Our water heater broke late on Thursday night and Friday by 1:00 I had a tech in my house ready to replace it. As he looked it over, he saw that it was still under warranty. Instead of selling me a new one, he told me about the warranty, called the company for me and got the number I needed to get the free replacement. They also provided transport for the new one to my house and installed it that day for one flat, low price. I will always use Frisbee in the future and recommend them highly!

We have two words for the Frisbee team... "Well Done". Our experience with your company started with a checkup on our furnace and our ailing humidifier. Your service representative came at the appointed time, checked the furnace and fixed the humidifier, rather made the necessary repairs which were better than the orginal installation and more importantly he explained the changes he made and why. That is just excellent customer service. Also at that time, my wife Carla said we were looking at a new air conditioner and would like an estimate. Within forty-eight hours, Lanny Murphy made arrangements to present a proposal. This was important since we had made a request from anohter firm some sixty days prior and have yet to get a response. Here again, Lanny arrived at the appointed hour, explained what unit would be best and why. Once again, another Frisbee employee with excellent customer service skills. The following day I came to the Frisbee office and filled out the paperwork for financing and again, that extra effort was made to make certain I was given personal service so that the approval only took minutes. Just more great customer service. Finally, the day of installation, Steve arrived exactly on time and began the installation. He took care to explain that changes were made and more importantly, why he had made the changes, which is greatly appreciated. Steve is one more example of the highly professional and courteous Frisbee people. Carla and I have always been real sticklers about customer service, having our own business, so to have a firm also always provide "more in use value than requested in monetary value" is truly an exception. I called Frisbees today to set up an appointment for a tech to come look at my central air unit. The service agent asked if I was Seth (I am a female) and then asked if Seth was my husband. No, that must have been the previous owners, I said. She updated my information and I had to call back with times that I would be available for this visit. When I called the second time, I was put on hold and then transferred three different times. Finally, when someone picked up again, they told me that a bill for work in 2005 was in collections and I needed to take care of it first. I didn’t own the house in 2005, and because I had just updated my info, I thought it was clear that I am not Seth. But the update must not have gone through. The woman said she would transfer me back to the service department again so that I could update my info and get on the calendar, but I declined.

After hours tech was mad, I think he preferred I waited till the morning to fix my AC. He was rude to my husband, slammed things around and almost left without giving us a receipt or information on the part's warranty. I guess I understand it was late but it's his job and I paid a whole lot for the after hour service.. however he did his job quickly and was efficient thus the 3 stars.

Called to get an estimate on my AC unit and was told they don't do free estimates. How do I know if I want to use your service if you won't tell me how much it costs ubless you do the work. Kind of fishy if you ask me.

I had a great experience with the guy who come to my home and gave me the estimate. I decided to go with them since they were priced a bit lower and I had built good rapport with the sales person. I had a new air conditioner installed and everything went smoothly until it came time for it to be turned on. I had to wait 5 hours for the service person to show up to turn it on and of course it was a hot summer day and reached 90 degrees inside. I called and spoke to dispatch numerous times and they kept telling me that he was on the way. I thought I would give them another shot and get an estimate for plumbing. I called 2 times and was on hold for over 10 minutes each to set up an appointment for an estimate. When I spoke to the lady who answers the phone and transfers you, I told her that I have been holding, her response is "they are busy". To me, that sounds like they have some issues and have lost my future business.

Frisbees came out and went above and beyond to find the parts to repair my existing units saving me thousands!! I found water leaking in two different rooms of the house, of course on a Saturday. I called several plumbing companies and asked the same questions. Availability to fix the leak, hourly rate, etc. After getting what I thought was correct information which was $112.50 for after hours. The other company was $150.00 and didn't know when they could get there. The gentleman arrived several hours later than what had been discussed. I had found where the leak was so he cut out the ceiling sheetrock and after asked if I had any plastic to lay down--a large sheet!! I had to put towels down and cover what was in the room. I would think they would bring this with them since it was a water leak. It took him 1/2hour to fix, was not very friendly but when I received the bil it was for $231.00. I called them and they charge $112.50 to drive to the house and then when they cross the threshold they start the clock for another minimum charge of $112.50 per hour--1 hour minimum then the part which was $1.44. This was not disclosed, which I find very deceptive since I asked specifically for the cost. When I called they said this is what they charge--DO NOT use these guys or get it in writing first.

These people/business has help us so much. When first arriving to Sioux Falls I needed a sump pump. Being unfamiliar with my location I called a company called Golden Rule. BBBBiiiiggggggg mistake. After investigation I found I was charged double of Frisbees. I received a quoted for a new airco/heating system from Golden Rule and, again, Frisbees cut my costs by 6 - $7000 with a very high grade system. Frisbees has never failed me with quality products and quality work. Frisbees has thus far put in: Airco/heating system, hot water heater, water soften system (replacing my Culligan system and will pay for itself in about two years and lasts about 20 - 25 years), etc. Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Frisbees is the best.

Frisbees treated me like $h!t; they wouldn't even allow a technician to call me, so that I could ask them a question. Seems to me that by not allowing me to ask a technician a question about how to light the pilot light on my furnace, they might lose money, because I might be able to do it myself. I can tell you this, THEY'VE LOST A CUSTOMER. I will share my experience with my neighbors, advising that they be aware of Frisbees business practices...THEY SUCK.

Within the course of 4 business days, they had a tech review our old furnace situation (it needed to be replaced), had someone out with a quote, and installed the new unit, in addition to fixing some other issues with our flue. Communication throughout this process went very well, and personnel at Frisbees were always available to answer my questions. Thanks!

I was working with a different company before making the switch to Frisbees. After the previous company had to come out for the third time to fix my AC (misdiagnosing the problem each time) and spending $1000+ on repairing it, I called Frisbees. The tech found the problem within 5 minutes. He showed me the leak in my A coil and we decided to go through with a replacement of the entire AC unit since the cost of replacing a coil is more than half the cost of installing a new more efficient unit. I also decided to replace the furnace at the same time, since my furnace was nearly 19 years old and was having a hard time keeping the lower level warm. I received multiple quotes for full furnace and AC replacement, and Frisbees came out on top. They offer 0% financing over 3 years for furnace and AC replacement. It made the huge expense a lot more bearable to me, as I've had a lot of bad luck this year with things breaking in my house. On the day of installation, they arrived right on time and started tearing out the old units. They set everything up and left my place cleaner than it was before. The installation look great, and it only took them about 8 hours to fully complete it. Frisbees also handled all the registering of the new equipment so that I would get my 10 year warranties, and they showed me how to use the new thermostat. The whole process was stress-free for me. I will say that I noticed a little bit of condensation pooling around my new furnace after having it on. Given that it's an energy efficient model, I knew that condensation was normal, but not on the under side of the unit. They came out and fixed a minor installation problem with the new PVC chimney the very next day. It's been great since. I've had only great experiences with Frisbees so far, and I highly recommend them.

We heard about Frisbee through our local banker in town, our furnace had gone out, and we were looking for good quailty at a reasonable price. Frisbee came out within a couple days for the estimate and provided us with a couple different options, along with a great discount for paying with with cash/check. Their discount they offered for this allowed us to go with the higher quality furnace that without the discount would not have been something we could have afforded. We called to schedule the service, and they were able to have the furnace installed within 2 days. While out here their crew was VERY polite and professional, and appeared to work great together as a team. Our water heater was on its way out, and Frisbee gave us a great offer, and had a new water heater put in that same day as well! I would highly recommend them to everybody, they offer great pricing, options, and professionalism. We will for sure use them for future projects that we have in mind!

Updated initial review: Came to hook up our fridge water stop valve but showed us where it was since we had it hooked up already, and that was basically it. Charged us $125 for that! He was here for only 10 minutes. While he was here he assisted in hooking up a fridge we could have done ourselves without his help and charged an extra $45! When we called prior to him coming they said it would be $75 per hour and that’s it, plus parts. Called inquiring about the bill and the lady couldn’t do much for us, and unsympathetic. Update: My husband talked to Marty and he discussed it better and helped make it right. For the next time as a suggestion please have your receptionist explain the initial charges better in regards to the service fees and any additional charges;and also the guy on site explain there will be a charge before proceeding forward and that will help eliminate any confusion and negative responses.

This review has been a long time coming, we built a house in 2015 frisbee was the Plumbing/HVAC sub. Everything Frisbee installed had issues, pipes banging on the walls, leaks under kitchen sink which damaged the sink base. HVAC ductwork ticking, banging and booming which it's still doing to this day. They did try and get the ductwork to quiet down but they essentially blew us off with "You have to let the house dry out and settle" which I knew was a load of BS. So now four years later after the "house has dried out and settled" guess what HVAC system STILL ticks, bangs and booms when expanding/contracting plus two pipes still tick when expanding with hot water. Imagine that, thanks for the subpar work Frisbee's you'll never be a sub in anything else for me again

Our water heater stopped working and needed replaced. We were quoted $2300 for a new water heater by a company through Home Depot after they came out and took a look. They told that we needed an expansion tank and a bunch of extra stuff. Frisbee quoted us $960 and advised that we absolutely did not need those things. They were there promptly at 8 AM the day after we scheduled, they offer six months no interest and the entire thing cost us.. *drum roll* ... $960! We are so very grateful for Frisbee! A++

Stayed home from work with a four hour block (sort of like the cable company) when they could show up at my home for plumbing services. Called once mid-afternoon to confirm they would be showing up. They confirmed....then dispatch called with five minutes to spare at the end of the day and wanted to reschedule. Don't use them...call somebody else. Miserable scheduling and poor customer service. I had been a frequent customer over the years (this was dismissed) with a "generally favorable" opinion....not anymore.

Thank Thank you Frisbee for sending me out a very GREAT service technician. I was in distress over seeing under my sink was flooded with water dripping for who knows how long.Kelvin Egan came out next day on time. Lokked under my sink and right away said your supply tube is leaking from your faucet. Said I needed a new faucet. I put new cupboards and sink and faucet in 2000. Which Frisbee installed then too. Kelvin said wait a minute went out to his van and came back with a 1 800 number to Moen"s. I called them and my faucet was still under warranty. They overnited the new faucet to me by Thursday. Kelvin came out and replaced my new faucet in a matter of minutes. I would of never knew I had a warranty still. Thank you Kelvin. I am disabled from 5 failed back surgeries.So I don"t have alot of extra money to go buy a new faucet. And also when Kelvin was done installing my new faucet ha asked me for a bucket. Put some water and hilex in there and washed down the bottom of my warped board. He said aliitle mold was forming. He went over and above. The Experience I had with Frisbee,Kelvin was a 5 star treatment. I will spread the experience to Family and Friends. Thank you for everything. You have a excellent tech on board. HVAC review: Lanny Review: We have used Frisbee for venting a Washer Dryer move and New AC and furnace. In over 100 degree weather, they had everything replaced installed and running in 48 hrs of my call. For the first job we had 3 top companies in Sioux Falls quote it out...and Frisbee had the best quote saving us hundreds of dollars...and the employees were much easier to work with then all the other companies. They give you a really competitive quote and they stick to it. I did my research before choosing them for the job and their excellent service confirmed we chose the right company! Don't waste your time anywhere else.

Called them a week ago to come out and look at my ac unit. When I gave them the address they had the previous owner on file stating they had previously done work here. They called me the day of to let me know their tech was on the way only to have them call two minutes later to tell me they don't work on mobile home units. This was scheduled for a week and you tell me the day of that I need to call someone else...your site says all ac models if that isn't the case why isn't that changed or why isn't that a question you ask when customers call?

called to see if they could come to our house to help bypass a water softener that decided to 'blow', leaving a water mess in our basement. The gal I talked to didn't listen to my question, she only asked what brand it was, and that they only service one brand of softener..and since it's not that brand, they can't help. Mind you that wasn't even my question, we just needed somebody to come out and help get the pipes done to be able to turn the water back into the house! Rude service, wont' call them again under the best conditions.

Stay away from this place they will RIP you off. The person that came out said it would not cost that much to put a new condensation pump for our furnace, he hooked it up, plugged it in and was gone in (20 minutes tops). Received the bill they charged me 241.36 for the pump which you can get it at home depot for 52.00 after doing some research. Plus another 100.00 for the service call. Price gouging at its finest and very deceptive!

A++! Would recommend. We received amazing service received from Frisbee when a water spot appeared in our basement ceiling. Extreme professionalism from technician Johnny, who was able to isolate the problem, cut and solder a replacement pipe and then crimp it into place, all in less than 2 hours. We are impressed by the speed of service and availability of skilled staff. We had a minor issue with our first visit, and they came out to do a follow-up visit to make the issue right for FREE. What a great company!

Frisbees has been our go to for so many projects of varying degrees. Our home is almost 50 years old and it seems nothing is easy to do and Frisbees has always come to the rescue. They have fixed a past owners faulty wiring job, worked by my side to finish up a bathroom remodel, and simply fixed a leaky faucet. There has never been a time that I had to have the technician come back and address the same issue. Also, the technicians have called my cell phone when they are headed over to work on a project so I can just meet them instead of having to wait around for an extensive window of time that other companies demand. Whether it is a broken water heater (that they discovered for me didn't need replacing which saved us that investment), electrical, or anything in between, it has been great to know they will always be there to help keep our home comfortable and I just have to call 1 place for it all!

Horrible service.... Brand new house a.c. and heating unit had to deal with them coming out to fix stuff for the last 18 months.... Only nothing gets fixed for more than 6 weeks... Then when the Heat has stopped working during polar vortex they want to blame MY FAMILY for the equipment THEY DECIDED TO INSTALL and charge us additional fees AS AN EMERGENCY? When my language became adult in content from frustrations I was then told to find a new company to work on it and that It was my problem. Horrible... How ANY company could operate like that... Its called accountability. To act as though my billing concerns had anything to do with them fixing their own mistake is childish... I wish I could say that their managment was better but sadly I cannot as their SERVICE MANAGER was the unsympathetic individual that took time to call me back to then tell me, at this point still his customer, how I an adult should and shouldnt talk...some nerve.... To act like we as customers should have empathy for your call center because of all of the calls that are going on yet you and your call center have no sympathy or empathy for the customers that are going through needing heat which your equipment is supposed to supply without the need for constant service calls is a mockery of a consumer based economy.

We have been customers for many years and Frisbee's has always provided the best service for our personal and 8 rental units HVAC needs. Recently however, the customer service attitude has seemed to slip. We have had some questions about some different issues we have had ( which by the way in the past would never have happened) and have been told that they will not bring it up to the service department because skilled HVAC workers are hard to find in this competitive market and they can't take a chance and lose a worker over some sort of trivial customer service issue . They bill our rental occupants instead of us, they refuse to advise us of what work was done on the rental unit as they are leaving the unit, they create stories about what happened to cover their tracks. As you can tell by the tone of this review, I have become a very disenchanted customer and am looking to replace Frisbees.

The service was great. They were fast coming to the house and making the repairs. Caution dealing with them and the insurance. My insurance had to contact them multiple times and when they finally received the paperwork, they did not annotate any reason why I needed the repair. The insurance company said without this statement, they could not pay for the repair. I had to pay 1700$ myself because of this.

Awesome service even though I only needed a small part! I brought in a disassembled water hydrant and the guy working there took me back found what I needed, then he actually took the part I brought in and put it in the vice and cut off a piece that I would need to re-use.

We were BEYOND grateful for Frisbee's. We had a sump pump failure and a lot of flooding last summer (summer of 2018) and had decided to look into a new one just prior to the torrential rains of March 2019. We were amazed that the person was able to come the day before those rains, install the pump and work with our 16 year old daughter, who was the only one home. She raved about how kind he was, and his name is Russ. THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts! We stayed dry.

Service Department Scheduler doesn’t understand basic plumbing. She said to call sprinkler guy for a brass shut off valve from main water line. Maybe just too busy for something that small. After I took a picture of it and stopped by their office to show her what the valve looked like. She said “Oh, ya we can change that!”. I Recommend going elsewhere.
