Excellent customer service! I put something on hold the other day when I was in a hurry and didn't have time do make a decision. When I went back to the store (over 24 hours later) they happened to be out of the item so they insisted on overnighting it to me. I was in the store after close (which I hate doing) and they went ahead and overnighted my entire order - as them of the other items they did not have in my size in the store. Very impressed with the training and kindness of everyone there. Great shopping experience.

This JCrew has pretty much every thing that's carried online and in the catalog. I know Shelley (the personal shopper) personally and can say she is THE best personal shopper in the city. If you need an outfit (or wardrobe), go to Shelley. Due to JCrew's prices, though, I usually head straight to the back of the store for the sale rack (shhh). Love the clothes, love the atmosphere, love the sale rack.

I really enjoy walking inside of this store. Great vibes, wonderful customer service. Someone is always down to help you pick out something nice and even find a deal/steal. So glad they’ve turned it into a Men’s Store as well. Really can’t say enough about it. The gentleman who I believe is the manager really knows the product and every staff member I’ve encountered has been awesome too. I could go on and on, but I will stop now. 10 stars.

First time i ever went to a J. Crew. Honestly, the prices are a bit high, but they have a wide variety, although it was hard finding something that fit me off the rack. Everything was too tight across the shoulders.

I never leave sour reviews, but this store just can't seem to get it together. I'm glad they decided to reinstate the women's department, but it seems half-hearted. Today, one staff welcomed me "in" and promised she'd check on sale details, never to return. More often than not (and I'm afraid I keep going in even after having received poor service) the staff is preoccupied with themselves, their reflection or each other. Get it together or move along. PCM is already looking a bit tired.

Bigger selection than the other Chicago stores- somehow has a better selection than the North Ave store- which I can never find anything there anymore. But 900 n Michigan usually has some good finds. Maybe their selection is more similar to suburban stores? The fitting rooms can get crowded when busy. But overall it is a quick stop and convenient.

J. Crew, like other retailers, drives me mad with sale exceptions. I stopped in the PCM store today when I saw their “30% off regular price merchandise” sign. This particular J. Crew only carries men’s clothing - they recently did away with all other merchandise at this location. I grabbed a pair of chinos and asked for a fitting room. The sales guy told me all the chinos were regular price but everything else was 30% off. I decided to pass on the chinos but grabbed two pairs of dress pants and three shirts. One shirt was on a rack with nearly twenty other identical shirts. Upon checking out, I was told the pants were not discounted because dress slacks and jackets are considered “men’s suiting” and excluded from discounts. Two of the shirts were similarly excluded from the sale and lastly I was told the shirt I picked from the rack of identical shirts was a display model.....that all twenty identical shirts were display models not available for sale, rather they were there for customers to try on and order. I left the store. No appetite for being annoyed with this type of BS; I predict this location will close within a year.

I’ve been to this location several times and even with normally having a greeter at the door, have not been acknowledged by any of the staff. Workers seem pretentious and are not welcoming, which is a shame as the clothes are well made and appropriately priced. I end up ordering online instead of shopping at the store.

I love JCrew, however, I don't recall the prices being so high. With that being said, you get what you pay for. The quality and tailoring at JCrew is very nice. The salesman was helpful and even helped me dig for my size.

No eye contact with the greeting staff member (looked like a manager), and Joseph (upstairs, men's section) was very unhelpful as well as unwilling to provide quality customer service. I asked if they offered odd sizes in men's jackets for suiting and he damn near made a face, eventually telling me they didn't.

Audrey (415519) gave us the best customer service we've ever had at any J.Crew. We actually walked up to the store just to peep our heads in and ask if they were still open. Audrey told us the store had closed 5 mins ago but to come on in and take our time since they were going to be there a while anyway. We tried on several items and she checked on us frequently and brought us different sizes. We never felt rushed in any way or that we were imposing. We walked away with a few purchases and were thanked again on the way out. A great overall shopping experience. A+

I think what 'brick and mortar' has over time efficiency are the interactions that one can have in the stores. This JCrew on Michigan Avenue is so welcoming. The store feels intimate but it really is space efficient. The palette of the products is cheery and fun but for those who want cosy —or if you need to do more corporate—it's here. But, what was so heartening was to hear Staff laughing with the customers, offering folks water of they hear them coughing (tis the Season where you have to get your shopping done and dang if a cough is going to stop you!), and directions to their fitting rooms in such a lovely manner. If Customer Service saves 'brick and mortar', Crew on Michigan are the saviors! Merry Christmas!

This J. Crew is spacious and carries their wedding collection and other limited edition items. However, the sale area is small and I feel like I get snotty looks whenever I gravitate towards the discounted items. It gets uncomfortably crowded on the weekends so I would recommend shopping during off-times.

It was time for me to invest in a suit for weddings and I chose J Crew because I have worn their products for more than a decade. This Men's Shop is close to family so I made an appointment. They recommended I see Mike. He was personable and patient. He had me try on different size jackets, shirts, etc.. He got me dialed into the perfect fit and color! He went the extra mile by doing several little things like steaming my suit. This was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. I left with a comfortable suit that gives me confidence! I am a loyal customer and will be sure to visit this location in the future.

Crew store can order any online item for you free of shipping charges. Your merchandise is at your home or place of business within a couple of days. Shopping at J. Crew is fun and the prices are reasonable. I've never seen an item in store or on the Internet that's overpriced and sales are abundant. One of the best reasons for shopping at J. Crew locally is the attention to detail and friendly attentive service that awaits you as you shop the latest fashion. The clothing is always stylish while remaining classic. J. Crew downtown New Canaan is a wonderful local store with distinctive apparel often designed exclusively for this nationwide clothing store. I like the deals thank you. Monique could use some proper customer service training and etiquette. For some reason, her co-worker or floor manager was more important than the customer. She asked me for my email - which is normally hard to get from a customer - as I was saying it - she said hold on - spoke to another employee about something. Ok - I can let that slide - she seems new. Then I asked for my receipt - she said - wait sir with an attitude. Really - I had to wait for your conversation to end now I’m pushing you. Don’t make it this easy for Amazon to close the doors down in the retail business. This type of customer service attention does not help. Be better - we will come back. We like J Crew.
