Extremely pleased with Radon Systems. We already had a radon system in place and had levels below the EPA guidelines (~3.5 basement), but I decided I wanted them lower. I was skeptical of how much better we could do, given we have rock ledge taking up about a third of our basement. John and his team were responsive, thoughtful and affordable. They replied quickly, scheduled promptly and showed up on time. But what impressed me most was how they thoughtfully assessed the situation and problem solved step by step. This ultimately saved us work, inconvenience and money, and got our levels much lower than I'd thought was possible. They reviewed photos of our basement first and recommended against the more expensive options. On site, they checked air flow and discovered our current system wasn't moving any air on the opposite side of the basement. Then, they went the extra step of checking the current pipe entry point in the foundation and found there was no air pocket. Once they created an air pocket and replaced our fan with a more powerful one, it made a huge difference in air flow and saved us needing to add a second entry point in the foundation. The result is a radon level of well under 1.0 in the basement. We're lucky that the ledge in our basement apparently isn't producing much radon, but I'm very impressed with these guys all the way around. Wish I'd used them originally.

I had a radon mitigation system installed by Radon Systems LLC when I found out that the Radon level was at 6.7 pCi/L. John had guaranteed that the radon levels will be brought below 2.0 pCi/L when he quoted the job. After the initial installation the Radon level was measured at 2.5. John sent his employee again to put it in an additional suction point and then followed up again with a higher CFM fan to get the Radon level under 2.0. All this for his original quote which was reasonable. He was responsive throughout the project and his employees did a clean job and were responsive as well. I am so glad that I went with Radon Systems LLC after talking to 4 other contractors.

Yes, I called John and within 2 minutes we closed the deal, a great price for the kind of service I could see in his website was tops, after seeing many other competing companies. Another John came to do the installation, right on time, as a matter of fact almost 30 minutes earlier than scheduled, and I immediately knew, this John and John team strives for excellence. Sure enough, from the explanation of the job, to the search for the best location, to the finishing details, everything was done to perfection. All within the estimated three hours. The mitigation had to be done, the test came back at 1, down from 9, and I only wish John and John could offer other home maintenance services so I could hire them again ;-) Don't hire anyone else, save money and get it done by the best. I emailed Radon Systems on a Saturday morning and received a phone call from the owner, John Spokis, within 30 minutes! Radon Systems is unique in that they have one set price (which was significantly less than all other quotes I received, btw), no adders and do not require a home visit. This approach to hassle free pricing was completely different from their competition and with all of the other moving parts involved in purchasing a new home, it was a breath of fresh air to hear this. Our basement initially tested at 37+, but Radon Systems guarantees below 2. Sure enough, my results just came back and my basement tested at 1.1!!! Surprisingly, if for some reason the test came back above 2, they would make necessary revisions at no additional cost. The tech/crew who worked at my house in North Reading, John Tyck, was nothing short of top notch. He was professional, courteous, friendly, worked hard and left no mess behind. I don't know what he's paid, but it's not enough. I've already notified my realtor to begin using Radon Systems as her go-to radon mitigation company and I will continue to spread the word to anyone who will listen. Keep up the great work!

We had JP came over and help to install our Radon System last week. He is patient, professional and great with what he does. He explained everything in details that helped me to understand what the system is like and what exactly it is doing. How to monitor and observe the functionalities to ensure the system is still running properly. Our Radon Level were at 9.6 pCi/L before the mitigation system. We ran another test few days after the system was installed and just got the test result back today. The result indicating the level is now at 0.6, which is optimal :) I strongly recommend their services to anyone that needs Radon Treatments!

My pipe was installed a year and a half ago. I have a metal roof so during the heavy, wet snow of March 2018, the avalanching snow from the roof ripped off the pipe from the house and actually broke it in half!!! I called John and he came just as arranged. He takes great care and pride with his work. I was charged a service call fee and it's up and running again in a place where it doesn't come off the roof so hard.
