Waited at both makeup and perfume counter for assistance and no staff acknowledgment or assistance was ever received. They just kept talking and walked right by. So weird. Especially since they lack business. Moved further down to watch and jewelry counter and the lady there (I think her name was Stefanie) was very pleasent and helpful.

In my experience, m Macy’s has friendly, helpful staff :) When it’s quiet, I enjoy having convos with them. I wish this Macy’s had more variety of clothing brands and stock of my size... so when a line is on a very good sale, it runs out fairly quickly. This the only Macy’s in Augusta... so after that, I’m stuck with online ordering :( I moved from a mid-sized city which had like, 5 Macy’s (now 4), so I’ve been spoilt for choice in the past. If a Macy’s is going to only have one store in a city, then it would be nice if it had greater variety of brands, clothing lines, and more stock.

Staff was somewhat rude and unhelpful. This is the only Macy’s I know of that does NOT follow their own price match policy from their website. Also, the store as a whole is a bit run down and outdated. No need to return here. Will go out of my way to go to a different store next time. What a shame.

I have to say the place is nice and clean easy to get in and out. Wheelchair accessible parking. Now I always counted on Macy’s to have better quality woman’s clothing but nothing was worth the price they charge. It’s the buyers who are to blame not the store. I can’t believe how longstanding designers are cheapening their brand with polyester clothing that’s horrid. I despised having to wear this fabric when I was a child and I can’t believe it’s in fashion, when will it end? I specifically shop there to find quality clothing made of quality fabric sad to say this is not the case anymore.

It was kind of weird. I went in the store to buy this Polo sweat suit. The price said 20% off due to black Fri. I paid for them and noticed that I didn't get the discount. I went online with my phone and seen that it was a 25% discount for the same outfit. I went back to the register and was told that the discount only applies to members that have a Macy's card. I don't. So, I went to customer service and returned the outfits. I can get them for cheaper online and free shipping. Amazingly, from the same store.

We were in the lingerie department for a while, waiting patiently for the young lady to assist us, considering she was the only person working at that moment and she had a customer who needed a great deal of help. We noticed we were being watched by some strange man in the lingerie department, he wasn't with any one he was just standing in the department watching us, which made me very uncomfortable. Then the "GIRLS" in the shoe department were rude when we were checking out. My mother asked her to give her a moment, she had her birthday coupon, but instead of doing that, which I need to add this was a Tuesday afternoon, NO ONE was shopping, she rang us up, while chatting with her co-worker, and proceeded to check us out! My mother was so flustered and upset, she couldn't find her coupon! Never had such a bad visit at MACY'S! BTW...figured out the guy watching "US" shop was ASSET PROTECTION! WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!

After spending several minutes looking for shoes, and someone to assist us. I finally took a pair to one of the registers and stood in line. A floor manager was walking the floor on a phone call. When she approached my sister and I she ended her call promptly, and assisted us with the shoe. Unfortunately the shoe had to be special-ordered, as they did not have my size in stock. What I found to be quite interesting though - was the demeanor of the sales person behind the register. In the presence of the floor manager the sales person became quite vibrant, and actually began smiling. Had the demeanor of the salesperson been like this prior to the floor managers arrival, they would have received five stars as opposed to four. The floor manager truly won me over, and she was the floor manager of another department not the one that I was in.

I love this location. The aisles are wide, the clothing racks are adequately stocked, but easy to browse. They don't have everything that the bigger stores have and that is ok. Shop Online or go elsewhere. Relatively empty store, not many shoppers. Online pickup had one attendant and 8 customers waiting. I decided to look around. Nobody offered help in Health & Beauty, nor in Housewares. For the extra that Macy's charges, I don't think the gas and parking lot search is worthwhile. I found one male near a register in men's jeans who was helpful. No other employees even glanced my way.

they don't have a lot variety it's pretty much all the same clothes with different brands on them. Their sales are a joke. We were looking for a purse for my wife and they said they were on sale but then we noticed that they slapped new sticker prices on a lot of them making them more expensive than what they are originally for so when they you get the discount your paying closer to the original price. That's not cool.

I moved here few months ago from NY but Macy had been one stop shop for all of my needs. I always go to them for all my home deco, for my Kitchen Bathroom and all.They are the best they have all I ever need. Plus customer service is excellent!! I give Macy's 4 stars because of lack of coherent coupon strategy.. I bought a pair of Aerosoles for work. I tried them on at home and they were not comfortable. I came today to return them and Jessica was extremely rude. She asked if I’d worn them and I told her only in my home. She said she wouldn’t return them. I asked for a manager and as she picked up the phone to get one, she told me “I’mmnot gonna get fired over this.” I told her I’m sure you won’t get fired. She said in a nasty tone, “excuse me?” I said there’s no need to speak to me that way. The manager came and asked me why I wasn’t returning them to the original Macy’s I bought them at. I told her it was twice the distance from my home. She returned them, but my day was ruined after that experience. I will never shop at this Macy’s again! Thanks to Jessica, I will spend my $ elsewhere.

No wonder it's nearly empty at 5:30pm on a Wednesday eve. I thought I'd poke my head in while I was waiting for someone to join me for dinner. The store was nearly empty and tired looking. I had a few items in my hand that were supposedly on sale, but signage is also lacking. I tried two of their price scanners and both were out of order--again, adding to the derelict atmosphere. I saw a sales clerk at her station and asked her if they were on sale. She sighed, put down her hanger, and said 'what did the sign say?' I told her 3 for 2. "What does that mean?" she asked. I was stunned. I asked her to scan the items to tell me. She fumbled and mumbled and said they weren't in the system. Dubious, I asked her if she worked at Macy's. She said "yeah, but those items aren't in my dept." Pathetic. I left. Worst Macy's experience....

I had my worst ever Macy's experience this weekend. My family knows how much I love Macy's so I regularly get gift cards. I had one left and was planning to buy myself a nice bra. I arrived in the lingerie department walked it for about 10 minutes looking for a balconette bra but I couldn't find one. I decided to ask the lady working there for her assistance. I asked her where do you keep the balconette bras? She gave me a quizzical look and said "I have no idea what you're talking about". I tried to explain to her what it was I was looking for and she said I'm sorry ill just have to look for it and proceeded to walk away. Macy's if this is what you consider customer service you will no longer have my custom. I don't think I've ever been treated this poorly at your store before but it was an eye opener at how poorly you train your staff. I work in customer service and know what levels are expected, you got a 0. I did eventually find the style bra I was looking for and bought 2 spending over $100 at another store.

I went to Macy’s-Kona today and walked in 4 different departments, passed by the cashier counters and all and not one employee acknowledged me. No one said hi and no one asked if I needed help. When I was shopping in a particular department, there was no one at the counter and I needed help checking out. Little did I know, there were two employees walking around the department but I didn’t know they were workers. I thought they were customers because I walked passed them twice and they didn’t say anything. I had to ask the woman stocking items for help. I believe she works in the back and only brings out the new items. I’m not quite sure. Definitely not a good shopping experience.

Ran in here to pick up a couple items for a trip I was leaving to in a few hours. To make a long story short i was checking out and the clerk got distracted taking about clock in and out policy with another employee and didn’t bag the belt I just purchased, didn’t notice myself until I was packing for my trip. Very happy with the rest of my purchase. About a month later I had the credit on my bank account for the belt. I know they put those little stickers on the tag and it was a nice surprise.

Boy, where do I start! It is evident that the collapse of the American Mall/Department Store is happening. In the Southern Suburban suburbs of Denver there are not many choices for a Macy's. You have Southwest Plaza (Littleton, CO), Streets of Southglenn (Littleton/Centennial), and Park Meadows Mall. The Southglenn location disappoints! The floor has been shrunken (walls moved in) to decrease the floor square footage. the primary reason I went there was to get men's dress shoes. I have an expectation when I go to a Macy's for men's dress shoes. The tiny section they had for men's shoes looked like I was in a Kohl's. The selection was terrible! The following day I went to Park Meadows Mall (Lone Tree, CO) Macy's and was treated to what should be, or has been in the past. Make me sad to see the less traveled to Macy's decreasing their selections as it just proves the American Mall is in danger.

Not super impressed with my experience here. I was given prompt service but was totally blown away by high prices on bedding. Was told there might be coupons, turn out that there were none, and ended up payinf full price. Ended up returning the items the next day when I found out on thete website that there had been a sale all along and I should have paid about 60% less. Salesperson had to have known this - we discussed pricing specifically.

Macys has A LOT of different sells which can be confusing. You really have to ask the sales associate if thats going to be the best deal of the month. This store in particular has great customer service but can get understaffed very easyily. I try to avoid peak times when I shop here since a small store and can easily get crowded. Just an fyi they dont have maternity, plus size on most items, or hosiery, really slim pickings.

Went in specifically for Addidas running shoes. I was shocked they didn't have any addidas at all. However, the store was decent. Smaller than normal, but that makes sense with the location. The only thing off-putting (besides no Addidas) was in the women's restroom there was a toilet bowl that had water spinning like crazy. It was splashing water everywhere. Ill be going back sometime to check out the home furnishing Macys I saw in a seperate lot. Ive never seen that before.

Giving this location 1 star is being extremely generous in my opinion. Last week I saw a dress in the juniors department and did not purchase. After calling the Cherry Creek store for the same dress (since this location is closer to me), I was directed back to the Southglenn store as inventory showed they had the item I needed. After 6 phonecalls, yes 6 phonecalls; being put on hold for 15 minutes, another time for 23 minutes, being hung up on twice, talked down to, being set aside for "customers at the register" only to wait on the line while i heard employees conversations talking about their previous night out and having to use the restroom I was beyond frustrated! After finally getting ahold of SOMEONE- they confirmed the item in the size I needed was in inventory but they couldn't find it on the floor. I was then told to try a different Macy's because they couldn't order it and hung up on me. After calling back once again, requesting for a search in a different state, my number was taken and I was told I would get a call back. Over 24 hours went by without hearing from ANYONE so when I finally called back I went strait to the manager. Ultimately he was able to locate the dress in a different state and put me in touch with someone who could help me from that store, however this is by far the worst customer service I have ever received and i will NOT be returning. Buyer beware of the juniors department employees as they have absolutely no training, poor phone skills, even worse social skills and are clearly poor representations of the company they work for.

I usually start out at Kohl's and finding what I need for a good price. Then I somehow wander into Macy's and find what I WANT. It is usually for a slightly higher price but way greater quality. My last shopping experience I needed a suit. I went to Kohl's and purchased a suit off the rack and a pair of shoes. With discounts and such, $225. I definitely was going to need some tailoring. Figure another $100. A day or so later I went to Macy's to see what they had. After a while of looking an associate (sweet elderly lady) asked if I needed assistance. I told her what I was looking for and she proceeded to help fit me and selected several items. I wound up purchasing a really great Ralph Lauren wool suit jacket and 2 pair of pants (they were separates, so no tailoring required), a pair of Rockport shoes and a belt. Total cost $475. Yes, $150 more than Kohl's (with tailoring) but the suit, with two pairs of pants, will last way longer than the other polyester/rayon one and will also be wearable year round and will remain in style for years to come. The shoes were of a way better quality and will also last longer. And the fact that I had someone spend time with and assist me was a plus.

Holiday shopping so it was extremely busy. They needed to open more register stations considering the time of year. The line I was in was 8 people deep. I did find some really good deals so in the end it was quite worth it. The staff was friendly even though they were so swamped.

I'm going to give this location another try and assume that the situation I went through today was a one off. Amy the GM did make me feel better once I spoke to her but I'm not going to lie, I was quite livid for a few. I wish I could attach photos. I was trying on a pair of Levis and there was a security device on the rear portion that was not attached properly. When I pulled the pants up the tack part on the security device put a pretty deep scratch in my skin. It was not delightful nor was my experience with the associate who brushed it off. And here I am wondering if I needed a tetanus shot. Like I said before, I'm giving this location another try and then I may change my rating.

I have been a fan of Macy's for many years. You get the coupons in the mail. You go into the store and it's really nothing you can use them toward. So there's not a really big advantage to going to Macy's any longer. And if you used their credit card the interest rate is extremely extremely high. I always feel disappointed everytime I go to Macy's. And it's just the Macy's here in Kona, because even in Hilo, it's a far better experience. The snobbery in Kona is palpable. I ride a motorcycle, so I occasionally come in with gear on, and you can just sense the stares and the awkward feeling from both the other customers and the staff. I could care less about the customers, they're easy to ignore. But the staff, now that's another issue. I've literally been in the store, looking for shirts, or slacks, and had staff look at me, and turn to another customer that looked more affluent. I've watched this happen to locals too. So, while they have a decent selection of perfumes for the ladies, and some nice apparel, I'll drive or ride out to Waikoloa, and shop at the Macy's out there, or head on to Tommy Bahamas for an even better experience, and direct source shopping. The management at the Kona Macy's really needs to focus on non discrimination training for the staff, and probably for themselves too. Unless you have to go, there are other options, so I would avoid Kona Macy's.

I'm sure it's the call center and now the store, but I will not be shopping at Macy's ever again. I've had the worst experience over two freaking mugs! Calling in is a nightmare, they are obviously not US based anymore. Their policies on how they treat customers that call in are just bad!! They seriously need a customer service adjustment. Macy's is by far the best place in Kona to get surf shorts t-shirts hats sandals for children men women everyone in the family not only that they even have a section with sheets luggage you name it you got it and you usually can get a good discount with one of their little coupons that they have I got my wife her birthday present there as well as picked up some cool new surf shorts for myself they have all the best brands from Quicksilver to Hurley Billabong in addition to having all the high-end clothing great for work. During the 17 years being Concierge in Kona anytime I guess would ask me where do I get the best Aloha t-shirts I would send them to Macy's because Hilo Hattie's went out of business but I guess Hilo Hattie's has got a small store opened up again back in Kona town aloha.

There used to be a store called Weiner's that was a discount chain. I am not sure what happened to Macy's but it has the same feel and smell of a Weiner's. The merchandise seems to be of poor quality and style yet retains the prices of higher quality and more stylish choices available in other stores. I understand that retail bricks and mortar stores are under pressure from online retailers but they have a chance to shine in areas that online cannot, service and availability. Wake-up Macy's or you will go the way of the dinosaur.

First of all, it's Macy's on the Big Island of Hawaii! Therefore, great merchandise of items not usually sold in Hawaii. I love this store. I appreciate the sales associates! Not a fan of the was their sales work. Sign clearly stated military discount store wide. With NO fine print on sign. Clerk said shoes were excluded; again it was nowhere on the sign that was located in the shoe department. Took my business elsewhere. Otherwise they’re one of the better clothing stores for men.
