Painters turned up promptly. They worked solidly all day, despite some damp weather with the odd shower from time to time. The paint used ( Sherwin Williams ), had an additive to allow for damp cold weather and still be capable of a 2nd coat the same day. The end result was everything I had hoped for. I am calling them back to quote on painting the inside of our house. I especially appreciate that after a quotation, they do not require an acceptance in just a couple of weeks.

I have always done painting and other projects on my home myself and have very high standards. Painting a large home now is more than I wanted to handle, so I went with the pros. I am detailed oriented and expect people working on my home to be detailed oriented as well. I was very pleased that they met most of my high standards. Did they leave an oil spot on my perfect driveway? Unfortunately, yes but I was able to clean most of it off, and they put a tarp down if they needed to bring the truck up again and hopefully will always do this in the future. Was there some small damage? There always is, but less than I expected. Were there spots they missed? With the large crew needed to complete this project quickly, it seems inevitable, but time is always of the essence and they were great with that. There will always be something. The important part is that all the people I dealt with from the rep (Jeff Rondestvedt) who bid the project, to the owner of the subcontracting business, to the foreman and the crew, were friendly, helpful, and happy to accommodate my requests and fix anything I asked them to address. Good people. I especially appreciated their willingness to listen to my suggestions on how to improve their service. They seemed genuinely appreciative of the ideas that I felt would help reduce the inevitable issues that arise in a large project with a large crew. If you hire them, ask them how they plan to address communication and quality control issues on a daily basis during the project. Is there a checklist to use so you won't have to remember each area of potential concern? If so, they did more than just listen to my suggestions. They aim to please and made that clear from the beginning, but it's hard not to feel like the picky homeowner who's just complaining when you ask them to fix/do something differently. If they initiate the dialogue, it shows they care and makes it easier. Moreover, this company was able to do a job with ladders that others declined to bid on because they were unable to figure out how to reach the upper dormers without complex scaffolding. This sped up the job and lowered the cost significantly. The best part of the job is the beautiful work they did refinishing my front door without having to take it off. I think we were all surprised how well it came out given that much of it was in fine shape to start. Careful and painstaking hand sanding with great stain matching have given us a door that is absolutely stunning! The final surface does not match the smooth quality of the interior varnish coating, but that may not have been possible without taking the door off and spraying it at a shop. That would have cost a lot more. In the end, their work does come with a 2 year guarantee.

Definitely the best to work with! Very responsive when asking for estimates. One week for on site estimate. Very detailed. Estimator asked all the right questions. He also answered all of our questions and understood our concerns. Price was very good. Took about six weeks for job to get started. Other painters would not schedule until next year. Plus we asked for a free "color consultant" from Sherwin-Williams. Painters showed up on time and got right to work. Walk through and prep (power washing and caulking) took two days. Painting and touch-up took two days. CertaPro and their crew made sure everything done was to our satisfaction. Sean Amsden and his crew did a terrific job. We went from a "boring brown" to a "hyper blue" home and couldn't be happier with the results. See before and after photos below.

I have never left a bad review for any company and we didn’t want it to come to this but Jeff was not willing to work with us. We requested a cleaning team and the hours it took for a person to come in and sand off all the putty left under the paint and the areas that got hand-painted as this was a hired spray job. Below are just a few photos of our completed work. Jeff is correct that he had to fire two of his teams as we were not happy, the photos show the craftsmanship we were receiving. Jeff told us he didn’t have any more bullets. Every photo was an area where they had prepped, painted and pulled the paper. If the photos show tape or plastic that is from us getting ready to sand. Besides the bad paint job we have sander paint dust through out our new hardwood floors that will never come out due to sanding prior to covering our floors.Certa Pro left scratch marks from ladders, ruined our entire hardwood floors, over-spray on our walls, chandeliers, stone fireplace for an estimated 18,000 of damages.

Jeff, we asked you for compensation for the damage your crews did to our house. Certapro never fixed anything from the first painters. Certapro overstayed on our walls, carpet and floors.certapro left our entire house and especially our hardwood floors covered in sander dust. Certapro also put 14 scratches on our floors from there ladders. Certapro came in and made a complete mess of our Trim. We spent five days sanding certapro's mess so it could be painted correctly. Don't have them do interior trim. They will botch it terribly. They had two crews work on our trim. After the first crew did a terrible job Jeff brought in David to fix it. He not only didn't fix it, he made it worse. After Jeff looked at David's work he apologized and told me he did not have anyone else that could do the work. "David is my last bullet". He then left us with a terrible mess we had to clean up. Oveespray on our walls paint all over our $10,000 floors and gloppy crud all over our trim. He then responded to my text for help with " I don't believe we have anything more to offer you" See attached photos. Notice all there pictures are from far away. There is a reason.

My husband and I have no complaints with Jeff and Cathy Spoor from CertaPro. They gave us a competitive quote for exterior painting of our home that we felt was fair given that there was also a need to replace some exterior panels due to rot. Additionally, they provided a color consultation, which my husband and I greatly appreciated since we do not have much experience with picking exterior colors. Jeff and Cathy stayed in touch with us throughout, letting us know when action was needed and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Once it was time to begin the process, the crew that came out to our house was wonderful. They also continually updated us on what they were going to be working on and what still needed to be done. The crew was great, even went above and beyond on making minor repairs to our side gate which was kind of rickety - something they didn't need to do but did anyway. The crew showed up every morning at about the same time and got to work. David was meticulous about taking care to prepare surfaces before they were painted. Examples were the back gutter that needed sanding and the post on the porch that had previously been unpainted. The post is a real focal point now and adds class to the porch. Overall, they were efficient and organized about getting the job done, particularly before it rained. They were successful in achieving that goal, which was greatly appreciated.
