I painted the house exterior. We were confused about different parts that needed to be painted and Jessica has been extremely helpful in explaining the project. She was prompt and efficient. The workers were Obid and Alejandro. Both of them were very polite. They kept the property clean and finish the project in 3 days (it rained in one of the days). They worked hard and managed the time and resources very well. Initially I had a different color picked for the garage but because I did not like how it looked I chose to go with the body color. Alejandro painted several small portions to allow me to understand how the project will look in the end. That was very helpful. Certa Pro did such an AMAZING job painting the exterior of our house! This was a complicated project since we have a very large two story craftsman home with shingles and wood trim (plus a large detached 2 story garage). We also have metal framing, cameras, speakers, etc..., which needed protection from the paint - Certa Pro's incredible, professional and friendly crew spent several days carefully masking all those areas plus a myriad of doors and windows. They worked quickly but carefully and made sure everything was done perfectly! Jessica and her crew promised we would get the best quality for a fair price, and they certainly delivered in EVERY way. They always arrived bright and early in the morning, and left our premises clean and tidy every evening. The price was right, the workers spent a LOT of time doing a rock-solid prep (and still finished half a day ahead of schedule), explained some of the techniques they used that I'd never heard of ... and when they found a problem with the drywall, they fixed it without a fuss. Jessica (owner) caught problems before I saw them, they paid attention to my input, and when I was conflicted, they gave me reasoned advice. There was a lot of communication. Just as invaluable is that they have an understanding with a color consultant. I love a lot of bold colors, and Anya let me play without going too bizarre. That was an ENORMOUS help. I'm extremely happy with the entire experience.

I hired CertaPro first for exterior painting and then because we liked our experience so much the first time, when we needed to do interior painting, we hired them again. It's very unnerving when choose a contractor. There are so many horror stories and one never know what's going to happen. Not a single moment with CertaPro that's left me unnerved. When the painters arrived, Obit (spelling?) and his crew were WONDERFUL! When the tape had taken down some of the newly mudded ceiling, Obit fixed the problem so well, you can't even tell that anything had happened! We were amazed that it looked so good. They are, as their name describes. real pros at what they do. Steve, the estimator, listened and remembered our wants and detailed them in the proposal. Omed and his team showed up on time, patched large holes so you would never know they were there, and did a beautiful job masking and painting two coats on a townhouse. Jessica, the boss lady, stopped by and clearly explained the process. I would use these folks again and highly recommend them.

Jessica Belman and her crew are just fantastic. If you are looking for a painter -- just call them. You won't regret it. We have used them now multiple times, I'm always grinning ear to ear when I see what a wonderful job they have done. Jessica's entire team are extremely professional from the very beginning. The bid was clear, they asked the right questions, and they made sure they completely understood what WE wanted. Any changes were clearly discussed so there were no surprises. Jessica even went way out of her way to work around our difficult schedule. Clear instructions were given on what to expect, what to prepare for, and when the painters arrived it is easy to be ready for them. And the crew -- what a great job they did. On this project they had a lot of issues to contend with from dealing with two story vaulted ceilings, to painting over some very difficult existing paint colors. And they also had to deal with a 10 month old baby's nap schedule! We were initially very concerned about the brand new wood floors and brand new furniture, but they covered so well all our fears went away immediately. The work site was kept incredibly clean (very important when there are young children in the house), they moved all the furniture agreed to with no problems at all, and when the job was done the transformation was more than we could have hoped. I can't believe how effortlessly they were able to transition from one paint color to another! It is gorgeous! Jessica followed up immediately to be sure we were truly happy with the job. It isn't often when I have zero stress with contractors in the house -- thank you Jessica and CertaPro Painters for going over and above all expectations in every category.

**Update** 4/2016 We hired Certa Pro of the Eastside to paint 3 bedrooms in our house this month and they were fantastic. The crew is very pet friendly and easy to have around. It took them three days and they painted the trim, ceiling, doors, closets, and walls. They also patched and primed a few annoying holes we had in the walls from the previous owners putting up a large screen tv and cables. I'm having them back soon to paint the rest of our interior, and also they will paint our exterior this Summer. Jessica (the owner) came by each day and checked on their progress. If you need painters, you will not find a happier and more efficient crew. 5/2015 Certa Pro was very professional and easy to communicate with. We had the estimate, quote, and color scheme completed in about an hour. The project was started and finished immediately. We had an outdoor structure primed and painted in three colors to match our deck and house and it looks fantastic. The crew let me know that if I had any problems with the paint on the ceiling which was made of new plywood, that they would come back and do another coat. The cleanup was perfect and the crew was easy to have around. I will be hiring Jessica and her crew to paint the exterior of the house next year.

We just had our house painted by Certa Pro of Eastside and it was the worst experience ever working with a "profesional" company. It likely goes without saying that when you spend $6,200 to have work professionally done on your home then you expect that work to be completed professionally and without much hassle/stress. Details of how these expectations were missed are detailed below. 1) Communication regarding work schedule was severely lacking. Workers showed up or didn't show up without any advance notice. 2) Prep work before painting was severely lacking. When we did the first final walk through we realized they never properly prepped the house. The old paint was not scraped, sanded, etc. Instead they just painted over the old paint with new paint. When we raised the issue they tried to "fix" it by cutting a slit in the new paint and re-caulking the old paint to the side of the house. This was eventually rectified after we threatened not to pay our remaining balance - but only on the sunny exposure side of our house. 3) Very unprofessional results. When we did our first walkthrough we found the following issues: -The crew got house paint on some of our house bricks -The crew got trim paint on our wood stained fence -The crew got house paint on random spots all around the foundation of the house -The crew got house, trim and front door paint on various areas of our landscaping -There was trim paint on body parts of the house -There was body paint on trim areas of the house -There was body paint on multiple window frames -There was trim paint on our sliding door frame -Trim work was very sloppy - wavy and uneven edges -Drip edges for our windows were handled poorly. Some were painted, some were not. The ones that were painted were done very sloppy. Most if not all of these issues were eventually fixed after multiple attempts. 4) Garage doors. Initially the crew just painted over the garage door seals and onto the garage doors leaving approximately 2" around the perimeter of the garage doors unpainted. Every time the doors were opened and closed friction caused bits of paint to smudged/chip off revealing spots of white. Very obvious since our doors were being painted dark gray. When we raised the issue with them they just kept touching up the paint leaving a thick build up in various spots. We eventually got them to paint the entire garage doors but only after threatening not to pay our final balance. The issue remains with areas of gray paint smudging/chipping off the garage doors - our lack of confidence in their ability to properly handle this means we will be trying to resolve this issue ourselves. 5) Cleanliness//Safety of site The crew was supposed to clean up the site each night when they left. Each night after the painters left we did a quick tour of the backyard to ensure it was safe for our dog. A few times it was not: - Old boards and nails from carpentry work were left behind We not only had to clean it up and dispose of it ourselves but we were still charged a $30 disposal fee. -One night we found an open blade knife/razor knife laying on the ground -On at least one occasion an open paint can was left on the ground 6) Final payment and walkthhrough After the final walkthrough I was handed final paperwork including final balance due. I paid the amount provided but then was contacted that I had not paid the carpentry fees. When I questioned why the final balance hadn't included the carpentry fees I was just offered an apology for the confusion. 7) Warranty Another frustrating thing is that throughout this process they mentioned a few times that we had a 2- year warranty so if anything happens during those 2 years they would come back out and resolve the issue. From our perspective if we cannot get the job done correctly and before we make final payment then we might as well consider that warranty to be null and void. In our assessment, we will never be able to get CertaPro Painters back out to our house to resolve an issue we have with their poor workmanship.

Very professional, they have a well-designed, well-practiced process of estimating, washing and painting. They provided very clear documentation at the start of each stage, clearly describing the next steps. The crew worked hard every day and did a great job of washing, painting and cleaning up afterwards. Plants near the house were well protected. They were very flexible and accommodated requests to do certain areas first / last to help us manage where we kept our dog during painting. They did a great job with a special request on the dog kennel, as well!

Our home had been somewhat neglected over the years and needed a good cleaning before painting. This was a big job: two stories, dormers, rotting trim wood, wasps nest everywhere, and very dry cedar plank siding, lots of calking. The three man crew worked their butts off. We could eat off the surfaces that they cleaned. They were polite, friendly, appropriate, and hard working. We are so very pleased with the paint job. We had six bids and this company was right in the middle and we got our money's worth. I will hire these folks again in a heart beat. Nice to feel completely satisfied with a purchase these days. We hired CertaPro painters to paint the exterior of our house based on a recommendation from friends who used them a year prior. We had a good experience with them, too. After accepting an estimate (that was slightly lower than another estimate we got), the owner herself contacted us via e-mail and phone to guide us through the process, as this was the first time we painted a house. We got a date in the range we requested. A four-men crew who performed the job was efficient and courteous. The lead (Daniel) communicated with us clearly and was respectful of our requests like what plants to protect etc. We appreciated that the crew took time preparing the house by thorough caulking and replacing chipped planks. After they painted half of the house the first day, we realized we could not keep the color that we chose (experimenting a little). In alarm, we wrote an e-mail to Jessica (the owner) at night. She replied early morning and came to our house in person to help us resolve the trouble before the crew began their second day of work. She patiently discussed options with us. Then she called a store and ordered new paint based on our "plan B" color scheme. The crew picked up the paint within an hour and re-painted the entire house the second day. They stayed longer to finish the job and it looked great. The ill-fated color adventure did not even add that much on top of the original price - less than a quarter of the total. In summary, the services from CertaPro were professional and good quality. In addition, the personal attention and support given to us by the owner herself were remarkable and truly appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Jessica came to do the estimate the next day and the say after that a crew came in and painted a large double-story room (in using ceiling !) and our master bedroom. I have used Certa Pro Painters of the Eastside for both interior and exterior painting. Most recently, I had my home painted. My experience was excellent in every way. Steve came out to estimate the project; he was professional and answered all my questions. I was emailed a detailed estimate that was comprehensive and detailed. Jessica, the owner, emailed me with the process, instructions and a timeline. Obed and his team pressured washed my home and then began priming the bare wood and caulking. The next day they began painting. Three paint colors were used: body, trim and shutters and doors. The painters were polite, answered my questions and worked very hard. They were careful around my gardens, allowed me access to take my dog outside and left the worksite clean everyday. My house looks GREAT! I highly recommend them and will be having Certa Pro paint inside my home this fall.

The team that came to work on the deck and the bathroom were very professional. They did a great job of power washing the deck, then sanding and repainting/staining the deck. After the work was complete, they cleaned the floor under the deck so it was spotless. Similarly in the bathroom, they wiped down the walls and then painted the walls. All in all they did a very good job and we are very satisfied with their work.

We've used Certa Pro Painters Eastside twice...once this last summer for our exterior home and barn and just finished an interior job which included all the doors and casings, basement ceilings and guest room walls. These guys are meticulous. The finish lines between the walls and ceilings are perfect; much better when compared to the 2nd floor ceilings done by another painter a few years back. This is especially challenging as a rough finish on both the walls and ceilings. Basically, we just got out of their way, and they went to town. Always on time and worked really hard. The office staff (Jen) is super prompt in setting up appointments, revising the active work (which I had to do due to an oversight on my part), and answering any questions you might have. We quickly set up an appointment with the estimator (Jason) who arrived promptly and was thorough, helping us consider points we didn't at first. Bottom line: I highly recommend CertaPro Eastside and for us, we wouldn't consider any other outfit. AND we work done before the end of March (I think that's the cut off) has a 20% discount!

Dear Jessica and CertaPro Painters Eastside Team, Painting your home is quite an emotional process, let alone if this is the first time you do it. When we decided to go with CertaPro Painters, after meeting with few companies, we choose CertoPro as their selling rep. and following documentation were exactly as expected for such a project. (we had inside /outside painting projects). We are happy we were able to choose wisely. Both of our teams (inside and outside painters) were professional, courteous and with high working standards. As expected, I had a nervous breakdown when the first area was covered with the new color… the teams and field coordinator were not impressed (THANK G’D!). They were supportive, and asked me not to worry, even if I will decide to change color. I’m happy I didn’t- when the entire house was colored with chosen colors -Final result is fabulous, and they even did their best to cover old color imperfections. They did beautifully. Work was done within the frame of time allocated and handover was handled professionally; both Jessica and the team are 100% oriented towards customer satisfaction and minor note I had was dealt with utmost attention. Overall, we highly recommend CertoPro and I am so pleased with the results and equaly relieved color is behind us
