Mr. Fitz, called and arrived before he was expected. (good thing) We thought we would have to buy an whole new water heater, Mr. Fitz, was in there a short time and told me that it was a part that had been pinched when put in, and we did not need a new water heater! He worked fast, and made sure a fan was put in front of water heater, for maxium drying effect. He is very pleasant to be around, I would recomend him to anyone, and will not use anyone but Waterbury Heating and Cooling from this day forward. Thank you, Mr. Fitz!

He looked at my air for 2 mins said there was a leak and that I needed a new air conditioner. I asked what part had a leak. He wouldn’t tell me cause he said it was a waste of time and that I just need a new one. Myself not knowing much and it’s my first house, I asked what I need to get and he looked to see what my furnace looked like and said I need to replace that to without actually diagnosing the problem. He told me I will be without air for awhile cause he can’t do anything and that it was going to get really hot next week and that I’m out of luck. “no good news for you” he mentioned.... I asked if they had a portable air condition until it can be fixed he said they rent them out and I’m out of luck cause they are all being used. Charged me $101.00 dollars just to look at it for 2 minutes and tell me it’s going to get hot next week and he can’t do anything for me. My husband works for a company that uses them for all the houses they build and I feel like his company should really go to someone else and not be taken advantage of. I’m very disappointed.

Do not trust their boss!!! We had our outside spigot replaced in April 2016. New "frost free" one failed last week. Technician admitted it was because he failed to seal it properly... Boss said we still had to pay to have it replaced because it's been over a year. $300 I don't have, and SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY!!!!!!

I've used Waterbury several times in the past. They arrive when scheduled, clearly answer any questions I have and go the extra mile to do to a proper and clean service call. On my latest service call they replaced a water heater. Tim asked if I would like separate shut off valve added just for the water heater. I could tell that it wasn't a sales pitch to increase the bill. It was a logical question that I never would have thought to ask. It only took a few minutes extra to install but now if there are any "hot water" issues in the future, I won't have to shut off the whole house.

Waterbury lacks professionalism. After installation of gas line, we were charged double what they quoted us. They also failed to have the gas line inspected, which led to problems down the road when we tried to have our gas fireplace installed. We will never use them again.

He called for a new heater, which was delivered while he took out the old one. He quickly replaced the water heater and checked the unit. Our water heater took a dump on us this weekend. I called the company that was tagged on our old water heater, and got a message telling us to email them...Bull Butter. I wanted to talk to someone. So I called Waterbury and by 11AM they had a technician at my house. He informed me what I had already figured out. Then he proceeded to tell me that they don't sell that brand, but that it should be under warranty. Troy called and turns out it was under warranty. He then called the office and they sent someone to go pick up a new water heater. I was only charged labor and removal fee. I was very happy with the service and will definitely keep my business at Waterbury.

Waterbury sent Casey to my house to check out my Central Air AC unit. He fixed the leaks and recharged my AC unit for a fair price (under $200 including labor). He didn't try to sell me anything. He gave me all of my options so I could make an educated decision. I filled out the online application form and Sherri got back to me right away to schedule an appointment. I hate talking on the phone, so the online form was a nice touch :). Overall, I'm very satisfied with the communication and service provided. Thank you and keep up the great work!

My Lennox/Waterbury experience was great. The Waterbury salesman was knowledgeable and friendly. He was very prompt about returning calls to answer questions and very exact on his recommendations. Once I agreed on the purchase everything went exactly as promised. Paperwork was signed and the installers called before they came and installed the system. They were friendly and neat and made every effort to make sure when they left we would not know they had been here. Their explanation of how the system operates was exactly like the salesman's and we couldn't be happier with the new system. Disjointed scheduling on their part. I spoke with Holly on 6/10 and we scheduled for 6/15 at noon. She forwarded the information on my issues to Mark. I received a call from Mark on 6/14 to discuss the service. He was not initially aware of my being on the schedule for the next day. He suggested that I have a technician come and make sure things were in order. I told him that would be great and that I was on the schedule and he said that a tech would be there and that he (Mark) would also come out if he was available. I received a call from Holly at around 8:45 AM on 6/15 asking what it was that needed to be done. She asked if all we were doing was a quote and I told her about my conversation with Mark the previous morning. She then spoke with Mark and he said that he could not look at anything until a technician serviced everything. She said that a technician was not available for my scheduled appointment that day and asked if I could reschedule for the following week. I then told her how I took time off to be present during the appointment and that I would not be willing to reschedule. Given this experience, I would rather go elsewhere than to wait through more of this back and forth with a company wherein no one is on the same page.

We called Waterbury on a saturday to fix a leaking supply water valve for the washer. They got here within 10 to 15 minutes. Troy the tech replaced both hot and cold since they were both pretty old. I think it only took him 15 minutes and the job was done. Troy was awesome and gave us a great recommendation for a water softener which we hope we can get Troy to install and considering this was after hours it was very inexpensive. We will definitely be calling them the next time we need service.

It took them telling me that we HAD to get a new furnace immediately and then to hear their insane price, which was about the cost of a brand new car, to get other opinions. After a month, my air conditioner is finally working (for now.) I spent $10,000 on this system and in the first two weeks my water heater went out and my air conditioner froze up. I replaced two working units that I never had an issue with, with a very expensive, poorly made Lennox system. The thermostat I was up sold on cost nearly $500 and works about 30% of the time and is no where near as quick or reliable as the much cheaper Nest or Honeywell smart thermostats I've had in the past. The app is horrible, it once was quicker for me to drive eight miles to change my thermostat than to try to access it remotely. I will not recommend Lennox or Waterbury to anyone.

Tim called in advance to tell me when he would arrive at our house to install a water heater. Tim explained to me what needed to be done and what I could expect the approx. cost should be. Tim recommended replacing the incoming main water line gate valve with a ball valve because of problems they can have when you turn them on and off very little. Mark came over and originally said he wouldn't give a us a quote until our flooring was ripped out. We decided that we would not be replacing the flooring until after the vents so we called him back out to look at it again. He eventually came back with a quote that was a decent price for what we wanted but now nobody will call us back. We have been attempting to get a hold of Mark to schedule a time for him to come out for over 2 weeks, probably longer but we get every excuse in the book from the receptionist as to why he has not gotten a hold of us yet. It's honestly very frustrating and would not recommend them if you are planning on getting a job done within a certain amount of time.

Our water heater went out on Saturday, and their after-hours support phone representative thoughtfully informed me that there is a $40 after-hours charge for service. So, I decided to wait until Monday to get it fixed. The plumber (Tim) showed up right away on Monday morning, answered my stupid questions about water heaters and discussed my options before diving into the repair. He then fixed it within 20 minutes. He was very courteous and professional. The price to replace the thermo couple in our water heater (a common fix) was very reasonable. We have also called Waterbury for furnace troubleshooting in the past and they are more than happy to speak to you over the phone and are not pushy in any way. Their friendly, courteous service is refreshing and I will definitely give them my business again in the future.

Our HVAC installer did a great job. He made sure to have the AC going before he left after the first day of work, (a 2 day job). My only complaint was the lack of floor protection and shoe covers when performing work indoors. Plenty of debris tracked through the house, but he did do a great job cleaning up around the furnace area indoors when the job was complete. Also, the guy delivering the new equipment was very kind but not especially careful about bumping into the walls with the equipment.

He informed me what the process would be and did it very quickly. He also took time to look at my water softener and adjusted that for better performance. All old parts were removed. Troy was very friendly and took the time to not only explain the water heater settings but also to answer my questions. Great job Waterbury for having Troy on your team!!

Troy Fitz from Waterbury Heating & Cooling came out today to change out my main water valve & to replace my hot water heater. He was very friendly & knowledgeable & completed the entire job in less than 2 hours. He also took the time to show me how to troubleshoot my new hot water heater & how to turn off my main water valve with the new lever. I have used this company before & have always been impressed with their service. I highly recommend Waterbury if you are in need of plumbing, heating, or cooling services!

I had a new garage built and decided to have them do all the wiring. The rough-in was poorly laid out and had to be somewhat re-done, and they stretched the job into at least 6 trips, often because they didn't seem to have the right parts on the truck. One trip was due to a failed city inspection. The job ended up being billed over twice the amount of the original estimate. I would never use them again.

If I could put 0 stars I would but that isn’t an option. My furnace went out yesterday morning. Kelly from Waterbury was the technician that came to assess the issue the. I have an old furnace but has been working great all winter. He told me the motor in the furnace is broken and that they don’t make this motor anymore. The only options he left me with were to buy a similar motor for $500 (with no gaurentee it would fix the issue) or buy a completely new furnace for 3 grand. Come to find out they do still make the motor and it was an easy and cheap fix by someone else ($200). While Kelly was profession, I feel as though I was professionally taken advantage of. I am young and this is my first house and my knowledge about furnace’s is minimal but there were many red flags. If this company is comfortable with trying to take advantage of a young women in crisis I believe that depletes all moral and ethical value of this company. I highly recommend never using their services.

Appointment was scheduled for address in Madison SD to look at a central air unit. Waterbury was well aware of location considering they were given the address at the time the appointment was made . We were contacted the morning of the appointment stating they don't service Madison SD. Apparently there are Waterbury trucks driving around Madison on a regular basis. What we believe happened was the company drove by the residence and took one look at the house and figured they wouldn't get enough money out of it. My parents purchased the house very cheap and are in the process of remodeling it, so the state of it is less than pleasent. I'm fairly positive this company profiles and discriminates. Choose a different company.
