse to pick up what I needed the morning of. Went back for a refund of what I didn't get (and they did have them just sitting in the back) and get a refund for what I paid for the original time I went and since I bought enough stuff the first time I got a discount. The stuff I picked up in my emergency situation ended up being more cause I wasn't buying a whole suit again. So in the end I had to pay extra money because stuff was forgotten. Shame.
Quality suits with matching service.
Went with my husband today to buy a suit, the salesperson was unprofessional and had an attitude problem. He didn't seem to want to help at all. If you don't like your job quit. I took my business elsewhere. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
Poor customer service, spent 30 mins in there and no one came to us. The workers did not bother even saying hi or welcome and just walked around doing nothing. Its saddens me how these workers cannot do their job properly
A must visit if you want to look good
Good customer service.
I didnt think I would enjoy shopping as much. Lorraine and Caren are a blast and the staff proved what good customer service really look like!
Very slow service. Over an hour wait for a 15 minute suit rental measurement. One female taking measurements while 4 of her co-workers stood around bullshitting.
Great service...prices higher than Jos A Bank.
Too many old people, and tux section takes to long for so many employees on the floor...
Great clothing and deals for the guys
Great place. I was welcomed upon entering and helped right away.
Love the store. Prices can be expensive. So, it's best to look for website and in-store sales.
Going back to return my suit. Way too much money and the lady told me I would be around $280 and it was almost double. The tailor was kind of rude and told me to exercise
HORRENDOUS customer service. Spanish girl at the rental tuxedos was incredibly rude and disrespectful. She constantly maid rude remarks for no reason and acted like she didn't want to help us or even be there at all. Take pride in your work. I am Puerto Rican so this isn't a "race" thing. She was so unprofessional that we left after about 15 minutes, if that, of being there. ALOT of money would of came your way but forget that! Never coming back here again.
I had great service getting fit for a tux. Was in and out in no time. Very professional and courteous staff.
If you are renting a tuxedo, I would highly recommend any other place but here. Nothing fit right and when I returned the tuxedo a day late they charged an extra 20 dollars.
Rented a tux for a wedding. There's no belt loops on tux, groomsmen were concerned about their pants falling down. Make sure you have to correct measurements. Overall, they were pleasant to work with
Jasmine was great in and out in 15 minutes
Very friendly and helpful with purchase great sales at the time
Even though they have a lot of suits they don't have a good selection of styles and very expensive also..
Staff was very rude and not helpful at all. They kept telling me “no” when I told them what I wanted. The tailor was extremely nasty. This place is an all around joke, I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Nicest staff. Was really worried because there was a wait to get fitted but they still got me in and out in 30 minutes. Can’t reiterate how nice the staff was.
Great service
Horrible customer service! Went to get measured twice for tux and when I picked it up,it didnt fit. So i had to return for a third measuring and they had to order my vest. Keep in mind,It's the day before my wedding and they had me waiting on the U.P.S. man for a vest. On top of that, two of my groomsmens tuxedos didnt fit as well. While i was there, another gentlemen had a similar situation . Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend Men's Warehouse in Totowa, N.J. to anyone that wants a professional experience that is free of stress on an important day such as a wedding,graduation,etc....
Great customer service expect when they are busy. The prices are the prices but other then that it's another mens warehouse
Excellent service!
The store is large and has great selections. The experience was really created when Karen approached me to assist me with finding a coat. She was funny, friendly, and knowledgeable. I left the store with a new wardrobe thanks to her.
Always satisfied
Excellent service, great alterations.
Great help fast and easy
could you please tell me how a store that has countless advertisements everywhere you look about their tuxedo rentals could have nothing but generic try on coats in the store? Maybe they should spend money on some inventory rather than flooding the tv and radio airwaves with commercials that misinform consumers! You're gonna like the way you look? Maybe I would if they actually had something for me to try on!! Nothing beats a mom and pop store when it comes to a tux rental. I would go to a store that specializes in rentals rather than one that treats it as a side show!
For 5 months I forgot I had a suit tailored here. They still had it, wrapped nicely, and didn't charge me extra for the wait time. Classy people
Have alot of products but I feel that the service seem a lil snotty.
Love this place great selection and great sale prices!
Very good selections, although it seems that some of the individuals who work there only care about making money and not assisting the customer looking their best for their upcoming their upcoming events.
Went there to buy a suit from my son worse customer service around the only decent employee in this store was the tux rental girl the male employees are trash they did nothing but lie to me start to finish said they have no black suit sets and then try to force me to buy a 400$ blazer saying that was the least expensive one they carried. Which i know for a fact is a lie i was prepared to spend a great deal in this store but i will not be taken advantage of ended up leaving empty handed spending my cash elsewhere avoid this store
Today I went with my boyfriend to pick out an outfit for an upcoming wedding. We had a wonderful experience with Dave/David (unsure of the exact name) helping us out. He went above and beyond to meet our needs and exceeded our expectations from the pants, shirt, shoes, belt, tie and tie clip. Amazing experience if you need to pick anything up ask for this guy!!
The staff at this location is a cut above the rest. They treat you like a person. Making conversation on a human level so that you are as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process. Its a refreshing experience.
Karen is awesome.
A little pricey and salesmen (although friendly) are looking to upsell almost everything. They will try to sell you things you don't need for your benefit. Alterations can take unreasonably long so if you think you will need them make your purchase at least a week in advance.
Good to rent tuxedo
Terrible location and a hell of a wait time. The staff was helpful and fairly friendly though and I was very satisfied with my rental. Extremely overpriced though. You could buy an untailored tux for riughly the same price as a rental here. Crazy.
I've been here several times. Renting a tux or buying a suit. The staff is willing to go thru all your options and takes the time to understand what you are looking for. You're gonna like the way you look.
After coming to Men's Warehouse to order and pick up a groomsman tuxedo for my husband, we were VERY unhappy with our experience. 1. The tuxedo was WAY overpriced....$250 for a RENTAL! Are you joking?! 2. The tuxedo came in and when we went to pick it up there was a stain on the tux jacket AND on the white shirt. They mentioned that this happens often and that they had to re-order. They said it would be in Wednesday or Thursday. 3. My husband called on Wednesday and explained the entire situation to the man on the phone and asked if he wouldn't mind checking if it was in and that the one in the back had no stains. He assured my husband it was there and it was clean. We went in and were told, "Who did you talk to? because it isn't here." She proceeded to suggest that it was OUR FAULT for not waiting to be called instead of calling to inquire and that we should have asked to speak to the tux department. To suggest that ANY of this is our fault is UNACCEPTABLE of ANY BUSINESS. If I had a choice in the matter, they would be refunding me and we would be going elsewhere but for now, we have to just "let them" continue to screw us over. We will never return to this Men's Warehouse or any in the future.
Terrible customer service on multiple visits. Super slow and my wedding tux had a huge rip in it when I rented from them.
Needs improvement on current sales personnel
I had purchased something online and unfortunately didn't like it. So I decided to return it in store. I come inside and ask to return it and immediately got dirty stares. Already felt uncomfortable just by stepping inside. The manager I was assuming next to the associate processing the return was rude and repeated exactly what I said when asked why I was returning it. As someone who has worked it different levels of retail that was ridiculous. I was not going to give them my money. I was just going to see if anything cought my eye on the rack while I was there. Looking around and the jackets. Just looking at what they have and had associate come up if I need any help while on my way walking to the door. I said I was just looking around. I can hear the manager talk about me as I was shopping and while I was leaving. Which disquieted me Ive worked in commission selling and sales in general. I don't know how they get paid but I was not making a mess or doing anything but was just peaking at what they had. I understand you talking about a customer because it could be a sale but when I can hear you and not subtle about it. Then that's not OK I definitely do not recommend this store. I don't know about the company in general but if your looking for suit do not come here.
Over priced suits. A representative became aggravated when I told her I was not interested in a jacket she tried to force me to buy. I would not buy a belt from any of these stores.
Tux didn't fit correctly…pants too short. Not much help from the people working there to make things look right. 20 dollars a day for late fees? Ridiculous after paying what your paying to rent the tux itself. Go elsewhere.
Would not recommend. Terrible sizing and alterations. No one knows how a tuxedo should fit
Very helpful staff, whether you're there for a tux or for clothes.
Awful experience. Employees were rude AF
Great service , great price and everything fit fine.
Very Quick with services, and patient with changes we made
Workers are super rude over the phone . Don’t care at all
Extremely friendly and professional staff! Came in for a tux rental and was extremely satisfied!
Nice selection of suits and dress clothing pricey .. you get what you pay for .. great service when renting tuxedos
Great service and prices.
They promise you free stuff but say they are out . Don't stock enough suits
Decent Men's Wearhouse, as far as Men's Wearhouses go. Staff is OK but the whole operation is kind of bush league if you're looking for a very nice suit with a equally nice fit.
Knowledgeable on style and a nice selections of mens clothes for business and casual. The Taylor is on premise and is very good. The sales can be very good and you can usually find a bargain for quality clothes
Had an excellent experience working with Karen, she helped me find a good jacket and they were able to modify it for me in 2 days so it fits great.
You get what you pay for. There is no deals. The buy one get one or buy one get for $150 means if you you want to get your money worth you need to buy 2 suits. To be fair that is true almost anywhere. The sales help and talors are great.
I had the wrong vest ordered for me for a wedding. Bonnie S. went all out to make sure I got the right vest ordered in time for the event even with limited stock of the item. She went above and beyond even though my original order was not at this store. Great rep of the mw brand. The personal service separates them from online retail.
Treatment of customers was not appropriate when asking for information about wedding rentals.
Helpful staff and got my order in a timely manner
Staff was extremely helpful in arranging alterations for a tuxedo I ordered online from Men's Wearhouse. There seems to be a fairly significant disconnect between the store and the company website, but overall I am satisfied with the experiences. I've been using Men's Wearhouse for a long time, since rentals can be returned at any location.
I've gone here about 4 times already for tux rentals. The lady who does the tux fittings is awesome. I've never had a problem with getting the wrong stuff/size/something missing and never waited more than 5 minutes.
Out of everywhere I've been, and ppl I've worked with, hands down, Jazmin is the absolute best!! Awesome customer service!! She is so nice, really knows her stuff!! If you come here, make sure you ask for her! And if she's busy, WAIT FOR HER!! She is well worth the wait!! She should get the raise she deserves!!
