Our designer, Ashley, was phenomenal and so patient with any changes we made. Gave them 4 stars because our window was broken at close and sink cut wrong on our counter...we closed a couple weeks ago and the issues have not been fixed yet. All in all, our house turned out beautiful and we are pleased with the outcome!

We had input the throughout the entire process and got to choose everything in our new home. Nicole, Melanie and Samantha made the whole building process seamless. Its simply amazing that during the last 2 snow events that this company fails to inform there contractors and there own employees from parking on streets especially when they are working in a area that has five rental properties that are empty I guess thinking out side the box and using those driveways is to complex. I do understand that they are building a house and want to finish with there work but it's time for Jordahl to help the city workers finish there job to.

We have built two houses with Jordahl. Their customer service and willingness to work with us when there were any minor issues or concerns (that are to be expected when building) was fantastic. Concerns were always resolved promptly and to our level of satisfaction (or above). We have had two inspections (before purchase and at a year) for our current house as well as buyer and seller inspections on the first house we built/sold - both with good reports!

We bought our Jordahl home last November after the parade of homes and we love how things are put together. Now days, it's crazy how fast houses can be built and that had me questioning the quality of work in our house, but when we had our house inspection a year later, our inspector was impressed at the quality of work done and how Jordahl went above and beyond what is required in the state of North Dakota. Jordahl put in a passive mitigation system which is not required by North Dakota. They also ran a 30 amp wire out to our air conditioner just incase in the future I need a bigger wire it is already good to go. Little things like that sometimes go un-noticed and I feel like people need to look at the small things that Jordahl does for their buyers.

Sales team was "great". Once they had our cash, all bets are off. The house is cheaply done with poor workmanship. "Sam"- their person who works with organizing contractors etc is IMPOSSIBLE to work with. Smart alec and snarky. Endless problems with the house- many are "just cosmetic", but show a complete lack of attention to detail. According to them, I was supposed to catch all of this on the "walk thru"- when it was frozen ground and snowing outside. I was told that since it was a new house, I should wait a year to have the home inspection- big mistake on my part! I was also told that the house would be "sparkly clean" when we took possession. Well, basement toilet and wall was covered with pee, they "forget" the back up sump pump, paint is so thin in some places you can see underneath it, outside siding looks like it was done by a 3 year old, front porch was cut improperly and is splintering, cheap woodwork has dents in it, I could go on and on. Latest fiasco is with Jordahl and ProLandscapers. We paid ProLandscapers thru Jordahl- another big mistake. Most of the profit will go to Jordahl...and we, the customers....always come last. We just wanted to add mulch in a few areas instead of sod. That was just TOO MUCH to ask!!! I don't think I have every dealt with a more unprofessional company. Total buyer's remorse at this point:( .

We closed in August and so far they have been wonderful to work with. They are very quick to respond and your issues fixed. We have only had to have a couple for minor things repaired and they always checkin after to ensure you are satisfied. Great customer service, and absolutely love the home. Would recommend them to anyone looking to build.

We built with Jordahl and our process was pretty straightforward. We looked at some floorplans and visited some unfinished houses. After seeing a few, we selected the Franklin model because it was an affordable model with 3 bedrooms upstairs. There were almost no models that could compare in price and layout. We we're fortunate because we didn't want to spend a lot upfront so Kim helped us tremendously. She used a little trick up her sleeve to keep us from paying way more earnest money out of pocket. Once we got the lot and model going, we worked with Melanie to get designs going. She was fun and gave a lot of input, but was not pushy about anything. She was very relaxed about the whole thing and kept us on a good deadline. Our house is still being built (1 more month), but I feel confident we will be happy with the end product. I will post pictures when everything is done. The only negatives are that the basic items are hard to keep. You almost need to upgrade them. That's not the worst thing because they do it to keep prices low.
