Estimator doesn't show, texts me that he's had a medical emergency and can't make the appointment. I text him back as to when he can come by he never responds. I call the company 2 weeks later, after never hearing back from their estimator, and they promise a call back and never call me back. If you guys didn't want the job all you had to do was say so. Thanks for wasting my time.

The painters came out and provided a competitive estimate and were able to get the job scheduled that same week. They understood the hurry we had and how excited our little girl was about her new purple room, so they stayed a full day, working practically the entire time, to get it done for her. They were extremely pleasant to chat with and very professional about their work- very neat and tidy :) Would absolutely recommend and will be using in the future!!

Let me start off by saying I was super impressed with the fact that CertaPro has a lead foreman that comes to the job before the painters start and come back out when the painting crew is finished. NOT that in any way did I feel like I couldn’t trust the painters, BUT you rarely see this during any contracted job. Normally, the salesperson makes the sale, and the contracted works come and go. I really felt like CertaPro was concerned about my job from start to finish. This is a distinction that I hope this company always holds on to because this truly sets them apart from their competition! When it comes to the painters that completed my job, I cannot say enough good things about them. Not only are they very good at their craft, but they are exceptional people! They constantly made sure what was being done was what we wanted, and they genuinely cared to meet our expectations throughout the project. After the job, they cleaned up with a level of precision and care that you just don’t see anymore! I am extremely picky, so trust me that says a lot. At the end of the day, a company name means nothing without exceptional representation, and the crew that completed our job represented CertaPro very well! That is what customer service is all about. I can truthfully say, we have been left in awe. We are thankful to the crew and for the positive experience!! I would highly recommend these guys! They are competitively priced and, in my mind, crush the competition.

The Crew chief was unreliable, did poor quality work, and had to come back multiple times. The management then left a rude voicemail I'm a college painter who had one job left when I had to go back to school. The paint was already bought, and the house was more than half done. I contracted with certapro who were great at getting it started soon. Joe is who I spoke to on the phone. He was very professional and got back to me in a timely fashion. Unfortunately, the crew chief (Chris) was miserable. He was unreliable. He was never on time. In fact, I had already tried to work with him through craigslist. He just didn't show up. To My surprise, he is the guy who CertaPro assigned to complete the house for $900. I thought it was fair because I know management has to take their cut. it took him 3 weeks longer than it should have (should have been a two day job). He left multiple times saying it was done (4 times) and had to come back to get areas he missed. He missed window sills and left tape over lights. I found out from the home owner that Chris made him go buy a bunch of plastic to cover the roof. The homeowner was responsible for the paint, NOT THE MATERIALS. I had let him use my equipment, like my drop sheets and shields, but he found them inadequate to his techniques. They sprayed a huge streak of paint on the roof. The homeowner was not happy. That was one of the things he had to come back for. I even found a window that was entirely un-prepped. The homeowner said "I don't like those guys." and I don't blame him. Chris was horrible. You could not count on him to do what he was going to say when he said was going to do it. CertaPro called me for a survey and I gave them an honest 2 out of five. I was really grateful that they were able to help me in a tight spot so quickly. but as a paying customer I expected better quality. The Branch manager, Dan, left me a voicemail about how livid he was for giving him that honest review because he helped me out and I'm just a student. They called me, and I gave them an honest answer. They should know when their crew chief's are inadequate. The fact is, I could have had another professional company help me out 2 days after he started. Certa Pro could start the soonest, but the crew chief was miserable and made for a dismal experience. I called him back and he hung up on me. If I was the homeowner, I would not have payed the full amount. As a paying customer, I deserve to be treated with respect.

We had a different experience from the other reviews shown here. First of all there was not two coats of paint applied, everything is blotchy because they sprayed horizontally instead of vertically. Also, the protruding nails were not tapped back in according to the conract. The owner came out and said it was supposed to look like that! We have painted our home many times and it never looked like this.

I hired CertaPro to take care of painting a majority of my first floor and foyer ceilings after completing a large remodel. The process of selecting them included 7 other companies bidding the job. CertaPro didn't have the lowest price, however, they had additional prep work included that I felt was worth the extra expense. My overall experience with CertaPro was mixed: Negatives: - The initial painters on the job did sub-par work requiring a punch-list crew to come back a week later to fix their mistakes. I was disappointed in their technique as they were rolling before they cut in the corners. This created a larger outline of brush strokes along all of the edges which could have been minimized if they cut-in then rolled. The brush stokes became even more apparent around light fixtures (I had suggested I could remove them if it made it easier). - The initial painters dropped a sanding tool on my new hardwood floors creating a gouge in one of the planks. This damage was taken off my bill ($90) by the CertaPro Owner which is still very disappointed after spending over $23k to put new floors in. - The initial painters seemed rushed the entire day even though the job was outlined ahead of time on what the scope of work needed. I am not sure on how it was communicated, but the painters seems frustrated based on the worked needed completed to their compensation. This was further confirmed when they had to leave to get more paint because they were short roughly 3 gallons. The frustration could be felt the second half of the day based on comments from the crew which I will leave off of my review. - The challenges in communication between the office and the field showed up a second time when it came to skim coating and caulking. I mentioned to the painters where the skim coating needed done and they were fine handling it. However, the work was not done well, it would have been better to keep it as is than what turned out. Moreover, I request a specific caulk (it was documented in the scope of work), however, the painters did not bring it. Fortunately, I had extras from my remodel I was able to provide. The CertaPro owner didn't acknowledge this when I brought it up later. - I will detail out more in the positives about the punch list crew, however, they were unable to fix all of the brushstroke issues created by the initial crew. It would require more aggressive sanding (per the punch list crew) to complete it correctly, and my final email to CertraPro about this resulted in no response. - While the crew was painting the foyer, their ladders scuffed part of the wall which were just recently painted during the remodel. Positives: - The Operations Manager came out after hearing about my challenges from the initial crew and did a complete walk-through with me. He took pictures and created a punch list of my issues to be fixed. I was pleased with his timeliness, demeanor, and willingness to get my job resolved. - The punch list crew was great. I would have preferred having them over the initial crew from the start. They looked at the work and instantly knew it needed fixed. - The punch list crew did a walk-through at the end (the initial crew did not) and found a few other areas to fix. This was done without issue and they were happy to do it. Overall: I think there were many opportunities for improvement. The CertaPro business model utilizes a network of sub-contractors so communication between CertaPro and their network needs to be tight. I think I fell into a situation where my job didn't get communicated well which caused the rub. The quality of work seemed to be an issue of the initial crew feeling rushed. This is a issue that comes back between the sub-contractor and CertaPro, so I cannot comment on why this was the case. This doesn't seem to be a common issue based on CertaPro's positive reviews, so I wanted to make sure I left my experience here for those in the future. At this point, my ceilings are complete (overall looks good) but I have to live with a few minor imperfections.

We had a great experience with CertaPro painting. The contractor who changed our wood to PVC board did a beautiful job. He was very kind ,considerate and easy to work with. Our painter was awesome as well! I would definitely use CertaPro again if we needed more painting done. Also the customer service was very good!

We have used CertaPro twice and both times we have been so pleased. First, and maybe most important, the job is flawless. Their attention to detail is clearly seen in all their work. Second, they are quick! Our first home was 2700 sq feet and they were done in 2 days. The second job, 1500 sq feet, was completed in about 1.5 days. Third, every single person I interacted with was friendly and knowledgeable. There was never a moment that I was left wondering about the process or concerned having others in my home. Finally, they are very affordable! We checked out a couple competitors for the first painting job and CertaPro's cost was more than fair. We we absolutely use CertaPro again and recommend them without hesitation!

Had all interior walls, ceilings, closets painted, and all of the exterior painted (stucco & cedar). Also had the gutters and downspouts replaced, as well as some drywall replacement, and exterior trim repair. Everyone was really helpful and communicated well from initial estimate through scheduling to the work being completed. I'm listing the house for sale, so I really appreciate how quickly someone came out to quote the job, and then how quickly the job was scheduled and completed. The painters made a great effort on the prep work, which really made a great difference vs other painters I've used. Prep work is the basis for how well the job will turn out, yet many painters skimp on it. The drywall, trim repair, and gutters all turned out great too. Definitely will use CertaPro for future projects.

I wouldn't recommend this company to paint Jim Harbaugh's house. They cut every corner imaginable. Rosie Ruiz would be proud of them! They did come back three time to fix the things they missed but still didn't do it. Contract does clearly state what they are supposed to do but doesn't really matter. They just want to finish as fast as they can and have you pay them. Oh and had a due date for payment Tuesday and the Friday before we received multiple phone calls and texts asking about payment. If you want your house painted well, call someone else. If you want to go back and do a lot of work yourself to make it right, this is the company to use. UPDATE: Went back to paint more spots they missed with the second color with me quart they left me and had a rag and a smaller roller left in it. 0 stars!

We had a very short timeframe, due to another painting ghosting us, and trying to get our home on the market. Sarah, Dan, Kevin & Ruben were so responsive and helpful. Worth every single penny, as the quality and professionalism of the crew was astounding. We have a large master suite and they accomplished painting ceiling and two coats of paint in about 7-8 hours. We are using them for some exterior work as well, and will use them for our new home, if needed. Really great company, I cannot write high enough praise.

Reading solacegdi's review gives me day deja vu. If you want problem after problem and fight the painters to treat your home as you would then go with CertaPro but I would advise you to get a respectable company that doesn't cut corners. My experience was a nightmare. A truck full of Hispanics smoking cigarettes with no English fought with me over the smallest requests for correction. Trust me, the subcontractors they hire care very little about your home or your satisfaction. I'm in the process of looking for another company to fix all their mistakes. I have to say, my wife was right, I should have asked them to leave my property when they argued with me for 2 hours over caulking.
