We dealt with Jill in the office and she bent over backwards to help us out, even after we made several changes at the last minute. My wife and I bought our home and needed almost the entire interior painted within just a couple of weeks. Not only did CertaPro Painters make the time to get the work done, but they even brought extra crew members to make sure it was done on time. We worked with Ben, who initially did our estimate and went through the entire house with us and was nothing but respectful and encouraging of our ideas. Our color consultation was very helpful too and we were able to narrow down exactly what we wanted for each room. The quality of work is INCREDIBLE and the house looks decades older than it did when we bought it! The crew even painted our laundry room for free, which we left out of the plan in order to save some extra money. That was such a kind gesture. We were not in the home for the entirety of the painting, and we gave the painters our keys and they treated our house as though it was their own. I would highly recommend them to EVERYONE I know. Thank you for helping make our house a home!

I hired certapro painters to do a complete interior paint job of my house for a move in. They finished the job in the estimated time and were very friendly. However, when I am spending the kind of money to hire a company such as certaPro I would expect the job to be done right the first time. More time should have been spent taping and masking the hardware and edges of walls so that there wasn't any over painting done. I had to call certa and have them come back and do some touch-up and some cleanup work because they were in such a rush to finish the job in the estimated time frame and I am still finding things that were missed. I would shop around as I feel that you can get just as good of a job done for perhaps a little less money. In response to owner comments about a 9 rating, that was upon initial inspection. However, as time goes by other issues have been noticed that were missed at first. If Certa would let me retake their evaluation it would be a 5/10. The paint was supposed to be washable because I have small children. When it came time to wash walls to my surprise and disappointment the paint came right off. I could go on but the point had been made.

We have a great room that is as high as 26 ft. The entire room had to be painted due to rain damage. CertPro gave us a timely quote, did an outstanding job,and finished the project without any additional charges even a few small things were added. Would certainly use them again.

I would certainly give CertaPro Painters of Reading 5 stars. Not only did they give the lowest pricing, they gave the LOWEST pricing. When Ben came out to see us, he took measurements of the room, including the trim that needed to be extensively prepped. He took the time to explain all the work that would be done. When he left, I had, not only an estimate for the work to be done, but a printed document that spelled out everything from warranty to clean up. The project was rather small, three walls of a bedroom with included baseboards and door trim. I also added prepping and painting a baseboard radiator in a small bathroom. In addition, the timing had to be such that it coincided with the planned flooring installation in that room. They were very accommodating with scheduling. Steve contacted me the evening before the project was to begin to inform me of his expected arrival. The job was completed in two days and everything was cleaned up when he left. He did an excellent job on the 95 year old woodwork and walls with their not perfectly square corners and settling cracks. He did a small section of the wall and checked with me to be sure that the color we selected was as we expected. I would certainly consider using CertaPro for any other painting projects.

I bought my father's house in PA after he passed away. I live out-of-state, so my sister (who lives locally) and I chose CertaPro Painters to give his house a fresh coat of paint. The price seemed reasonable and the owner and his wife were friendly. However, after the job was done, we found that the kitchen cabinets were not painted correctly. They were not sanded smooth (pre-work was not done well), and other wall areas needed touch-up. We asked for a different painter from CertaPro to re-do and touch-up. That person did a very good job, but again, when I visited in December, I discovered the original painters had not painted the hall ceiling at all, and the hallway walls had only received one of the two coats they needed. The owner said, "You never know, some people think this quality is acceptable." At this point, we did not approach CertaPro again, and instead chose a totally different person to come in and complete the work. I am very disappointed in the quality of painters, and although they were friendly, would not use them again. The frustration and aggravation was not worth it.

CertaPro Painters is the highest rated painting contractor in the country. We read the great local reviews about Certapro Painters of Reading, PA and ignored the 5 year old complaint blogs from the other side of the country. We built our own home, a 2,000 sq ft addition, a 3,000 sq ft barn and a large bucket truck building... but it is getting hard to keep up with everything. Having done all the painting in four buildings over 50 years, we know how it should be done. CertaPro Painters does painting the way I would do it; that is the highest recommendation I can give. Paint a large strip of cardboard to choose the color you want. Read their contract and be ready when the painters arrive. The estimator, scheduler and painters are all nice, competent. professional people.
