DLV repaired several leaky places on our roof which had rotten decking. They did a very thorough job, replaced roof boards, felt, shingle and chimney flashing. All the employees were very professional, polite and hard-working. James, the supervisor, was focused on our complete satisfaction. DLV worked with our stone mason during the reconstruction of 2 chimneys on our house to re-engineer the chimney to roof interface and install copper flashing around the base of the chimneys. When the chimneys were near completion, they stripped and re-shingled the roof. Once the chimneys were completed, they returned at no charge to inspect the roof and replaced a number of shingles damaged during the final stage of chimney construction. I rarely write reviews, however, the experience working with DLV was so exceptional I felt compelled. I've worked with many contractors over the years and DLV tops the list as the best.

When my house needed to have the shingles replaced I contacted several Asheville area roofing contractors to discuss the job and provide pricing. Some of them failed to follow through while others provided an extraordinarily high or low price. DLV Roofing seemed the best in that Barry the estimator spent ample time inspecting the job, providing options and recommendations, and overall explaining his approach to the work. The process was an interactive one between DLV Roofing and the customer, which differed from most other roofers I met with who basically asked “what do you want?” and gave few or no suggestions to achieve the best outcome. Barry instilled in me a level of confidence that DLV knows roofing and will not take shortcuts to lower the cost. Their pricing was not the lowest or highest and seemed correct and fair to achieve a properly done job. The crew arrived as scheduled and immediately started work by first laying tarps across my deck to protect it from possible damage. The dumpster soon arrived and the crew laid boards for it to sit on so that my gravel driveway would not be disturbed. The supplier then arrived and the shingles, etc. were quickly unloaded. Then work began and continued until 7:00 PM in the effort to perform as much of the job as possible. The crew completed 80% of the work and returned the next morning, totally completing the job by 1:00 PM. The crew was polite and considerate of my family and property. The cleanup work was excellent and other than seeing new shingles on the roof I can barely tell they had been here. But most important is that the job was done promptly and professionally and looks very good. The next day Barry inspected the roof, provided warranty paperwork and the receipt. Barry appeared to sincerely desire customer satisfaction and spent as much time as needed with my wife and me to ensure that was the result. While there are likely other equally qualified roofers near Asheville I did not meet them and I cannot imagine any surpassing the high quality work of DLV Roofing.

They were extremely kind, hardworking, and patient which is very important as the customer they were dealing with were very frustrated and at their wits end. I cannot express how great an experience we had with this company. Let's face it, replacing a roof is no fun. It is expensive, messy, and can drag on and on. The roofers at this company were fast, clean, and exceedingly polite. We have three small children so leftover nails were a concern. We have not found one nail left behind. One of my children is exceedingly curious and wants to know about everything. I listened, somewhat amused, as the foreman on the project, Darwin, went over in exceptional and patient detail about every step. So we now have a great looking roof and a child who wants to be a roofer when he grows up! Pick this company!

Total first class from initial site visit to follow up months later! Estimate was done after consulting and shingle samples supplied. Date was set , checked on 48 hours prior to job and the job was done by a great bunch of workers that cleaned up and took care of all around our house and plantings. Gutters taken down and removed at our request and when a follow up issue was discovered several months after the job, a call was made and the next day a supervisor came out followed up by a work team that did the needed repair. I was told by a very reputable local family of builders that DLV was THE best and I totally agree!!

I was having a tough time finding a roofing company that could replace a roof quickly, including some unknown amount of rotten wood repair, and chimney encapsulation work. (Don't waste your time with Balkan Roofing, they always pass on the hard jobs). DLV was very professional, thorough, gave a reasonable quote, and did the work super quick. I trusted they were giving me the best advice they could and doing top notch work without cutting corners the entire time. They paid attention to my concerns and questions. When we were house hunting, we knew we couldn’t get what we wanted, for what we wanted to pay in Henderson County. Our search ended with this grey and most awful blue trim eyesore in Polk county. With the hard work of the DLV crew they transformed it into my Pinterest worthy dream house. I no longer cringe when I pull up the driveway! I can’t say enough great things about the effortless communication, planning, and execution of our renovation! With the way house costs keep rising, it’s good to know you’re dream house is still attainable even if you feel like you had to settle. Not only did it improve our aesthetics but our value has significantly increased as well. Best money ever spent!

We had to wait a bit to get scheduled, but they did a great job. They had two full days set aside, but were essentially done in one (long) day and a couple hours the next morning. It sounded like a war zone in here all day, so I'd definitely suggest NOT being at home. They cleaned everything up all around the house and were very efficient. I highly recommend. I found them because of the advertisement on one of their trucks. We got other estimates, but are glad we chose DLV.

Finally an honest company who does a reliable job! We had another storm company convince us we had so much damage to open a claim which was denied and our insurance could not find the damage they spoke of. Waste of a claim. Called DLV for another opinion (spoke with James who was very nice and informative), they found the small leak, fixed it easily and told us we should have a couple of years left on our roof. They were fast, polite, honest and reliable. Eddie and Jose who fixed it was great to work with and I wouldn’t go any other place, they will be our company when we replace the whole roof.

My husband and I recently bought a house that was in desperate, immediate need of a new roof. Israel came over and gave us a very reasonable quote and scheduled the roof replacement exactly when I needed it. He was delightful to work with and was very responsive to all my questions. The roofing job was completed as scheduled and the house and yard were left free of debris. All the people working on the roof were polite and hard working. I feel fortunate to have gotten a referral from a friend to use DVL roofing and plan to use them again in a few years when we replace the roof on our carriage house. I highly recommend them.
