He didn't even mind the two kiddos running around the house with Nerf guns and they are not a quiet lot. Sean also let me know that his company just switched to a new computer system so that I should expect a slight learning curve. We have used National Refrigeration for years. Great company.

National Refrigeration is our vendor, for 23 years now. They are very fair with pricing and will communicate the pro's and cons in a very understanding manner. Hi, today we had Charles Fitzgerald from National Refrigeration visit our home to service our HVAC system. Charles was very polite and courteous and got right to work. We had several questions and concerns to ask regarding the system and Charles checked out each concern and answered each question with detailed explanations. Charles was neat as he came in and out of our condo to the point where he walked around our condo to get to the back of our unit to service the compressor. We thanked Charles very much for his service and thank you National Refrigeration for having such experienced and efficient service staff. Also, we want to commend National Refrigeration for their customer service, who took our request for service and helped us schedule a date that worked for us. Also, their followup calls to remind us of our service date and time were very helpful. National Refrigeration, A great organization.

The three gentleman, Rito, Sean, and Charles, who installed my new furnace and air conditioner were very professional. For a while I wasn't sure that they would be able to get some venting into a tight space, but they hung tough and finished the job. These men seemed to be dedicated to doing a good job. Jared L from National Refrigeration has done a great job maintaining our heating/cooling system, and in patiently diagnosing any issues with our somewhat fickle geo-thermal system. He has been thorough and hard working, professional and polite, has been neat and has cleaned up after his work. He is mindful of our home (cloth booties over boots, if only all contractors would be so mindful). National Refrigeration does great work, and I would highly recommend them. Doreen who does their scheduling does a great job. She gets back to you right away, and is really efficient, professional and friendly.

We have 3 Central AC units, one installed by them and Sean has been our service tech for years. We couldn't be happier with the service we receive. As a "Comfort Club"member Sean keeps our systems running as efficient as possible and notices small repairs before they become an expensive repair or cause a breakdown. We have never been happier with any other service company, from the office to their tech's they are the best !!!

I have been dealing with this company for 20yrs. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. Great service always. Had a regular service call done today. Dave was the service tech. Was right on time/ even a few minutes early. Explained what he was doing as he went along. showed me a couple of things I didn't know about the heating unit. Very personable and friendly. Very satisfied with all aspects of service

EDIT to response: I didn't refuse to pay, we called several times to explain the situation. There was no return phone call, we did not find out we were put on this "list" until we called in the spring, after we were still paying for the "club" to get preferred service. With the amount of money we spent on the units, this could have been resolved in a better manner. Considering the response, other people can make their decision on the facts listed below. There was no communication, just a lot of money spent and then tossed aside after several years of being a customer. A return phone call was all we asked to discuss our issue. There are good reviews on this site. I think that speaks to the quality of the employees. I wanted to share a different perspective and where ownership really failed. We were customers for over 5 years. Part of the club, that we paid into to be on a priority list. We purchased two air condensers from here. In total over $12,000-$13,000 in revenue to National. We had an issue where the new units were not running. We called the number and the tech showed up. He was not our normal tech, rude and did not solve the problem. He spent all of 10 minutes in our house and said he want sure what the issue could be and said he couldn't help.. It turned out the emergency master switch was turned off. He didn't check that. We did, however, receive a $220 bill with no work completed. Again, lets look at the history of the customer and investment they made with National. My wife called to discuss this, the owner was supposed to call us back. She tried several times, and no return phone call. We never received any further information. It wasn't until the following year that they just put us on a no service list. So despite ALL of the money and years as a loyal customer. The owner could not be bothered to speak to a long time customer to clarify the issue, and look at our history. The fact they were ALWAYS paid on time, and consistent club members. Could not be bothered, just shuffled us off to a list and brushed us aside. So its important to know this story when you are deciding to spend money with this company. We found replacement companies to come in, where they had to service the units and actually do repairs of the units National installed incorrectly. All at our expense. I used to rave to my family and friends about them. So loyalty does not count when it comes to ownership here. The technicians, despite our one, were always helpful. Its a shame it ended in this way.

I do not write review often. But This organization is top notch! I needed a gas furnace and AC replacement and did a fair amount of research on different systems and cost. I went to two other companies to get estimates before going to National. I prefer talking to people face to face and went to their location in Warwick, RI. My initial meeting was with a service supervisor, Brian K. Great first impression, Brian was courteous, professional and informative. He encouraged me to describe what my desires were in a new system and walked me through several pros and cons of the options available. He was definitely not trying to sell me on the highest end models and was more concerned about me being informed on potential decisions. Several days later Brian came out to the house to perform the estimate. Again, he was very informative as we discussed different options and expectations and got me a proposal within a day. National’s quote came in lower than the others and when dealing with their support department Doreen was professional, a pleasure to deal with. Solid customer service you wish you got from every company. On the day of installation Brian, Sean D. and Rito S. performed the work. I mean they worked… I am a details person and these guys paid attention to the details. The epitome of professional and quality. Hey National Refrigeration, give these guys a raise. Semper Fi, Joe

National Refrigeration installed my furnace and central air new seven years this coming September. Since I signed for a service contract whereas they come twice yearly, spring and fall readying the furnace/air for the season. There service has been on time and without concern until recently. Early spring, right after the tech visited I phoned National Refrigeration inquiring into the condition of the outside coils on my central air. Each year prior the tech put some fluid on them and they looked like new. This year they remained dull, stained like. Their service said someone would phone me back which did not happen. Two weeks ago when I went down to my basement I noticed water flowing down the walls. I checked for leaks in the water pipe and could not find anything however the sil was wet as was the insulation. I called my plumber who came over and checked his work for leaks inside and out and could not find anything. Then he went outside and checked the air conditioner and fount the insulation on the freon coils from the air conditioner into the house was deteriorated. You could actually see the coils. The insulation was rotted "like". Where the pipe went into the house was and headed downward was full of condensation sweating up beads of water thus following the pipe depositing its wetness on the house sil, insulation, thus the water on the wall. I went out and got some electric putty and filled the hole preventing water/condensation from entering. Paid my plumber and promptly phoned National Refrigeration service relating the above story and asking what am I getting in terms of service when this preventable occurrence happens? They said that the service manager was not in and would phone me on Monday. Today is Friday following that Monday and no word from National Refrigeration Representative. Good products however in my opinion, be wary of their service abilities.

We have now been with National Refrigeration for three years after our previous company Standish Heating & AC went out of business! Have to say they are excellent & very professional, starting with Doreen in the office. Today we were happy to have Ryan come out for our fall maintenance. He was excellent, as he has been in the past & is very professional, personable, thorough & knowledgeable. He took the time in servicing our units & to answer all our questions & explain our options. We are happy to report both units are working perfectly! We have also had Rito, David & Jarrod in the past & were very pleased with their work also. When we called the main number, Doreen answered and immediately arranged for the needed service. She was very calm and professional which we appreciated at the time. Later that day repair technician Rito came to our home and diagnosed our HVAC issue. The parts were ordered and shortly thereafter Rito returned and fixed the HVAC issue. In the meantime he left us two space heaters which really helped as the outside temps were in single digits. We found Rito to be extremely capable and professional. He is a real asset to National Refrigeration. Because of Doreen and Rito we would definitely use and recommend National Refrigeration for HVAC issues.
