My family called this company to do a major update on our house which has not had any major updating or I should say, safe updates, since it was built in 1949. We called multiple companies for estimates as well. When Mister Sparky sent Dustin out, I booked him right away. He did not try to sell me on anything, he listened carefully to what I was doing and gave me a SPOT ON estimate right away. His numbers did not change through the project either. This company has now even completed the job and I am still waiting to recieve the estimates from other companies. They started work the very next day after coming to look at my house. Everyday the office called to let me know that they were coming, who was coming and what time they would be there, there was also a text message that went out with their photos as well. When they arrived they were in a clearly marked company vehicle each and EVERY time they arrived. They put in full days at my house, they did not leave and come back from another job on any of the days and they came every single day until the job was done. The crew included Dustin, Corey and Dylan. They were extremely professional and even thoughtful. They cleaned up everything and each area before they moved to the next. Never did my hovering around their work bother them either and they were always fully explaining every thing they were doing and checking in with me that where they installed lights and outlets was exactly where I wanted them. They rarely took breaks and worked extremely hard and quickly. That would be my only comment. They need to take more breaks for themselves! I even had a hard time hovering the whole time because I couldnt keep up with them! We were expecting with a project this size to have many holes and things to patch but the results were amazing and the house exceeds our expectations. I have nothing but good things to say about the crew and give them all the top review. Also the quality of the work is top notch. We are very excited about the results and feel much safer knowing that our house has updated electrical. Also the lighting is even better than we had expected. We added a number of recessed LED lights and it has transformed the look of the house. The warranties and service quality is certainly worth going with this company as well. We got new panels and had minimal time without electricity throughout this project. We had a very limited timeframe to be able to complete this project and if we had not called Mister Sparky and Dustin we would not have been able to get this project done in time, they in fact brought our home remodel ahead of schedule. Thank you to Dustin, Corey and Dylan for all your hard work on our house we absolutely LOVE IT! If anyone is considering this company they are very much worth your time.

Tristen came out for a hot tub hook up. However, my box was at capacity and my house had several other issues. The electrical box needed to be moved and brought up to code. Tristen performed the massive job over the next 3 days. He also installed a ceiling fan, a heater/exhast fan and a vent. My house now has proper grounding, I've got surge protection built into my system, and my house is up to code. I feel safer already! If all of the Mr. Sparky technicians are as knowledgeable and friendly as Tristen, I highly recommend their service!

We recently called Mr Sparky OKC for some electrical work in our new home based on their excellent service in the past. Jarrod came out to do the work and he is awesome! He installed some surge protectors, an attachment for a bug light, fixed our patio up lights, fixed a faulty switch, installed a patio fan and is looking into an attic ventilation system for us. He is personable, courteous and very knowledgeable. But beyond that, Jarrod is incredibly hardworking. He was here almost all day and didn’t leave until everything was perfect - including raising the patio fan when I felt it was hanging too low. Incredible. Will definitely be using Jarrod again. Dustin and Tristan went above and beyond when helping us with our house. Tristan originally came to our house to fix an outlet that wasn’t working but found out that he would have to cut into our wall to fix it (old house). He trouble-shooted MULTIPLE ways so that he could make it happen without cutting into the wall and gave me the option to go forward with the job or stopping. I decided to leave the outlet alone. I asked him if he could put a cover over it instead of the original plate with the plug-in holes and he did it without question. He apologized and didn’t charge for any of the service! He was open, transparent and answered all my questions, which I highly appreciated. A couple hours after he left, I noticed my house was especially warm and found that my Nest had an error message specifically saying that there wasn’t power going to a couple of the wires. I called back and asked if he could come back to look because it seemed like an electrical issue but I wasn’t exactly sure because I had power everywhere else in my house. He was on another job but Dustin came over quickly. My house was getting hot fast with it being over 100 degrees outside. Dustin looked EVERYWHERE to see where the problem was. He stayed and kept trying to figure it out until Tristan came. Together, they checked every power source in my house to figure it out. It came down to an HVAC problem that they solved together (which is out of their realm) and got my A/C running again. They took the time to show my husband what they found and didn’t charge us again. I cannot say enough great things about their service. They even played with my 13 month old son when he ran over and got into their way. Also both of them didn’t even bat an eye and respected my house when I asked them to put shoe covers on. After many service people coming over and eye-rolling about my house rules, I really appreciated them being so considerate. I recommend this company to everyone!!! Great customer service, great guys, great communication and knows what they’re doing! Thank you!

Was able to set up the appt in one day. Couldn’t figure out why my outlets quit working. When jarrod arrived he went to the box on the outside of the house and showed me a ground wire had exploded. I have lives in my house for 29 years so the breaker box was old and we have never updated anything electrical. Jarrod and Duilan did the job in less time than anticipated. Electric was back on in four hours!!! The price was a little on the high side but at least I can live peacefully knowing the breaker box is all new!!! Jarrod isn’t a pushy salesman I told him just give me the bottom line!!!!

Scheduled an appointment to have a doorbell installed. The day of the appointment they called and said they had to reschedule so I rescheduled for the following week. The technician came out to install the doorbell then but didn’t have the proper equipment on his truck so told us he had to come back the next day. But, Dustin talked me into installing a Complete Home Surge Protector. I had consulted with another company about a Home Surge Protector about a year ago and was told that they couldn't install one in my house due to lack of room in my Breaker Box. Imagine cleaning out your fridge and discovering your favorite grandma's favorite Pyrex in the back with some foil over it. You don't know what's in there or how long it's been there, but you can't just throw it away! You gotta clean it out. But not today. It's gonna take you some time to work up the nerve to actually open that sucker and expose yourself to the deathly horrors within. A year goes by and it's still back there. That's kinda how I felt about the electrical work in my house. I called Mister Sparky just to get some basic stuff done, but I knew in the back of my mind that my house had some problems our appraiser and inspector missed when we bought this old, outdated house. Nothing got past Tristan though! He went through their routine inspection and quickly caught some issues that really needed attention. He explained very clearly what was wrong, why it's wrong, and how it can be corrected. I appreciated that he spoke calmly, but with authority. There was no, "your house is going to burn down and everyone will die unless you fix this." We walked through the options and he put together a strategy that works for me. Rather than taking the money and running, he got started right away. While I really wasn't expecting to have such a large scope project out of this call, it's actually quite a relief to finally get all of this taken care of. I'm getting grandma's Pyrex back because Tristan is cleaning it out for me. What a bro!

There was no pressure to carry out everything they found that could be improved but we decided to upgrade everything since we plan to be in our home a long time. Cory and the other technician (I’m sorry I cannot remember his name) ran electricity to our very large pergola out back (70’ by 22’). They braved the very cold weather and spent the entire day running power out there, hanging eight pole lights, three large ceiling fans, and two wall outlets. We are so very pleased with their dedication to doing quality work. Imagine if you will how hard it is to hide wiring on a covered open pergola, but they took the time to make sure you could see very little of the numerous lines needed to feed power to it. Dustin was very professional and informative. After discussing the lighting fixtures and the LED lights with him we elected to go with the LED lighting in the ceiling that he recommended. An appointment was made and Dustin and his helper Dilland arrived at the appointed time and installed the fixtures. They were both helpful and knowledgeable. Dustin answered the questions that I had as he was doing the installations. As such, I knew what was being done and that each fixture was individually wired. I would refer either of these electricians to anyone needing any kind of electrical work done. When we decided to do our next electrical project Dustin will be the one we call. Jarrod was great. The work was done quickly and everything was explained in detail. There are no options of an hourly rate as a usual electrician would charge but instead 3 tiers of "problem solving". The issue was found quickly as I had done some troubleshooting myself and was able to explain to Jarrod. My only quam would be the outrageous price of equipment. An AFCI breaker, which does come with a warranty, came in at $240! You can go buy the same thing at Home Depot or Lowes for $50. Quite outrageous to overcharge this much for a product. I understand markups, but that is crazy!

I used Angie's List for an electrician and Mr. Sparky was listed. Within a few minutes they called me to ask how they could help and immediately set up an appointment for the next day. Since I had used Angie's List they waived the $79 assessment fee. Joey came out within 30 minutes after I received the call he would be there between 30-35 minutes and within the time frame they had given me (between 8:00-10:00). Joey assessed the situation and was able to do the main work I had contacted them for which was moving an exterior outlet to a different location. He also inspected the breaker panel and found various items not up to code and things that were of concern to him that had been added over the years after the house had been built. He gave me an estimate and was able to return the next day to replace the panel. It was a little pricey but the work was excellent and Joey assured me that I'd never need that panel replaced again. He was professional, very knowledgeable, and did excellent work. He is probably my favorite service person that I have had provide work on my house. Thank you for helping getting my electrical fixed!

Mike rules! I forget his last name, but just through reading on here Im assuming its Hurley? He came out to check our AC breaker box that had been damaged from a fallen piece of siding on my house and he was very thorough. Im not gonna pretend to know the words for all the breakers and wires he fixed, but for the first time in a long time, I feel like our house is going to be much safer! I plan on having him (preferably) install some up to date smoke detectors in the near future. He was very confident, knowledgeable, friendly, and hilarious! That's a hard combo to top! Customers beware of the work being done in your house as it could be halted real quick if an inspector shows up pending who is working on your house. All though I am not doubting this company as they are very good at what they do and the name says it all they do have unlicensed electricians working on customers houses. It does not matter if an individual holds a license in another State if it does not reciprocate to Oklahoma you are NOT ALLOWED BY LAW to preform any work. Customers please ask to see the electricians license before you allow them to start work, please remember that an apprentice is not allowed to work on your house unless there is a journeyman present at all times. Keep your families safe by having someone who adheres and knows the Oklahoma State laws and standards.

They are Scam artists. They charged my wife nearly $200 just to come press a button on an outlet. They did no actual work and specifically said it would only cost $40 to come out unless they had to make a repair. I called their office to complain and tell them that wasn't right, they agreed to have someone call me back because they weren't available. Then no one did and they just went ahead and cashed the check she gave them anyway. Dont let them in your house, or you will pay for it.

You be the judge…Mr. Sparky replaced one outlet in the kitchen and installed an outdoor plug/outlet where electricity was already there and they charged $650, two days ago I had a company come out and replaced two switches and a outlet, remove and install 2 light fixtures and two ceiling fans and the total price was $360. Mr. Sparky's work was good work but so was the company we had do the latest work.
