Elco just finished painting our home and shed. What a professional group of meticulous workers! Ken Elliott oversaw this project, and came on site several times. Because our home was built prior to 1978, we had layers of lead paint on some of the shingles. The team painstakingly removed the peeling paint, all within the letter of the lead paint laws. Quite impressive! Emilio and Edgar are painters who are perfectionists. They painted our home as if it were their own home, always communicating with us to make sure we were satisfied. We could see the pride in their eyes. The crew arrived on time every day, and completed the job as stated. The grounds were cleaned each night, and they respected our home and privacy. It was obvious that Emilio and Edgar were happy to come to work every day, and this speaks volumes about Elco! Give them a call...you won't be disappointed!

Elco has done three jobs for us over the past several years (porch painting, entire house painting, and several interior rooms), and my wife and I been very impressed by their professionalism and the quality of their work. They arrived on schedule, finished on schedule, and were easy to work with throughout the process. Perhaps most impressive was the painters' attention to detail. Previous painters in our house had been quite sloppy, so Elco's excellent trim work, clean paint lines, etc., really made a difference. They rarely miss anything, and when they do, they happily fix it, even if it requires multiple touch ups. We were particularly impressed with the most recent job, which they scheduled on short notice and completed in record time in order to have a guest room ready for visitors. The owner, Steve, even stopped by several times to check on the work. It's certainly possible to find a painting company that charges less than Elco, but in our experience, we really got what we paid for with them. I highly recommend them.

We had a difficult experience with Elco. The painting and staining work was very good. However, communication and responsiveness was a significant problem. The project was performed while were away for several months and we could not get a status report, despite several attempts. We were billed for the complete project, and paid it, assuming the work was complete. When we arrived home, the job was incomplete and the grounds were left messy. It took almost three weeks of calls and emails to get them to finally complete the work. A very disappointing experience, despite some good work.

If I could select 0 Stars I would’ve. Do not show up when they say they will. Do not return calls to find out where they are and why they didn’t show up. When they mess something up, they try to charge you to fix it. Painting itself was average at best. Would not hire again!

Great people and company. Hired them for a home interior painting job. They gave me a fair price, showed up on time and finished the job on schedule. They used premium paints and the painters were very polite and very neat too: I have several antiques which they went out of their way ensure would not suffer any paint splatter. I highly recommend them and I would hire them again. Nice job guys!

They arrived promptly and on time every day for our two-week project. Their painting skills were excellent. These men were very talented, meticulous and had clean lines. They were very tidy workers - not a single paint drip on my floors and they left my home spotless every day. Was able to schedule me the same week for a paint job of the entire interior of my condo. Completed the job in three days and was in and out while I was at work. The paint looked beautiful. When I had an issue with the paint in the bathroom running because I didn’t use the vent, they came back and repainted it for me. I would highly recommend.

Terrible company. ELCO was hire by our Condo Association to do exterior painting. ELCO sand blasted the old paint from the building. In doing so, they damaged the glass on 2 windows and a storm door among other damage such as exterior lights, aluminum capping and landscaping. ELCO looked at damage and agreed the glass need replacement and would do so. That was 6 months ago. Since they have been FIRED buy the condo association for the horrible paint job, they no longer return calls, which isn't bad because they just lied to us when they did.

I have known the Elliot Family for many years. This is a true “Family” business. They are extremely knowledgeable about their craft and have done numerous jobs for my business and my home. I can say with out a doubt that I have been satisfied every time. From picking out colors to small and medium carpentry jobs they have a 1 stop business which makes it much easier for the customer. They treat their customers like they are part of their family which I think some businesses fail to recognize. I have and will continue to refer them to friends and family.

I called several times over three weeks to have my deck repaired. The guy kept saying he will call back to give me a date but he never did. One time he said he will call back in ten mins and never did! Terrible communication and kept me waiting for nothing. Should have see the other poor reviews here first.
