I asked them to come out and do a service call and check the freon in my air conditioner because we knew it was getting a little low and it was freezing up. They came out and didn't add any freon but instead tried to convince me that I needed to spend $4,500 on a brand new unit and that was the only option I had. So after they left I called another guy who came and put the freon in, like I asked for in the first place, and now my air conditioner is working perfectly and getting cold without freezing up again. Oh and the second guy did it free of charge. Smh. I thought they were going to be honest from the previous reviews. Glad I didn't spend that $4,500.

When we called, the gentleman was courteous and professional. When Duane came for the estimate, he was clean and presentable and professionally answered our questions. On the date of the install, they called ahead and confirmed the installation. They arrived right on time and got straight to work. They explained the ONG rebate in detail and even filled out most of the paperwork for me. (On a side note, I got all the information in a timely manner and was able to send the rebate form the same day). There were no complications in the installation itself, and they carted the old equipment away. They conpleted the installation in about 5.5 hours.

This company's technicians are professional and spot on. They figured out the problem with our unit properly and in timely manner. They also didn't try to rip us off like so many other HVAC companies! They were polite, honest, good at what they do, and offered us pretty competitive price and warranty from a decent brand. I called Smith Brothers yesterday morning, September 17th, at 905am to get some work done on my A/C unit. The gentleman that answered told me there were 4-5 jobs ahead of me and to expect a repairman to arrive in 1-2hrs and took my contact info. At 1pm, I called again to inquire about the delay and attain an updated arrival estimate. No one answered the phone, returned my message, or came to provide service. I HIGHLY recommend finding another service company that is attentive to your needs.

My regular Heat/Air guy that I used for over 15yrs passed away and I needed to find a new company to take care of me that I could depend on for years to come. I believe I have found that in Smith Brothers. I knew it was past time to replace my Heating Unit and Hot Water Heater I explained that to Duane and he came out that same day and checked everything out and explained what I needed and told me what it would cost me. It was much better than other companies I checked with. They came on the day that I needed it done and changed out my Heating & Air Units and Hot water Heater all in about half a day. They were great and I am so pleased with the work and the price. I have found my new Heat/Air company and have already referred them to others. Very Impressed!

I read all the reviews and knew that I would be calling Smith Brothers. The reviews were not wrong. They came out quickly to give an estimate. Then I called and scheduled moving the central heat and air unit to a new location. They were out on the date scheduled. They finished, cleaned up and completed the move in one day. Great company. They are now my central heat and air go to company.

This is an A++ company! I purchased a 1938 home with known HVAC issues. Duane came out and looked at the systems and we discussed the problems and possible solutions. Ultimately I decided to replace both furnaces and AC units, plus duct work. (I had another estimate that was significantly higher.) The crew of 5 that came out to complete the work were polite, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They explained what they were doing when I had a question and immediately let me know when they ran into issues. Duane helped me fill out the warranty paper work and make sure I had everything I needed. I highly recommend Smith Brothers - they are honest and do great work!

We had a gas smell. They came out and discovered where the leak was coming from. Turns out the heat exchange had been damaged due to prior company installing exhaust incorrectly. We opted to purchase new Heat & Air System. Smith Brothers gave us what I thought was a good deal and my wife said they were very professional and polite. Answered all of our questions. We plan on using Smith Brothers for the maintenance of our new system going forward.

My compressor finally cratered this month, August, so I called Smith Brothers and they installed a new unit in less than half a day. Absolutely the BEST- family owned, dependable, honest, friendly and professional with great people, skilled service techs and quality brand! I've been a homeowner for over 40 years in 5 states (the last 20 here in OKC) and have seen the good, bad and ugly side of the HVAC business. The last 6 years we have talked with Smith Brothers and others about replacing our main system but always went the route of repair and patching. We finally decided to get a new system and talked with a number of dealers. But we went with the guys at Smith Brothers. Why ? Unlike a number of the AC salesmen, Duane didn't try to upsell me a bunch of expensive features I didn't need, knew his stuff, gave us a very fair price. And he is a really great guy and an owner of the company, a BIG plus when you are making this type of service investment. The install team showed up today ( early), and got the entire system up and running in 4 hours. The house didn't even get warm ! Mike and the crew were great - friendly, focused and very skilled at what they do. When they left it was amazing. Our thermostat was on 74 and the house felt wonderful compared to our old system we kept at 68. Wish I would have done this five years ago! There are a number of good air conditioning systems on the market. And Smith installs American Standard, consistently a top Consumer Report pick. But my experience has been that its your service company that is most important in the long run. They aren't the biggest and don't spend millions on advertising. But Duane and the Smith Brothers team are the BEST! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

They are very professional, friendly, and have the job completed with the time frame that they state they would have in done in. The city inspector just came by and signed off on Smith Brother's installation of heat and air (full system except for duct work) in our home. I am well aware that companies invest a lot of time into pricing and presenting their products and services to customers when they make estimates for us. Smith Brothers gave our 4th estimate. If they had been the first or second estimate; we would have known sooner that their plan was the one to go with. Obviously we are grateful we "found" Smith Brothers. Duane was excellent at presenting solutions and explaining our options in replacing out 29+ year old system. We knew we needed to upgrade; but we didn't want to "break the bank". This company works hard to provide value with their products and services. Duane and the install team showed up at the appointed time. They knew what to do and how to do it. The installation looks neat, works well, and they cleaned up well after the work was completed. We have confidence that we will be able to trust their competent professionalism for any future service/maintenance heat/air needs.

Great communication, installation, and service. I purchased a new furnace last winter with the plan of also purchasing a new a/c this past spring. ( I wanted to pay cash for the entire service, but needed to split up the installation, which they were more than happy to do. The entire Smith Brothers team was professional and explained everything in detail. I even had them add a vent in the bathroom, which was cut in so well that it looked like it had always been a part of the house. I had many questions from doing research online and speaking with a previous customer of theirs and the team was honest with their answers and didn't try to sell me items I didn't need or want. We had A/C problems. The fan was blowing but the compressor wasn't. Called a company recommended by a FOAF and he said it would be next week, before he could get out. We called Smith Brother's at 1:00 and they said they would have someone out between 3 and 5. Mike contacts me quarterly to let me know it is time for my service so I never have to worry when I am due. The biggest plus is the team knows my house, the units and how many filters to bring.
