We went to have pictures taken of our family together at Christmas, in the Photo Studio. There was a total of 13 of us, and the youngest were 2 - 18 month old twins, a 2-1/2 year old child. The pictures turned out awesome! I was surprised how well they turned out since there were so many of us, and the little ones. I never thought they would be able to get one picture that would be good of all of us, but the girl who took out pictures was Great! She really did a good job keeping the kids attention, and getting them to all smile at the same time! She gets high praises from me!!! And I highly recommend them for pictures. They always do a great job and we always get great pictures!

Great place to go shopping. Love the baby section for my daughter and my baby brother. Also love the men section for my clothes. The only reason I rated JCPENNEY 4/5 because oh my jeebus the prices are outrageous. Got 3 items and it totaled to over $70. Crazy pricing but great clothing.

Always good service, great selection, always watch for sales.. But make sure they ring up at register correctly... Always check to make sure all the security tags are removed before leaving.. They turn the tags off, but forget to take them off every now and then...

The employees try. But the store gets in its own way. I paid for an item online for local pickup. Site says give them 4 hours and item will be ready. I drive an hour in 4 hours later, no one has touched my order. I had to wait another hour to get an item I already paid for. Penny's just has not caught up to how people do business.

First, let me just say that I dread shopping for clothes so much that I've been wearing Chez Costco almost exclusively for years. But today for the first time in years I had no choice but to **sigh** battle it out in a fitting room, hoping to find at least one pair of summer slacks that fit right. Naturally, I chose the only reliable department store in town to find well-cut, modest clothes in classic styles, inexpensive yet well-made, and an adequate selection of sizes larger than 10. (For example, i found that at Nordstroms, a size 12 is really a 6 for a 5'10" woman.) Thank you, Penneys, for continuing to buy many styles and sizes from Liz Claiborne. And especially thank you, Benny, for conscientiously keeping an eye to the fitting room. I always have to try on armfuls of items in different sizes before finally finding something that fits. Benny professionally, yet so cheerfully and sweetly, watched over the fitting room after the scheduled attendant disappeared, even though she had to tend to all her assigned duties, too. Your kindness gave me spirit, and I ended up buying a SUITCASE-full of nice clothes, including THREE pairs of slacks. Instead of feeling frustrated and exhausted walking out (as usual), I felt darn good. So on the way out, I stopped to buy a Liz Claiborne satchel and purse, two wallets, four belts, and three shirts for my husband because I still had time and energy before rushing home to get dinner on the table.

I find the process good for what you get. But I would like to see Penneys clean up and organize the shows. In Oklahoma they started to carry appliances none. Hurry in there princess are great. I bought a large capacity ebony washer dryer set for well less then i could anywhere else in the Tulsa area.

JCPenney Salon - first I'd like to say that I really like how they did my daughters and my hair. BUT, I have a couple big complaints. 1) I went in for a trim and temporary pink to be put in my daughters hair, they DID NOT consult me about lightening her (already light) hair before adding color. I would not have agreed to that had I been asked. 2) I was quoted 120 for her hair, and 220 for mine, the one stylist DID ask me if I wanted my daughter's hair curled, but she didn't mention the added cost, the lady that did my hair dried and flat ironed it without asking me if I wanted it done or informing me about the added cost, and I was charged an extra $20 for each of us. Again, I do like our results, my biggest complaint here isn't the added $40 dollars for styling, it's that they did not ask me about lightening my daughter's hair (a permanent change) when I just wanted some temporary pink put in

Girl who wears head covering that works there always follows me around in the underwear section. Cant tell if shes pretending im going to still something or shes being gay, either way it creeps me out and jcp use to be my fave place to get under garments but im not spending that kind of money to put up with some foreigner harassing me like a fool who obviously is too dumb to tell the difference between a regular shopper and thief or she cant control her urges and cant stop herself from staring at me like a freak. Never going back thanks to this creep!

Very average service and dated department store. There are some great off season bargains to be had here if you have good timing and can get find your size. I buy pocket tees here every year and look for bargains on sweatshop dress shirts and pants. Don't expect anyone to offer help with anything and you won't be disappointed.

The fitting rooms are filthy and unattended. "Mystery stains" on the walls, mirrors and chairs. I refuse to try on their over priced clothes in those fitting rooms. Coupons don't apply to the big brands and the selection has been cut in half from previous years.

Well I did not have the best experience at JCPenney. The woman at the cash register could barely speak English and didn't listen to what I was asking her to do she kept telling me the complete opposite of what I inquired about. And then I didn't have my receipt for something I had purchased that I was returning and she would not look up my account number because unfortunately I didn't have my JCPenney card with me either. But I asked her if she could look up my account with my ID and she said no which is not true because then the manager came over and he looked up my account number any also let me return the item without the receipt and without my card. So I was not very happy with the customer service I received from some Asian woman who works at JCPenney on the second floor of the Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall location.

This place is a mess. Disorganized, sparse customer service, and their clerks were absolutely awful to me and the customer beside me. They had a shirt marked way down for clearance, it rang up regular price, and then they got upset with me when I asked why it was marked down if it wasn't actually on clearance. I was very polite and gave zero attitude to these ladies, and they still pitched a huge fit even after I said it was okay, and I didn't want the shirt. It wasn't a big deal, but they turned it into one. One employee also made a friend feel very insecure because she couldn't find any dresses that were in her size (most were stocked at sz 1, 3, and 5) and the employee told her to "try a store fit for bigger girls". Totally disappointed with JCPenney 5th Avenue. Normally do not ever have this kind of negative experience when going to JCPenney.

They have a great dress selection at fabulous prices especially with a coupon. Simple to shop here because hardly anything moves from the area. I think filling the walking areas with more items is a pain. When you're finished navigating the racks and tables you may need a cold drink or massage in the mall.

Poorly run store, they appear to make money of commissions from the JCP credit card and if you’re not applying for one, then the sale people can’t be bothered to help you at check out if you’re merchandise is under $100. Case in point, picked up a belt and even though there were 4 other sales people around the floor, when i indicated i did not want a JCP credit card; I was told I needed to wait for the one salesperson to ring me up even though she had a customer with a complicated order and payment method. We looked around and after 10 minutes asked why none of the other salespeople could help ring up the belt, met with shrugs and blank stares.

Prom dresses are a bit expensive for their quality. And their is almost always a wait time or you cant seem to find anyone there when you need someone and their really dont care to help you much. Their prices are so so but their clearance sometimes is ridiculous they had many clothes with rips, huge stains and messed up for almost full price and only got 25% off. When you check out it takes forever and i had to tell one lady numerous times i already had a scp credit card just didn't want to use it and she kept pressuring me to get another or to use it for points. Theres also a guy at the jewelry counter who i personally just got very weird vibes from. I said i was looking for a bridal gift for my moms wedding and said i didn't want anything super expensive but something nice. And he came back and showed me a 10,000 bracelet and a necklace for 2,000 and everything was way marked up. And he didn't care about what i said i was looking for he'd go off and entrust and do his own thing so id say jewelry needs a change as well too.
