Sierra came to the rescue in time to disconnect me from my neighbor's sewer and install a new line to the main sewer which was 12' deep. Timeliness was very important given my house sale was pending and City of Portland no longer allows "party" sewers. Ubaldo Sierra, the owner, was conscientious and his employees did an awesome job. They arrived timely and took great care to make the least minimal impact to the yard and plants with the digging. . I was very nervous about getting the job done right the first time and without any problems. Sierra exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them.

As a Portland Realtor, I've had occasion to recommend many sewer scope repairs and replacements. I met Ubaldo when I first started my business. He's always provided excellent service. I've done many sewer jobs with Ubaldo, have never had an issue. My clients have all been very happy with his service and pricing has always been competitive and reasonable. I can't say that about all the sewer repair contractors I've worked with, they just don't compare in service or price. I highly recommend Ubaldo and Sierra Excavation.

I was referred to Ubaldo Sierra by a person who knew of his work. I arranged to have him meet me on site to assess the job of installing 95 feet of sewer line; making a new connection to the city sewer from our house. He emailed me his bid to complete the job the same day as we had met. He was the lowest bidder by far. He procured the necessary permits, began work on schedule and finished on schedule in time to meet a closing deadline for the sale of our house. The line was drilled from the rear of the house to a fifteen foot deep hole in the street in the front. His team worked quickly and they completed installation of the new line, replacement of blacktop and concrete and cleanup all within budget. Ubaldo and his crew just finished a new sewer line and cesspool decommissioning at my home in SE portland. The work was done quickly, professionally (including having to scramble to get permits when the cesspool was discovered), on time, and on budget. Although the cesspool was an added cost, the price Ubaldo charged for the additional work was fair, and they still finished on time (just 2 days to get the whole thing done). His crew left my yard, sidewalk, and driveway cleaner than they found it, which really impressed my wife and I. Would highly recommend Sierra to anyone!

These guys are truly amazing! Very good pricing compared to others. Very considerate and professional. Very careful. They warned of the possibility of hitting sprinkler lines or other things but for us, when they saw a sprinkler in the corner of their dig zone, they hand dug around it to avoid it. They made the holes smaller in diameter than I thought possible for connecting the house to sewer. They bored right under our house and pulled the pipe through from the small connection hole on the other side. (Granted, they did say our situation was easy compared to others they’d experienced.) They put everything back to the way it was and even planted grass seed for us - which was above and beyond. They did many things that were above and beyond, I think. I would recommend hiring them even if you don’t need anything done, just so you can experience true workmanship!

Ubaldo, his brother Diego, and their team were amazing! They were able to dig in a very tight space between our front wood steps and our fountain w/3 large basalt bubblers. They actually dug under the bubblers to get the water line fixed so we wouldn't have trouble this winter as they were putting in a new sewer line that was under our water line. Diego was so careful not to dig too deep and hit the water line, digging by hand near the end. I would HIGHLY recommend this team. They did the job skillfully, were very professional and conscientious being mindful the whole job of the impact the work would have on the surrounding landscape.

Awesome service for a reasonable price. Called them to install a back-flow device due to frequent flooding of my basement. Ubaldo, Diego and his crew were all top notch at assessing our needs, dealing with the city inspectors for the permit, and getting the job done at the price quoted. Experience matters, and these guys are pros! Will not hesitate to call them again if needed.

Quoted for a huge job worth $6000+ than gave me a quote $1,000+ more than a big company plumber. Figured would be reasonably lower because the big equipment for the job is why the high quote thought since its there job that wouldnt need be done. But overly priced. Last company told me considerably less for the job with a 5yr insurance on there work.

The owner came to my house to do the scope and spent the time to make sure that I understood what the problem was and then gave me a couple options about what to do. His price was good and the work was completed quickly and correctly. After they were finished they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves and in the 6 months after the job was done we have had no further problems with our sewer. I can't recommend them enough.
