WORST customer service ever! Never in my life have I been treated so badly. Her name is BETSY. Let me say, I'm not a difficult customer. I'm very reasonable. I went here to rent a costume for my sons school parade. Firstly she never helped me and the only reason I found something was bc another lady came on shift and helped. Regardless, the costume was too small. It was only out of the bag for the 2 mins I tried it on my son. Betsy was there when I returned it and when I told her it wasn't used (I wasn't expecting/asking for a refund, it was my mistake) she then took it out of the bag and buried her face in it, sniffing it! She made a gagging sound and looked disgusted with a scrunched up nose look, and saying "ewwww". Right. In. Front. Of. Me. I could not believe it. It wasn't even out of the bag, my child doesn't smell. Shocked I said, "it wasn't even worn so I don't know how it smells" she gives me a dirty look and said "it reeks of cigarette smoke" I'm so flabbergasted, I don't say anything, get my receipt and turn to walk away. I couldn't. I had to say something. I turned and told her she was very rude and she shouldn't treat people this way. She said that she doesn't like cigarettes. This is where I get mad, bc it isn't her job to like cigarettes, I don't care. Do you mean to tell me that you rent costumes and nobody goes to a party in them and is around smoke, I call bull?!$&. This costume was not around smoke. I told her "that's fine, and I understand the policy is to wash everything but it isn't your policy to treat people like their disgusting or dirt. It's all about your approach/delivery, how you talk to people and you were incredibly rude to me". She said that it wasn't her job to be nice and talked over me, told me to have a nice day and dismissed me from the store. She didn't listen to me. I'm writing this review on every social media site I can find in hopes the owner or boss reads this bc she should not be allowed to deal with people. I'll never shop here again bc I wouldn't want to deal with Betsy. Disappointing bc you had a lot of costumes that I'd have liked to rented.

We had 70's theme party this weekend, so we were looking for outfits for about 10 to 12 people. I was told the selection was great, but once I got inside there was much than I expected.. The owner was such a great help and the outfits were to die for. She knows her stuff and has what you're looking for. Trust her judgement for any outfit she recommends for you. Thanks for the outfits and we had a blast!!!
