Went in for halloween costume to wear at work all day, not knowing what wanted other than it looked real. Beth helped me by showing all variety at store, and then recommended combinations and took lots of time to create pirate victorian outfit with all the trimmings of sash, belt, boots, head scarf under tri corner hat, jewelry and belt pouch....everything!!! And price under $100.

We've rented costumes twice and have been pleased both times. They are clean and the staff is helpful. They aren't cheap to rent but very high quality compared to buying a cheap polyester costume. We rented once for Halloween and once for a Steampunk party. They had great accessories and plus sized choices too.

I have rented costumes from this company 2 times now and they have a huge selection of different kinds of costumes for rent and sale and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would not consider the price to be cheap, but I assume it's fair. The costumes where clean and fit well and I had 3 days to use it and get it back to them. The only limitation is their hours of operation, but that can be worked around. 10am to 6pm

AMAZING SELECTION ... I went in for an inspector Clouseau outfit for an adult ... I called a different costume place that didn't have one. They suggested I go here and Mardi Gras had 5+ such costumes! COOL PEOPLE ... the guy who helped me find the costume was a really cool guy, the guy at the register was a really cool guy, they were so great when I returned the costum ... I really recommend this place!

Rental Costumes are old and faded. Some are held together with safety pins. They charge way to much for the quality. The young blonde assistant was rude and unhelpful.

This place is the best! A full selection of period pieces and plenty of theatrical quality rentals, including a full retail shop with wigs and all kinds of accessories to complete the look.

They have always had great high-end costumes & make-up at wonderful prices year round. Renting is also a great option and they take care of the cleaning! Great place for wigs as well. I will never shop at Spirit because for just a few dollars more, you can get a real authentic costume here that isn't made of thin cheap fabric. Also because Spirit isn't open during Comicon season.

I have been using Mardi Gras Costume for years to not only get amazing costumes but also inspire me to be more creative. Every time I go there I get more ideas and dream about dynamic stories and images nobody has ever seen. They have helped me win awards and mentor many creative thinkers. They should be considered a hub of creative inspiration for the entire area. Don't go just when you have a preset idea, go with an open mind and dream.

My day started out awful when a terrible online company refused shipping my expensive costume that I already paid for!!!! I went to Mardi Gras for fast help and I met with Beth who took genuine care for me. Her enthusiasm and vision helped create a much better costume than the one I originally purchased. Today Mardi Gras gained a customer for life because of Beth’s enthusiasm, care and creativity. More photos to come once my makeup is done

Love this place because it has costumes that are Hollywood movie quality which is great for performers and models and the such.... Everything from costumes, wigs, hats, accessories, crowns, makeup, fake eyelashes, etc you name it... Fitting rooms to try on. Costumes available for rent are available in back of store and are excellent for theater and filming too. Costumes available for purchase too. Reasonable prices and courteous staff willing to help you find the right look for whatever it is you aim to do.

Great selection of costumes, new and used, for rent or sale. Decent selection of makeup. The only reason I don't give five stars is because the costumes, from what I saw, are rather generic. I didnt really see anything that I haven't seen online or in other stores. Nothing top notch, but thats just my opinion.

Incredibly helpful and efficient - I walked in, stated my request to the gentleman who greeted me,, and left 20 minutes later with the perfect costume to wear to my niece's princess birthday party. The Sleeping Beauty/Fairy Godmother costume I rented was of theatrical quality and looked great. My four year old niece got a kick out of it. However, the grown ups at the party were most surprised and delighted.
