Knolwood Apts

Servpro did an awesome job cleaning several units here at Knolwood I and II. We had a couple of frozen pipes that busted back in the winter and within the hour Servpro was on site to help with extracting water from the units. I am very pleased with their services. Cindy Sue is always dropping by with surprises. Cookies, fruit and candy. She is a very caring and helpful and represents her company well. Everybody loves her. Thanks

The ServPro staff was quick to respond to our call for service, scheduled a meeting to discuss what was needed and expected, and followed through quickly and thoroughly. There was also great follow up and a prepared emergency ready profile in case we had any other problems and needed to contact emergency professionals in the future. We have been very satisfied with the service received and would recommend them to anyone.

We bought a house a couple of years ago which had sat empty for several years. There was a constant layer of dust which was present even immediately after dusting. I contacted SERVPRO of Kershaw & Lancaster Counties to provide a Duct Cleaning. They were timely, and professional throughout the entire process. We were absolutely amazed at the immediate result. First we noticed the dust factor was no longer an issue, and much to our surprise, upon receiving our utility bill, the amount had dropped drastically. We hired this company to clean a home we had just closed on. They came highly recommended so my husband employed them. I have severe health issues and hiring them was supposed to take the burden off of me and allow our home to be "move-in ready" on the day the movers brought our stuff. We hired them to clean the home, get rid of smoke smell, do cabinets and walls and clean the carpets. We were told not to move the couches, that they would take care of that. Also we were told they had a spray to use on the couches to rid the smoke smell. I walk in 3 days after the clean....the smoke smell was so thick, it hit me like a wall. The kitchen sink was filthy, both bathrooms were barely done, laundry room hadn't been swept or mopped , had not been vacuumed under furniture and there was a white residue on my walls. We called them and complained. So after the blame was placed on the "new guy", they didn't come back out until the day the movers were bringing in all our stuff. They did clean the bathrooms. Their employee mentioned casually to me that when he was there before that he tried to move one couch and broke the leg, so I should be careful. They left a machine to "clean the air" and the smoke smell would be gone! ...they claimed. It still smells like smoke. I moved the couches that they were supposed to have cleaned the carpet under and vacuumed up a bad of dirt. The spray they used on the furniture , they only used on one side of the cushions. Upon unloading my dishes into cabinets, we discovered sticky residue, so we wiped them down and our cloths turned brown. There was a spot on the counter that took over 10 minutes to clean. They did not mop at all. So now, in the middle of all the chaos of unpacking and moving and going to doc appts b/c i am so sick, not only did I waste $300 on a company that did not do what they said they would and now won't return our calls, but I have to do all the cleaning myself that we wasted the money paying them to do. Having to rent a shampoo carpet cleaner to clean smoke smell out from under furniture, buy special cleaner to remove smoke smell from walls and cabinets. will NEVER use them again and I am seriously considering legal action.

So when I had an grease fire in my apartment community and needed a professional cleaning service, the only company I thought of was Servpro. I called Jamie and within 30 minutes he was on site. Jamie was incredibly helpful and responsive in all the stages. CindySue and Jamie were able to make a very stressful and unfortunate situation manageable. Servpro of Kershaw & Lancaster Counties did an emergency repair for us (Habitat for Humanity of Lancaster County), to help us help a disabled senior citizen right at the Christmas holidays when work scheduling is difficult. They gave us a reasonable price, a good response time and job turnaround, and did an excellent job. They also followed up a couple of days after work was performed in the same area by others, to be sure no further repairs were needed. We highly recommend them!
